Lost...
Hear my cry O God;
Listen to my prayer.
From the end of the earth i call to you,
when my heart is weak.
Lead me to a rock,
Higher than I.
For you O God, have heard my vows;
You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name...
(Psalms 61: 1-2, 5)
I'm lost, and here i stand, on my knees begging of you to solve my troubles, for I am weak, in this moment of silence.
Listen to my prayer.
From the end of the earth i call to you,
when my heart is weak.
Lead me to a rock,
Higher than I.
For you O God, have heard my vows;
You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name...
(Psalms 61: 1-2, 5)

Spiritual Attacks
Note: This really happened to me. I'm not lying.
To all my blog readers, my apologies for not updating my blog for so long. I've been quite busy recently. This post is specially dedicated to my Christian friends. Well, what I'm going to share with you is about my experience last week.
As many of you know, I've gotten a job at a certain company doing stuff like logistics... which basically means that I have to carry boxes of computers around. Quite fun though... We get to travel all around... which means I had to be sent to places like Tebedu, Tebakang, Serian, Sungai *something*, Riih Daso and so on...
Well... on Friday, on the way to Serian, our job was to deliver 24 sets of desktop computers to rural schools. On the way, i looked up to the clouds and was shocked to see a cloud formation representing this...
Yeah. Shocked? What I saw was actually a cloud formation depicting a serpent ready to devour the head of our Lord. At that point, I didn't have my camera phone with me and I didnt get to taking a pic of that formation. My heart was beating madly and I was breathing heavily. Knowing that I had a youth gathering that night, I would be able to get an explanation of what was going on. So I just brushed that image out of my mind and i had simply forgotten about it.
That afternoon....
I had just finished my lunch and was on the way to Tebedu. While having lunch break, I was deleting all the messages that my ex had sent to me. Unsurprisingly, I really felt like I was in my own world and yeah... a little part of me still misses her, though I know that there would be ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE that we were going back together due to some complications.
Just as I was siting in the urine-provoking truck (the truck was driven at almost 120km/h and we were thrown up and down... or rather.. 'jumped' up and down rather uncontrollably), a little voice inside my head started talking
Voice: You know you miss her...
Me: I don't know...
Voice: You'll never be together ever again...
Me: I know....
Voice: Haven't you ever thought of just... leaving this world?
Me: (unknowingly) yeah...
Voice: Then why don't you....
Me: I don't want to...
Voice: It'll be painless...
Me: ....
Voice: You still remember all those sweet messages she sent to you?
Me: uhuh....
Voice: You won't ever receive them again...
Me: *frus* I don't wanna die..
Voice: You said you'd die without her...
Me: that was last time...
Voice: Then what about now?
Me: *tries to stop thinking and concentrate on the road*
Voice: She lied about saying that she'll be with you forever...
Me: There are complications...
Voice: You should be angry....
Me: (influenced by anger)
Voice: She left you without a good reason...
Me: i know...
Voice: Aren't you angry?
Me: *ARRRGHHH* GOD HELP ME!!!!!!
Voice: ...
Me: (praying) LORD I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!
Voice: ...
Me: In the name of Jesus BEGONE!!
The little voice stopped. Terrified at what happened... I started to pray... and i knew that I had almost lost a spiritual battle. I haven't been that close to the Lord... and I guess that in that point of time, I hadn't had enough faith to fight that spiritual battle.
On the way to the border, I didn't see any mountains or hills along the way except for the ones beside the straight road. So on we went.. and there were many delays and stuff... by 4.30, we were already on our way back to Serian to deliver desktops to the teacher of SK Tanah Puteh.
I saw a beautiful scenery.. but when i got nearer... i saw what looked like this...
familiar?

Yeah, it looked EXACTLY like what i saw in the clouds!! and what's worse...
The mountain depicting the serpent was scaled... and it was all whitish or brownish... whatever it is... but then... look at this.

Looks EXACTLY like a snake

See?? the black part looks like a really BIG patch of ashes... but who the heck would burn something on a SCALED HILL??? furthermore, I SAW THAT THING LOOKING AT ME while i was going along... freaky eh?
Yep... pretty sure it was the work of satan. But wait, i thought it was over. Upon arrival at Serian, I almost got knocked down by a car and had to wait for almost half an hour before we could finally meet the teacher who was receiving the goods. but NO.. another agonising hour had to be wasted because the teacher was trying to sort out some money matters.. and by the time it was done it was already 6.30! and as we all know, it takes AT LEAST 1 hour to arrive in Kuching.
So in the truck, I could only pray... when I saw a few hills on my left... depicting Jesus with his arms stretched out, laid on the floor not once but THREE TIMES. Yup. I was literally gasping for air and just laid back and stared in front. I had a revelation saying "you'll be home by 7.15". And so I did. *praise the Lord*
I thought that all I had to do was to just rush, shower, change my clothes and then rush on for the youth gathering. HOWEVER... when I got home, I discovered 3 things.
1. My dad's car broke down
I have no idea what happened but the car seemed to be working fine
2. A temporary stay-in aunt had to be rushed to the hospital
She was coughing out blood
3. I wont make it to the gathering
You get the rest
I instantly knew that the evil one was at work. All I did was pray... my dad got home... but we had only one car and we had to rush my aunt to the hospital. I was thinking "God... let ur will be done". And my parents had to call for an ambulance to get my aunt to the hospital... while I was rushed to the gathering as i KNEW that there was something important going on.
I thought I had missed praise and worship... but when I got there, they were only singing the 2nd song... and I thought... well... praise the Lord. We instantly went into worship... and there were many touching verses during sharing that night... I talked to Mervyn after the thing and he said that we'll pray about it... So i called my parents and I followed Merv.
After the praying... i knew... that that very day, the evil one knew that there was something very important during our gathering that would've changed our lives forever... and he was bent on stopping ME from getting closer to God. (obviously)
I also noticed that everytime there was something going on for the youths, I will be held up in one way of another... hmm... there should be something to this... but i know that as long as I have faith... nothing can stop me... and the same applies to all my readers =D
but why me?

Heritage Restaurant
First and foremost: This post is VERY VERY long and I suggest that you grab a cup of coffee or something before you start reading... Go out and start stretching, doing some exercise... ah whatever... just read... =P
This post is dedicated especially to those who love food and are living in the humble town of Kuching... To those typical Chinese families, set yourself aback by 4 years... the time when the restaurant Tsui Hua Law was the best restaurant in Kuching. It was a time when during festive seasons, families would gather at this particular restaurant to order mouth-watering dishes. I have a fond liking to this restaurant as... heheh.. it was founded by my great-grandfather many years back, and through his hard work and preserverence, it has managed to win the Golden Kris Award in the year 2000. The sad thing was that... last year, my grand uncle, or rather, my grandma's brother decided to sell of the restaurant as they found it really hard to manage. It then changed hands to some owner... and I bet that most of you miss the food...
But fear not people! The food is back, thanks to the commitment and loyalty of the chefs and the staff, a new restaurant has been opened to the public! It's located in Ban Hock Road, and is in the same block as the Jade Pot Teahouse and the Hidden Treasure Christian Gift Shop.
Yeah, I know that my camera is a little "senget" but then... since everyone was staring at me, and if it weren't for the fact that I RISKED MY LIFE to take this picture (I was standing in the middle of the road), this picture would have been much better =P
Okay... so the moment I walked into the restaurant... a strong scent started to fill the air... it was the scent of....
it was...
Yup. Food. The same smell that i used to smell as I was a kid. Oh how I miss it!!!!! ^^
As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by the familiar and friendly faces of those waiters and waitresses. Yup.. ah the good all days... I looked at the happy faces of my parents and grandparents... wow... real happiness! So we can come to a conclusion that....
The stomach is the key to a man and woman's heart xD
So we sat down...
and waited...
and waited...
hold on.. i think i got this wrong...
we sat down...
and ordered food... heck if i knew what they were talking about... forgive me for my mandarin... (i was brought up in a chinese environment but i totally refused to speak in mandarin) but what i knew was... I was gonna taste the same old food again! =D
and THEN we waited...
and waited...
and waited...
how long is this gonna take..?
oh wait...
only 3 minutes passed...
wait... owh yeah... the food arrived in around 5-10 minutes... but at the 3rd minute... their first dish arrived!!! heck if i know whats going on, but the food was served on the 3rd minute! that's only one minute slower than cooking maggi mee!!
and this was their first dish...
So... the food that was included in this dish is:
1. Seaweed (the green looking stuff.
comments: It was kinda nice... I mean... REALLY NICE!!! i think it was the first item to be finished
2. Seasoned baby octopus (the thingies with tentacles)
comments: Sweet and chewy...
3. Ham
comments: yeah, ham. it was really nice, though... and it tasted somewhat like the commercial ham... only... nicer in a way xD
4. Drunken Chicken
comments: the chicken was really tender and was soaked in wine before it was prepared and is served cold... makes you wonder if the chicken was fed with wine as well eh?
5. Duck
comments: heck i dont know how this was prepared.. but it was nice!! XD
6. and lastly... JELLYFISH
comments: my favourite!!! =P
yeah... and and and... the dishes were so nice that my parents decided to order it again... yeah.. hahaha!! *first time i hear*
Anyway.. it was soooo nice that...
Isn't it funny how people don't notice anything happening around them when they're engrossed with food?
This water buffalo does though... wait.. he's not a human

useless crap?
So as most of you know, this week is only the starting point of the boredom of the post-PMR programme...
Today, I woke up at 6.30... wait... thought I went late? think again.. LOL! I had actually left home at 6.50 in the morning... and usually the drive to school would take 20 minutes... but today was different.. I got to school on time!!! xDD
With only 3 minutes left before the bell rings... i walked into the gates of the place that has been home to me for 3 years... St. Joseph's Secondary School. Somehow, I didn't feel the pressure of being in there... it was like there was this "calm" sorta feeling... but after i got into the class, I had the shock of my life...
no, not like this...
it made my hair stand on end...
it was like this...
the class was empty!!!
ok fine it wasn't empty.. but pretty sure there were a few people around doing stuff
anyways... i talked to them...
and i was wondering why there were only less than 20 people in the class.. and my friend said that we were unoccupied until 10.00 am..... and there i was, thinking "why in the world did i have to wake up so friggin' early this morning???" *whacks head*
anyway.. the school rally was sung.... and everyone started walking out of the class. I followed Alistair, Leslie, James and Su to the Dream Master Cyber just to kill time. (yes, i do go to cyber cafes) and so i went (too bad i didnt bring a camera).
I started playing DotA - aka - Defense of the Ancients... it's a game map made for this game:
Yeap... It's for the game Warcraft III: Frozen Throne. It's a really nice game actually.. but i'm kinda new at this and if it wasn't for the fact that the computers were lagging, I wouldn't have been killed by everyone (other players) =.="
ANYWAYS... i got sick after playing for 1 hour.. so I decided to play with my dear friend Su... kekekekeke... *i pwned him 3 times flat in Red Alert 2*
and i left the cyber after that to attend the programme they had in store for me in school... it was kinda boring... it was the vocational something something... and according to that I would be a scientist or something... lol...
So... anyway... all the best to everyone in killing your boredom~
And as a conclusion.. I had actually wasted one entire morning of beauty sleep just to go for some stupid vocational thing.. sori ppl xD
peace out~

FREEDOM!!!!
okay.. so PMR's finally over and we (the PMR candidates) have absolutely nothing to do. It's not like we have total freedom however, because we have orders to RETURN TO SCHOOL!!! *ARGHH the horror!!!* yeap... so we now have absolutely nothing to do, which means we go to school without anything that is really beneficial for us (except playing)
other than to play, the beneficial things that we get to do is:
- talk like nobody's business
- sleep like nobody's business
- have public speaking (kinda interesting, tho)
- rocket launching comp (WOOHOO!!!)
- bring a guitar to school and start jamming<<<< i like this
okay... so now... i'm gonna show you all the true horror of the post pmr programme... what we're doing is that we're gonna...
- cook
- and do nothing
Well, yeah, that may be only two points for that matter... but the thing is that we've got freedom for free!!! except for when it comes to this...
freedom that comes with a price
This, my friends, is freedom. It comes with a price of only £1.39p... which after conversion is about RM 10... which means.. freedom comes with a price.. and we'd probably need a lot more freedom in our post-pmr lives... so... for those of you who feel bored or trapped within yourselves, get some freedom to soothe your nerves ^^
Disclaimer: This product is available for promotion in Europe only.
On the other hand, freedom fighters are people who fight for freedom, and do not want it free... so here's a definition of what is and what isnt a freedom fighter.

okay.. so right now... i'm changing my blog from a music-orientated blog (yeah right) to one that i use to show my life journeys... the main reasons are:
1. it's dang boring.. i mean... FReAKING BORING to look for some hot topics about bands
2. i don't get to use my creativity a lot (i copy and paste xD)
3. i'll most likely be inactive after all the boring stuff happens
4. my blog would be deleted after a few weeks of inactiviy
5. which would lead to total boredom during the hols
6. so...
i'm writing about my personal experiences because...
1. it's fun
2. you get to experience the joy of writing (i mean me xD)
3. i have no idea
4. but i'm doing it anyways...
so... i've got to give my special thanks to
1. Father God for your love for me
2. Kenny Sia (u probably don't know me) for the inspirations that you've given me
3. Friends like Cyril, Shalyn, Lip Yi and Elaine.... ALSO for ur inspirations
4. and every other blogger for your inspiration
okay.. so i'm sounding as if i'm talking all about inspirations... well... that's not entirely true... it's just because i'm PLAIN BORED!! xD

Slipknot still masked after 12 years
Known for his groundbreaking video work in the metal world, Director Thomas Mignone told E.S. Day of Abort Magazine recently that the members of SLIPKNOT have many times gone before their audience without their trademark adornments and remained virtually unrecognized.
Says Mignone, "I can't tell you how many shows, at least a hundred shows where I shot at or attended, where the band set up their own gear (unmasked) right in front of their fans and nobody had a clue that that was the band.

iTunes roll out premium service
iTunes roll out premium service
![]() EMI - home of Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Lily Allen - is the first record company to make its catalogue available free of Digital Right Management (DRM), the anti-piracy technology which currently restricts the copying of downloaded tracks. The new downloads will sell for 99p and will be of higher sound quality than the standard 79p versions. Apple chief executive Steve Jobs and EMI boss Eric Nicoli unveiled the deal at the record company's London headquarters. Speculation that the announcement would relate to the Beatles' back catalogue being made available through iTunes proved groundless. The 99p tracks will be available from next month and Apple predicts other record labels will follow EMI's lead. Users will be able to upgrade existing EMI downloads to the DRM-free version for 20p each. Complete EMI albums will automatically be sold DRM-free with no change in price. The standard 79p versions will remain available but EMI said its research showed music fans are prepared to pay extra for higher quality, interoperable tracks. Currently, a track bought on iTunes can only be played on an iPod unless a user burns it onto a CD. Mr Jobs called the announcement: "The next big step forward in the digital music revolution." He added: "This is a landmark event and the beginning of a major shift taking place this year, resulting in users being able to buy from any music site and play the track on any player." Damon Albarn's band The Good, The Bad and The Queen, played at the launch. |

Panic! At The Disco Planning 'Love Story' — And Dr. Dre Hookup? (taken from MTV.com)
Bassist says band's second LP will feature 'romantic, poetic fantasies'; calls hip-hop producer 'genius.'
You'd think the guys in Panic! at the Disco would have a whole buncha goals in mind for the follow-up to their platinum debut, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. But, no — they have just one.
"Actually, our whole goal for this CD is to create a close relationship with Dr. Dre. You know, getting some sort of business plan worked out," bassist Jon Walker laughed. "I mean, the guy's a genius."
Of course he's joking (we think), because there's clearly more on the line for them this time around. Which is probably why, earlier this month, they announced they were moving into a cabin in the hills of Nevada to begin work on the yet-untitled disc (see "Panic! At The Cabin: Rockers Go Into Hibernation To Work On Sophomore Disc"). And it's probably why, when MTV News caught up with them in Atlanta last week — where they took a break from the recording process to play a free show at Centennial Olympic Park — they were fully sporting the "studio look": grizzled, patchy beards; bags under the eyes; and pale(r than usual) complexions.
"We're all sort of getting cabin fever. We'd go four to five days without leaving the house sometimes, and it's been nice to be outside for even a day," guitarist Ryan Ross sighed. "And I got sick of wearing sweatpants every day."
Ross added that Panic have four songs finished already and that they'll remain in the cabin — located around Nevada's Mount Charleston — for another month before heading to Los Angeles to continue work on the album. The new songs, he said, will follow his earlier idea of a "modern fairy tale" (see "Panic's Vacation Plan: Shoot A Video, Write Songs, Find Spot For Moonmen") but with a romantic twist.
"After bands become successful, they always make that choice to do the record about how cool or how hard it is to be in a successful band," he said. "So we wanted to do something more universal, something that pretty much anyone can relate to ... something that you wouldn't be able to place in a certain time period. And it's been really challenging [to write] lyrics for something like that, especially when our last record had so many references to pop culture. ... This one is pretty much a love story."
Walker chimed in to add that it's not just Ross who's spinning that love story. The whole band is getting involved, collaborating on a story line that one might even call — gasp! — a "concept."
"We all got together and created this — I guess you could call it a concept — that we all wrote and we were all involved with and pretty interested in," Walker added. "Most people who listen to our music can't relate to what it's like to tour and play shows and live on the road. That's the last thing we want to write about, because we do it all the time anyway. Ryan said it best. It's kind of a love story. It's a timeless age of romantic, poetic fantasies."
The guys have apparently scrapped their original plans to recruit songwriter/composer Danny Elfman to work on their sophomore album (see "Panic! At The Disco Promise Vulgar Video, Want Movie Music For New LP"), instead choosing producer Rob Mathes, who worked with Panic on the re-release of the "Nightmare Before Christmas" soundtrack (see "Fall Out Boy, Panic, Marilyn Manson Add To New 'Nightmare Before Christmas' Soundtrack"). The band's management, however, said Mathes has not been confirmed as the producer for the album.
And though Elfman might be out of the question, that doesn't mean things aren't still gonna be theatrical, fantastical and/or cinematic on Panic's new album. Quite the opposite, in fact.
