To start weaning??

Last visit to Dr. Lee, he recommended to start you off with some rice cereal. But after reading some books and advises from some of Mummy's friends, I decided to start later(approx. 5months?)
Reason:
1)From birth till 6 months, formula milk is the only food that baby needs.

2)Until baby is at least 6 months old, his digestive tract is incapable of digesting and absorbing complex food.If introduce solids before this time not only will they pass through largely undigested, but will also putting an increased strain on the baby's immature kidneys.

Sad to say, Mummy is a BAD COOK! In order to let you grow healthily when you start weaning, I am now doing some "research" on baby food and their nutritional facts in hope that I could prepare a healthy meal for you in another 2 months time.

Estimated date to start weaning( 18/October/2007??)

Bumper Playmat

Today, the bumper playmat that Mummy & Daddy bought for you had arrived.

So Careless of ME!!

Bought a thumb drive to store all the photos from the camera as the SD card memory is full.
BUT on the 16/Sep/2007, I think I accidentally deleted all the photos!!!!
Was so upset and angry with myself.

Luckily the expert saved all the photos and that is your 2nd Yi-zhan.He managed to retrieve all the photos that Mummy had deleted.

Thanks a million and I owned you one Sushi Tei treat :)(not including your wife one hor...haha) coz she always want to "zhan ben yi". :P

Vaccination & Growth

Yesterday, we went for your 4months vaccination.(2nd DPT Infaurix X HIS , 2nd Polio vaccine & 3rd Pneumococcal).This time you cried at the 2nd Jab(total 2 Jabs).
You were weighing 5.9kgs and Dr. Lee said you are growing fine but it will be better if you gain more weight. According to your length now(64.4cm), you should be weighing another 1kg and that is 6.9kgs!
Dr. Lee recommended Mummy to start some rice cereal for you. Hope the next visit to the doctor, your weight will increase.
Now you are still feeding on 5oz(150ml) per 4 hours.

Uncle Weili's Wedding Lunch

Wow, this is your first time attending a wedding!
On the 16/09/07 was the wedding of Uncle Weili & Aunty Yvonne.
They held their wedding lunch at Bukit Batok(Crystal Ballroom)and it was fun. As many aunties and uncles had their first meeting with you, you were being carried around and Mummy need to go around looking for you.
Was wondering whether the main role are the bride & groom or you. Haha

As the newly wed were so busy, we don't managed to take any photos with them. So wasted but Mummy managed to take photos with some of my cousins.

Busy week

It been 4 days since Mummy update the blog,ne.
Let me recalled what we had done during this few days.

Date: 08/09/2007
Location: Vivo City
Purpose: Shopping
As Uncle Weili's wedding is approaching, your grandma need to buy a pant to go with her pretty blouse and poor Mummy need to buy some clothes,too(after giving birth, my figure is not same as before, sob... sob)so we decided to go to Vivo city at World Trade centre to do some shopping.
On that day, we managed to buy what we wanted. So happy!
For 2nd Yiyi, she bought a pair of shoes and a dress
For Grandma, she bought a pair of pants
For Mummy, I bought a pair of jeans and a blouse
For you, Mummy bought a set of "Daddy's style clothes" & sock for you.
Haha, why Mummy said it "Daddy's style clothes"? Because your Daddy like to wear those style of clothing too. Just look at the photos.

Location: Paragon Orchard & Takashimaya
Purpose : BB Gathering & Shopping
Aunty Rie invited us for a lunch + BB gathering at Paragon Crystal Jade. There, we met some new friends,Catherine+Baby Alex & Sakura san+Baby Kenzo kun. We, Mummies were busy eating and exchanging informations while you babies were busy sleeping, looking around or feeding.
Aiya, but this time Mummy don't take any photo. Mummy so forgetful,ne.
Next time I will remember.

Visit to Aunty Rie's House

Yesterday, we went to Aunty Rie's house and we had a great time there!
Mummy and Aunty Rie had our lunch near the poolside while you enjoyed the scenery there.Wow, u really know how to relax.

After lunch, we went to Aunty Rie's house for tea. We placed you and Miyuna chan on the mat and both of started to play. so adorable...(Just look at those photos...)

Thanks for inviting us, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Finally you are drinking your milk!

Thanks God, you are drinking your milk again.
Though your appetite is still small, I am pleased that you don't refuse your feed now.

Average you are still drinking 4oz(120ml) but maybe now you are in the "growth spurts" phrase, you are able to finish 5oz(150ml).Mummy is so happy!
Just as long as you are healthy and gaining weight well, I don't mind the amount you drink.

I believe... As long as you sleep well, feed well.. you will be our healthy & happy baby.

Dislike of being alone

Now you cannot be left alone for one second.You will start to whimper when you see no one around you. If we continue to ignore you, your whimper will turn to loud shrieking whining(wonder where you learn this, or you are born with it?)Well, I will try to video this when time allow.

With your shrieking whining, you finally get the attention you want. We will all come to you and carry you, and once you are being carried, you will give us a cheeky smile seem like telling us: "see i done it".

Though you need our attention most of the time, Mummy is happy.
It shown you want to be close to us but I hope you are not spoiled by us.
