Wow, you are more stable now

Yesterday, Mummy try putting you on your stomach again and you are able to support yourself better than last time(25 August 07).
Your neck is more stable now and you are able to turn your head around when people call you and you are able to hold your head higher too.
Ganbatte,ne.. Mummy can't wait to hold you in your upright position.

Last Sunday(26 August 07), we went shopping with your grandma and 2 yiyi. And grandma bought you a set of clothing with a cap.
This time, she bought the clothes and the cap with the "cow" print. Moo... Moo... So cute, isn't it?

Why aren't you drinking your milk?

Why aren't you drinking your milk recently? Mummy is so worried
Mummy thought you are not feeling well but you are still playing happily as usual.

You just refuse the feed when I offered to you. You either play with the milk with your tongue (pushing the bottle nipple in and out of your mouth) or letting the milk flow out of your mouth or push away the bottle by both of your hands.

At the age of 3 months, you should be drinking about 5oz(150ml) per feed at every 4hours. But now you are only drinking 4oz(120ml) per feed at every 4 hours and most of the time you don’t finish all. Mummy is already worried about the amount that you drink and yet now you refuse your feed.

In order to make you drink your milk, I have to feed you when you are half sleeping(IN REM mode)or make only 3oz and feed you every 2-3hours.

As per last visit to your paediatrician, Dr Lee on the 17 August 2007, you are weighing 5.45kgs and lenght 62cm.
Dr. Lee said your weight gain is ok but still Mummy hope you will gain more so please drink more milk, ne.

Learning & Your Baby Talk

Wow, now my little Keito is learning to support his head when we place him on his stomach. Though you are still not very stable, you are trying your best..Ganbatte,ne..

Still remember Mummy bought you the ABC book? When we try to show to you, you will try to grab the book and at the same time looking at those colourful alphabet with interest. Next time when we go to Japan, I will ask Daddy to buy あいうえお book for you, ok? So U can start learning Japanese.

Yesterday, you are happily playing with your future 2nd Yi-zhan. You seem to like him alot. You keep talking baby language to him. Haha, don't know whether he understand you or not.
Since we are talking about your future 2nd Yi-zhan, Mummy will like to credit him for creating a beautiful blog for you.

Your Favourite Activity (Thumb sucking)

Now your favourite activity everyday is thumb sucking(or should I say is hand sucking).
You will always do this while playing, after a feed and after a shower. The only time when you are not doing this is when you are asleep.

You will look at your hand, judge the distance and put them in your mouth but sometimes you miss your target(your mouth), you will get irritated
But if you hit your target, you will be smiling and happily sucking away.
Mummy like to see you when you are observing your hand, you look so adorable but not your hand sucking.
Mummy hope you will kick this habit soon.

Gifts

Times flies.You are now 3 months and 7 days.
This is the 1st time that Mummy write a blog.
Because Mummy knows nothing about creating a blog but in order to make something special for you, Mummy spent the whole afternoon trying to figure up how to set up. BUT you are not cooperative, want to sleep but keep complaining(crying), just want someone to carry you.
Luckily with the help of your 3rd Yi, we managed to set up this blog for you.

As Daddy's job is based in HongKong and Mummy come to Singapore to give birth to you so your Daddy came to Singapore last week(11 Aug 2007 ~19 Aug 2007) to visit you and make your passport.
We will soon go back to join him in the early of Nov'2007.

During his stay in Singapore, he went for shopping and bought you a few gifts. Since I am showing you the gifts that he bought for you, I will als show you the gifts given by your grandmother, maternal grandmother and Ah Yi.
