But it's not fanta-sea, it IS real life.
Thus, I'd like to express my inexpressible gratitude to everyone who has been a part of my life for the past 1 1/2 years, and also the past 19 years. It was a little disconcerting initially, making the jump from school to college. However, I eased myself into college life, and honestly found it better than school life is a few different ways. A long while ago, back in form 5, teachers used to say that school life would be the most awesome time of our lives. I don't deny it, schooling life was quite awesome! Relatively stress-free, little workloads, and manageable lives. However, many might have entered into strictly regimented college lives, with equally tight dress codes, and codes of conduct etc. No, that life is not for me. I don't pay heed to useless formalities, uncomfortable clothing in hot weather conditions and many more. The liberal, casual (in dress code), environment of my own college is much more to my taste. The fact that it was beside Pyramid did help as well, I suppose.
So, ever since getting the offer to study in New Zealand in mid-2010, I have been waiting to go there. Heck, I've been waiting to go to NZ since 1999, but I'll save that story for a later time. But amazingly, time did not drag on for most of my time in Sunway. Admittedly, I was kept too busy by the relentless flow of work. But, I not only survived my pre-u program, I ENJOYED it. Sure, it was formally a "I-need-to-get-through-this-to-fly-abroad" thing, but it was less so in my mind. Although the early stages of 2011 did prove to be rather disconcerting at first, I adapted.

P/s the title of my post is the motto of the University of Auckland. It means ability, and labour. (:
