Fish Fry Parade

It's tough to be in the Fish Fry Parade without winning a pageant!
It is also tough to win a pageant if you don't enter them...
So to knock this off the family bucket list we paired up with our favorite clown!
(This was not really on Chip's bucket list but he was a good sport)
The last TN McDonald's event for our family!
These women and girls have changed our lives.
 Now let's rock this parade!
I would like to note that we were the most popular group in the parade.
We handed out LOTS of coupons!
McDonald's is taking us on a totally different journey.
One that we would have never guessed a year ago!
We are moving to Indiana.  Paris has been our home for 15 years.  CEK has never known anywhere else.  It is a bittersweet move but we know that God has plans for our family.
We are following his plan and we are lovin' it!

Fish Fry Carnival

We went to the fish fry carnival for the last time as Parisians!
Of course we went with our favorite people!
These 2 have gone to the carnival together for 6 years!
WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR TO CONTINUE THIS TRADITION!
Speaking of traditions these 2 won fish!  AGAIN!
But the real winning didn't go on until the last game of the night!
 She hit the jackpot!
I barely got it in the car to get it home.
Happy Girl!

Things we have done in April!

So I am not sure what happened to March.
So many things have happened in April I had to delete 103 pictures off my phone just to figure out what we did!
With the approaching move we are in full go mode all the time these days!
We are trying to spend as much time with friends as possible.
I hate to admit we will be very sad to see Neighbor not be our neighbor anymore.
Although I feel certain he will always have the title!
These 2 took off for Indiana over spring break!
They were pumped.
Then they were returned to me like this... HAHAHA!
We celebrated Easter with friends this year!
Caroline got to paint Easter eggs.  Dying them is so childish!

The Perry Family invited us to Kenlake resort (I think that is where we were) for an egg hunt.
Wherever we were... hunt was all CEK needed to hear.
She did her thing!
2nd Grade at Rhea went to the Discovery Park of America.
I chased the girls above around the park for 3 hours.... I am getting old.
Mrs. Searcy and some of her kiddos!
We made a quick trip to Indiana to celebrate Bob's birthday!
His favorite girls!
Then Caroline and I headed to Evansville so that she could visit her new school.
She met lots of new friends right away and got to try out wearing a uniform!
For the most part we have spent the rest of April at the softball field.

As you can tell all of our friends are there!

Random Pictures on my Phone

I have over 2000 pictures on my phone!
I try to clean them out every now and then.
I can't lie it is tough - I love when I find these!

A little Snow

IT seems that for the last couple years our snow comes late in the season.
When it is NOT supposed to be snowing... but whatever.
These 3 enjoyed the snow this year.
It was colder than I remember last year.
Or I am just getting older!
 Snow Selfie!
Celia and Caroline enjoyed a little snow exploring!
We are short on hill in our neighborhood.
So they settled for snow rolling until Chip got home from work to pull them behind the 4-wheeler.
He loves it as much as they do!
 All the kids rode.
Frankie and I supervised!
The broken arm didn't slow down the kid.
She barely stopped to eat!
We pulled out that snowman kit that was in her stocking 2 years ago and put it to use.
Then Frankie ate it!
I am glad spring has sprung!

A Broken Arm

The Skating Rink!
So many good times were had there until we broke our arm!
The readers digest version is this:
CEK and Audrey went skating with Amelia and we were going to pick them up and leave for Tunica for the swim championship.
I got a text from Sharon stating CEK had fallen and hurt her arm - but was continuing to skate - she assumed it was not too bad!  We headed straight to the rink. When we walked in our kid fell apart - bless her!  Chip thought we better take her to the ER - I thought we should just head on to Tunica and swim.  (This is the point Chip looked at me like I was nuts!)
So here we are waiting at the ER!
Here they are confirming my baby has a broken are and that I am the worst mother ever - at the same time! All with one X-ray!
So we got this temporary brace.wrap thing and went home to wait on a orthopedic appt. Monday.
Audrey went on the the swim championship and rocked it!
We did this!
Monday morning CEK went to school long enough for everyone to sign her cast and me to get her into the specialist.  Who confirmed that CEK had a buckle fracture!
She got her new brace and instructions to wear for 4 weeks!
She would get it off just in time for softball!

I turned 38 and we celebrated with ice cream in our jammies!
One of my most favorite things to do!

American Girl Store Adventure

For her birthday CEK got the new American Girl from Yaya and Bob!
Grace - loves all things Paris and so was perfect for CEK!
She arrived the day before a scheduled trip to St. Louis with the grandparents!
We arrived at the hotel and the hotel provided an american girl gift!
Thank God - cause we certainly do not have enough stuff!
These 2 are about to lose 3 hours of their lives they will never get back in the doll store!
We took Celia with us on this adventure!
Cause duh...
 I got to go too!
Celia bought Grace with her birthday money as soon as we arrived!
The two lovely women behind them worked their magic to provide the Graces with new hair!
What do you do for a living? I am a doll hair artist!
Matching doll/girl pajamas were purchased and the night was complete!
The next day it was the C&C show!
They were matching head to to and ready to go again!
 These 2 were ready too!
Except Bob wasn't haha - he went to the mall!
 Because we had lunch reservations!
Celia and Caroline's birthday are about 2 weeks apart.
Except Celia is a year older! So we celebrated both girls!
Everything at the lunch was tiny!
Except Yaya (and me) we are NOT tiny!
A wonderful weekend was had by all!
