Saturday morning before our busy day I did a quick photo session with Chloe for her 5 month pics. I put her in this cute summer outfit from Mimi but the funny thing is that it was sweater weather outside that day.
Oh I love this sweet girl
See sweater weather...Our niece and my goddaughter MacKenzie received her first Holy Communion Saturday morning. This is with her godfather Jeff. I felt under dressed but I can't wear dresses right now with nursing.
And she loves her Whoawy. Chloe wore a dress for Mac and Tins that day too.

After lunch with the family we raced home to change clothes and then Coop, Chloe and I went to a birthday party for one of Cooper's friends.
Saturday night Kyle wasn't feeling well and thought he had strep. Our plans for Sunday were church then Six Flags as a family. But Kyle got up and went to carenow and found out it wasn't strep but he did have an infected sore/ulcer in his mouth so instead we spent the day at home.
We didn't go to church but instead prayed a rosary together. Chloe used her chewy rosary from Aunt Lala and Uncle John.
We prayed the rosary with the help of a cd and the boys initially were distracted watching the timer as we made our way through. It wasn't our most prayerful rosary but I am hoping to do this once a week. I want to take a more active role in developing my kids faith. It takes less than 20 minutes. My goal is for us to get better at sitting still the entire time and being more prayerful.
Then we spent a lot of time outside throughout the day.
Kyle cut a path on the back of our lot for the septic and left the rest. The boys had the best time playing 'hunters' back there and finding rabbits *no animals were hurt...much to the boys dismay*
We ended the afternoon with a water balloon fight before dinner and showers. Just the first of many this summer thanks to those bunch o balloons that we love.
Chloe watched from the safety of the stroller though one balloon popped near it and got the bottom of the stroller all wet.
Mother's day didn't go as planned but I spent it with my babies and that is what is important.
