Our week 1/13

Monday the 13th I was working but snapped these few pics before work to send to my family. My mom got her this adorable outfit...Kyle thought it looked like a clown suit but what does he know?

The 14th Chloe had her ENT evaluation for tubes in Fort Worth. She is a busy girl

RBF? Ha!

And then someone talked to her

Eating a snack before the doctor came in....

And this happened....They were EVERYWHERE!!!

Then  switched to applesauce and miss independent wanted to put the lid on herself. She did pretty good.

After her appointment we raced to my work just down the street for 30 minutes to say hi to people before taking her back to daycare. Then I went BACK to Fort Worth for a long day of work.

So bright out here...

I don't remember what is happening in this picture but her face is how I felt when she broke a glass perfume bottle in my bathroom at 6am! Yeah not what I wanted to deal with when I was exhausted and in a hurry...I was finding pieces for days!!

16th was rainy and cold. I was feeling cute in my rainboots.

That night we attended my cousin-in-law Amber's mom's rosary. It was a very sad, tough, but beautiful memorial.

On the 17th I was so tired after dropping off my kids that I was falling asleep. I took a 30 minute nap in the Kroger parking lot!

Some videos of her mastering walking.

Weekend recap 1/11

I had to work all weekend so there aren't many pictures. Saturday morning I took Chloe to her Mimi and Grandpa for a slumber party. She had so much fun.

Saturday night we had some systems issues so they sent us home early (9:30) and I got some snuggle time before bed with this cutie

Sunday Chloe played some more until her Kyle met them to get her back.

Then I left work at 5 something to be home for dinner and help get the kids ready for the week. Just give Kyle a little down time before another week on his own.

And that is all I have from that weekend.

Our week 1/6

January was a blur with close so pictures are scarce.

On the 6th I took these pictures of Chloe in her happy place. She would take a bath every day if we would let her. Unfortunately she has dry skin and gets little dry patches so we keep it to every other night.

Up bright and early hanging with momma before work. And my first official day of close (the 8th).

Already so much sass with that eyebrow...the girl is expressive.

And then a big grin when I said smile for Mimi who gave her this outfit.

That night my mom watched Chloe so Kyle could take the boys to RE. Chloe is obsessed with puppies both real and fake.

On the 8th Casen passed sight word list 6 and was on to 7! (remember his practice video from the weekend). They also started back to school and celebrated the new year.

This crazy girl was up bright and early and not sleeping great. I discovered she had her 5th tooth and number 6 was close behind.

Kyle did a great job with the kids during close and I basically lived at work...It was tough...and not over...

Weekend recap 1/4

On this weekend Kyle was working overtime both days, but it was my last weekend before year-end close started at work so I wanted to have fun with the kids. So I invited Aunt Jen Jen and Uncle David to join us at alley cats to help wrangle the cats.

I got a great discount on a gift card through Groupon and we had a blast. 2 rounds of laser tag and lots of games.

Sunday we went to church and just enjoyed our day together. Not many pics.

But I did put away all of the Christmas décor and snapped this picture of Cooper and Casen's towels they both made in kinder when they had the same teacher. Sweet memories.

Casen and I played a memory/matching game to strengthen his memory skills.

This video is of him practicing sight word list 6.

And Chloe loved alley cats and was on the move. So glad I had help.
