Cake Boss

Hayden needed to make a cake for the Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet. The rule was to have dad help make the cake.  Keith had work the day of, so the night before he and Hayden made the cake.

Hayden decorated the cake all on his own!

The boys were supposed to make a cake that represented a country. Hayden picked the good ole USA.

Whats in a phone?

I decided share a few pictures I have stashed on the memory card of my phone. I haven't blogged in a while so here goes..... Once again we have been busy. We are almost done with robot season! Here is a picture of Jakob and Corrine driving one of our robots at a demonstration at The Leonardo Museum.

Hayden had his first pinewood derby race! He was SO EXCITED.  It was so funny to watch him cheer on all of the cars. His came in about middle.... he and Keith have already discussed some changes for next year.

He did win judges choice, so he was pretty happy about that.

Kate enjoys her friends! This is a picture of "my best friend, Addy".  So cute! I really need to get these two girls together to play.

Kate also enjoys the company of the men-folk. She and George are friends again. They play very well together and can both be quite silly.

Just to prove Kate enjoys something other than eating treats with friends....

One of Jakobs friends got his Eagle so we went to the court of honor. I love this group of boys Young Men! A lot of them are on the robots team together. A lot of them are finishing up school and looking toward college and missions. Yikes!

Here is to busy but exciting times!
