 Hannah even sat still to get her face painted!

 St. Patrick's Day was a little weird this year because it fell just a few days before Easter, so we had to combine some of the festivities and dye eggs, too!

 Apparently the leprechaun left a note for the kids warning them not to dye eggs on his holiday, but they paid him no mind.

Our one year old is so sweet... She has graduated from sleeping in her co-sleeper, to sleeping in mommy's bed, to sleeping in a playpen next to my bed.  We just don't have space for a regular crib, and our crib was made into Maci's bed long ago.  So this is her bed now!

 Sometimes it gets quiet... too quiet.

 And you realize she has gotten into the jar of M&M's that daddy left on the fireplace.

 Or she's modeling clothes from the laundry pile...

 She's an adorable gardening buddy.

 And the life of the party!

 She loves to cuddle with her blanket that Nana made for her.

 And eat wooden spoons (or any other kitchen tool she grabs from the drawers).

 We're trying to show her how to color and not just eat the crayons.

 And she wants to be a big girl and help Mommy with whatever I'm doing - even taking out the garbage!

Sun is shining, time to do some planting!

 The kids all brought their own plants that they picked themselves to plant in the garden.  Maci picked watermelon and zucchini.

Basketball 2016

January - February 2016

Colby played basketball in Lemoore again this year.  He moved up a level, so he had practices 2 nights a week with games on Saturdays.  He loved it!

I took a lot of pictures during the season and they all turned out pretty terrible.  I need to work on my sports/action shooting.

 After the closing ceremonies, they had skills contests for all of the players.  Colby really wanted to participate.  He was the only one from his team that stayed to do it.  He was nervous but so excited.

Free throw contest:

 He won with 7/10!  He also did a skills contest and won that, too!

His skills earned him $40!!!  That was worth staying for :)

We took her pictures on her birthday.  Despite her being not happy about sitting still at all and squealing a lot, they turned out so cute!

She measures 22 lb. 6 oz.  30.25 in.

She is our happy, smiley girl!

If You Give a Hannah a Party

We celebrated our little Hannah today Laura Numeroff style.  I've always loved these books!

 At first, Hannah wasn't so sure...

But she quickly figured it out!

 Not much eating going on, just squishing!

 But the ice cream - I'll eat!

 Can't believe she's one!  We love our little Hannah girl.
