Halloween

My little monster.

Halloween was not on the forefront of my mind this year. So we used costumes we already had.

Ward trunk or treat and a neighborhood of houses. The kids got way too much candy. Guess thats the fun of halloween right?

Life, Fish.

When we went to pick up Damon from school the other day and I asked Jonas to put in his shoes this is what happened. Not a surprise. He has lost the opposite match to each shoe. I am in trouble.

When I

The boys on other night of fishing. The fish swallowed the bait so they brought him home. Damon was ecstatic. All he talks about when we go or bring up fishing is that he wants to eat a fish. They gutted and cooked it together. Damon and Jonas loved it.

 Newborns are the sleepiest.

Big Eyes, Finally, Fishing.

This little face. And big green eyes. Can't handle it.

We have been so blessed with such sweet giving people in our lives. Since we have been married most of our stuff is used, borrowed, or given to us. We have gone through a few used cribs, but never had a bassinet. We didn't really need one. Since this little guy is a little closer in age to Lyla than the rest of our kids were we knew we probably needed another solution for him. Our room is pretty small otherwise we would have just used the play pen like we did with the other kids. I have been looking on KSL for awhile and finally found one I liked. And it was one of the cheapest ones I have seen on there too. Win win.

Kyle has really started to enjoy fishing, and lucky for us there are many places to go within minutes of our house. Damon loves to go with him. We all went the other night and fished until the sun set.

BYU Game, Missionaries.

On Saturday Griff and Kyle went to the BYU game and got to meet LaVell. Jealous.

We had the missionaries over for dinner tonight. One of them just got here from Hong Kong. Kyle was so excited. They are such good missionaries. Fun to have them in our area.

Damon just figured out how to go cross eyed.  Oh the things he learns at school.

Fishing

Kyle and Damon have loved going fishing a few days almost every week. We went this morning to the Syracuse pond. It was nice to get out and take the kids for a walk in the fresh air. I have recovered so well and faster than with any of the other kids. Such a blessing.

Visit, Big Sis.

Sometimes we wonder why certain things happen in our lives. We can't see the ending, so it is easy to get confused and not understand the purpose.
One of the best things that ever happened to our family was moving to Nebraska to go to Law School. We had to move out of state to meet these wonderful people. Lara is so beautiful in every way. I am so grateful I got to be next door/wall neighbors with her for 3 years. I often wonder how we got so lucky. I have heard others say this, but it is the absolute truth for me. Those three years were the hardest and most wonderful years. It takes hard times to grow and become better. There is no improvement without conflict.  But God gives us tender mercies along the way. One of those for us is the Osmonds.
Lara was in town for a visit and came to see Levi on her way from Logan to Salt Lake. So fun to catch up and visit. We sure missed Griff though.

Sweet Teddy holding Levi.

These two are only a week or so apart in age. Benji is the most adorable thing. Arranged marriage?

Lyla sure loves this little baby. It has been a bit of a hard transition. She is barely 18 months and has now had a huge change in her life. But besides being too rough with him she truly is so attached to this little one. She always has to be by him, touching him, kissing him.

Such a patient little one.

Random

Sweet Mia lovin' on Levi.

Lyla is a jammie girl. If it was her choice she would never change. I am with her.

Two week old babe.

More awesome notes.

Reception, Wedding.

The reception was Thursday night in my parents back yard. I was there all Wednesday and Thursday setting up. This little man was an absolute gem. All he did was eat and sleep. I was able to get everything done and not feel super stressed. It actually went more smoothly than I remember any of the others going.

My whole world.

I have always loved having a big family and I love it even more as it is growing larger. These people are the best.

My blessings

These kids make me melt. Life is crazy with kids but some moments are just perfection.

Friday morning they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Weddings are rough for kids. But we are so happy Cambria and Ron are married! Everything was perfectly wonderful. Oh the joys of picture taking...and trying to hold the baby.
