regarding costumes:

• ILI DANIAH is to return her chinese costume top by TUESDAY the [15/8/06] LATEST.
• EMDD costumes are to be returned by TUESDAY the [15/8/06] as well. if not be prepared to face punishment.

regarding photos:

• Photos are only to be collected before dance practice from 2.30-3pm so please come early for dance and do so then.
• you can start collecting your photos from the 15/8/06 onwards.

Euraision dance girls:

• please remember your dismissal time from class that day and please inform your teachers when you're leaving.
• remember to get all your costumes prepared and make sure everythings in order so as not to have any mishaps.
• you will be excused form dance practice that day.
• anything you're unsure of please ask sheryl.

to ALL SYF DANCERS:

please note that you have dance EVERY FRIDAY unless otherwise stated. I do not want any excuse that you didn't know there's practice since it says so here on the blog schedule. i also added a calender for the notice board so that you can check for practice times and dates if your not sure. the blog and notice board are frequently updated to please check before you say you don't know there's practice. and if you're intending to back out can you please inform the teachers in charge as well as any of the comm members so we're informed.

• There will be NO DANCE on friday the 4th of August, due to Rapture as well as tuesday 8th of August due to National Day celebrations. dance resumes on the 11th of august.

• There will be SYF auditions on Tuesday [010806] so please attened if you want to be in SYF.
• Those STILL holding onto the chinese dance costumes. PLEASE return them by TUESDAY [010806] if not you're going to get into serious trouble.
• EMDD costumes need to be RETURNED by next Tuesday [080806]

And we've already implemented the level leader system, so if you cannot make it for dance practice or any other misc. matter, please inform your level leader so they can tell us during dance practice.

okay emdd is over now its time for book and music week practices! :)

- there are NO PRACTICES on Monday[170706] due to the fact that there is o level listening compre exams going on in school. so everyone is to GO HOME.

- for those who think that cca is suspended due to book and music week activites. you're WRONG. cos there is dance this TUESDAY[180706] so please remember to be in the gym, and there is chinese dance practice this tuesday as well.

- those involved in the BMW and Eurasian dance items, please remember to get your costumes and bring them on TUESDAY. for the eurasian and chinese dance items, Your technical rehearsal will be on thursday after school so please be present!

- all emdd girls are to DRY CLEAN their costumes and hand it in with the plastic sheet n everything, asap.

6) Dance Fund:
Dance Fund will be collected MONTHLY. at a rate of $2 per month. so those who haven't paid dance fund for the month of april, please pay a sum of $4 for april and may's collection, on tuesday.

7) CCA Photo taking day:
CCA Photo Taking Day will be held on the 25th of May. please be present and bring your Dance Shirts!

anw, danceworks practices, and emdd practices resume on friday
and everyone has to come for dance every tuesday. including the seniors. so please don't forget.

those who haven't paid the $80 for the instructor's fees, remember to pay ASAP.

cheerleading girls, there'll be a performance on the 18th march. (next saturday) and we're only doing the hello cheer. so girls w the boards please remember to bring them. we'll only be doing a short practice on that saturday morning before actually performing it that afternoon.

and there will be other dance practices during the holidays, ms nor will hand out the consent forms the following dance practice so you'll know the schedule then. :)

to the danceworks girls: as the previous post states, don't get disheartened. :) i know you girls have it in you and i KNOW you girls are gonna give it your all. its time to be determind, and work real hard for the finals okay! remember. cleanliness, and precision. and together with the attitude, we'd be awesome! take this as a learning experience, and a journey you'll never forget. :) because i know i would never. esp to the sec 4s. for some of you, its gonna be your last major event for this year! so give it your all okay! :) i know you girls can do it! and yep. dun care about those who say we can't do it. cos we know in our hearts WE CAN. and even if we don't. we'll still be happy. cos we know. we gave it our BESTEST BEST. and there's no reason to feel sad about okay! :)

ZENTIHians: hey!!! girls. pls don get disheartened okay? :) i mean everyone has their own opinion and i mean we cant stop them.. as zaki said, we are in this lose lose situation.and whether we win or not in the finals.. it doesn matter cause what we promised is just to give it our best right? girls.. its really not about the championship..its the experience that we gain okay? :) let others say what they wanna say.. cause as what zaki said" NO MATTER HOW GOOD A CHOREAOGRAPHER IS, ITS ALL UP TO THE DANCERS AND HOW THEY EXECUTE IT.WHAT A CHOREOGRAPHER CAN DO IS JUST THIS MUCH.THE REST IS UP TO US AS TO HOW WE DELIVER AND DANCE IT OUT" if ppl really know the real meaning of dance and all.they wont say that. zaki is very good and all of us cant deny that.but as he said so many times.. we may have the best or the most horrible choreographer..bu the bottom line is still the dancers and how they exceute it. :) so dont woryy. but we have to work really hard kayy? so that we know we have given our best and whether we win or not, doesn matter cause we know deep in our hearts that we have given it all.put in as much as effort as we possibly can and we are satsified...so lets work hard together!! :)

HEY GIRLS!
its 2006 and another ROCKING year of dance ahead for all of you! :)

the sec 1 auditions turned out to be a complete success!
so we have about 26 new members joining us this year, and it turns out we're going to have a second audition! so sec 1s interested please be in the gym on the 24th of Jan at 3pm. only 10 places available! :) and those selected come for practice on the 24th as well. :)

DANCEWORKS `06 competition is coming up real soon!
its on the 11th of Febuary 2006, 12.45pm-5pm, Ngee Ann City Plaza.
thats the details for the preliminary rounds, so if you all can, come down and give us support! :)
and we're the 25th team to be performing so you all can come at 2pm if you all dont want to watch the WHOLE thing. :)

practices have resumed and ALL [new and old] dance club girls have to come for dance practices on Tuesdays and dancework's girls, practices are on Fridays as well. :)
