Not very good today... I just couldn't get into the groove... and Carson woke up early again this morning. I wish I could run on the mornings he decides to sleep in. I need to his sleeping schedule in writing so I can run on the "late" mornings. :o) Oh well. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow...

I'm actually proud that I did 5 miles today. I was just going to do 3, but once I got going I did pretty good. As much as I LOVE to sleep, I think I do better in the morning on an empty stomach and empty bladder. :o)

4 Miles
Another 6 am call... but this morning I reminded myself how good I feel when I run. And I reminded myself why I'm running this next half. It wasn't so hard to wake up this morning! :o) I guess I need to have a cause every time I run. I probably should have just kept running until the kids woke up, but we're headed up to Logan today and my house is a DISASTER!! Do you think it's too early to vacuum? :o)

I hate mornings... but I always feel good when I'm done. I wish my brain could remember how good this feels at 6:00 in the morning.
Since we got the chicks yesterday, the kids were up at 7:00 ready to check on them and pet them and love them... TOO BAD! Mom has another mile to go... now it's time to give those chicks some love. :o)

5 Miles- In SUNNY St. George
I LOVE running in St. George!! It was BEAUTIFUL and warm and just lovely! I ran to the temple and then down the diagonal by John's parent's house... down by Brigham Young's winter home. It was pretty... did I mention WARM!!

4 Miles
(sigh)... Well, today was a lot different than last Thursday. Gracen was up at 7:00!! She usually sleeps until 8:30 sometimes 9:00. Oh well. I got 4 miles done. I really need to pick it up if I'm going to run a half on Memorial Day. That's only 7 weeks away!! I need to get with the program!

5 Miles
Not much to say today... just that I did it... I didn't want to, but I did it. I probably could have gone another mile, but I had a lot on my mind and I was STARVING. Those two things don't mix for me. :o) It's 8:00 and both the kids are still asleep. I probably could have gone another mile or 2... I could have also gotten another 2 hours of sleep. I'm not sure how to feel about those kiddos sleeping in. :o)

3 Miles
I took a 2 week rest... it's like I was starting over. I knew it would be like this, but I was hoping it would be a little easier. My weeks off started out because I couldn't walk (those hills get me every time!). Then Carson got sick, then I got sick, then I just got lazy. :oP But during my time off, I had a little voice in the back of my head saying "I GOTTA RUN!! I NEED TO DO IT!!" It feels good to have that voice. Even though I only did 3 miles today... I figure that's a good start after my break. :o) BACK ON TRACK!! I think I need to pay for my next race so I'll HAVE to train for it.
