VACATION!
It's been so nice and relaxing here in NY. I miss John and Gracen, but Carson and I are having fun. I watched the two little ones while Chy ran to a field trip. CRAZY!! If one wasn't crying the other one was. My arms got a work out. :o)On Saturday we went to High School Musical 3 for Sammy's birthday. It was pretty good! Carson slept through the whole thing. NICE!!On Sunday we carved Pumpkins (while listening to the traditional Oingo Boingo). I got to help Claire. She choose a Big Bad Wolf pattern and drew it out for me.Her's is the one on the left... GOOD JOB CLAIRE!These are our sweet kids this morning. It's been fun just nursing on the couch together and chatting... getting advice about raising kids... talking about the "Good Old Days". I sure love my sister! THANKS CHY!!

Hey Mom... know what?
In the past, Gracen has gotten into a lot of trouble for putting her own tooth paste on her tooth brush. Usually because she squeezes half the tube onto her tooth brush and her teeth are pink with it. This morning she came into the kitchen holding her tooth brush with a small dot of tooth paste she had put on herself. She was very nervous because she knows she's not suppose to do it, but then she said, "Hey Mom, know what? I just got a little tooth paste because my breff stinks. See... (holding her hand over her mouth... to check her breath... hhhaaa, hhhaaa)." How can you be mad at that. And who told her her "breff" stinks?

Things Gracen Says
I love how Chy can remember everything her kids say. I decided to write down a few of the things Gracen says... or at least said lately.
"Mom look... there isn't a whole moon, just a toenail moon. I guess the rest is hiding."
"Mom, can we keep Carson? He's kind of cute."
While we were in St. George she noticed the "D" up on the hill. When I explained it was for Dixie College she said "No it's not! 'D' is for Daddy!"
You can tell what movies Gracen watches by what she says. This word came from Lady and the Tranp... "Mom I have a surprise for you. They're VERY expensive." (she handed me some dandelions)
We were watching Jungle Book and at the end they have a little Music Video of the Jonas Brothers singing. She asked who they were. Later in the video she said "Look mom, they're Jonah's brothers and those screaming girls are Adam's sisters."

Tumbling Fool
Gracen started her tumbling class tonight. I think the most exciting thing for her was her little gymnastics suit. She opened the bag and said "Oh mom! I LOVE it... it's so soft!"
As soon as we got to the class she immediately made friends with a little girl named Cameron. They ran around together the whole class. STRETCH!!! (If you zoom in on her hand, she's rubbing her soft little suit.)
She learned a lot of stuff on her first night.
Somersaults...
Backwards somersaults...
Cartwheels, back-bends, front walk-overs, and flips. OK, so maybe they didn't learn them as much as they tried them. Mostly they ran around and tried not to run into each other.
