In 2 short months this little guy will be 1. Hard to believe and yet not. Eli's doing so much. In the space of a week he figured out how to stand by himself and walk with a walker. Now, 2 weeks later, he's taking steps. So far the most Eli's 's taken is 6 steps, but all he's done tonight is stand and try to walk, so I don't think it'll be too much longer before he takes off and then watch out Bailey!
For the last few months Eli's been sleeping horribly, waking multiple times throughout the night. We finally hit rock bottom earlier this week when he didn't go to bed until after 4:00. However, since then he's waking only once, drinking a bottle and then going back to sleep. We've had the best sleep this week than we've had in a long time. Hopefully, we've turned a corner and Eli continues sleeping like this (knock on wood).
At his last doctor's appointment (for his 9 month check-up), Eli weighed 23 pounds 10 ounces and was 24 inches long. He's definitely a chunker and has some major rolls on his upper thighs!
