Caitlynn Turns 4!!!!

February is a busy month for us! We have Valentine's day on the 14th, Caitlynn's Birthday on the 16th and my birthday on the 18th! This last Saturday we had a little birthday party for Caitlynn with her friends and family. Since we don't have a very big place we kind of did it open house style but we had a great turnout and it was a lot of fun! We got her the cutest little princess cake from target that she LOVED and we have been collecting presents for her since the after Christmas clearance sale. So She had tons of presents and she had a lot of fun! I know that I have only been in her life for a short while but I still can't believe she is 4!! Thanks to everyone that had a part in her day we love you all!

A fun day with the kids at temple square!

So last weekend we decided we needed to do something that got the kids out of the house and would be educational and free cause we don't have a lot of money to spend with the wedding coming up and everything :) So we figured that since the kids have been coming to church with us for the last year that it would be a good time to take them down to temple square and educate them a little about the temple because they hear us talking about going there to get "married". So we decided to make a day of it.. we drove down to Salt Lake, parked at the gateway and walked to the trax cause they have the free zone in downtown Salt Lake and the kids just think that it is so much fun to ride! So the kids had a blast on the train and then we got out and started walking around temple square and visiting the visitors centers. The kids LOVED it!!! They had so much fun going around to all the exhibits and hearing Denny and I tell them why we go to the temple to be sealed and the importance it has in our lives! Blake was a little older so I think he got a little more out of it but Caitlynn had fun to! All of the sister missionaries were so nice and had so many interesting facts that were new to all of us! We are so excited to go to the Salt Lake Temple this May and be sealed for time and all eternity and we hope that one day the kids can be Sealed to us as well. Well after a great day at the temple we rode the train back to the gateway and went and got some lunch at Applebee's ( I felt like such a horrible mom cause I didn't even realize how long we were gone and how long it had been since the kids had eaten until Caitlynn said.. 'My tummy is REALLY hungry" :( So I thought they deserved to eat out today) But hey just for the price of lunch and a dollar for parking we had an AWESOME day and I think they would love to do it again someday!

I love to see the temple.. We're going there someday..

Hey family!!! Great news!!! Me and Denny will be going through the temple to be sealed for time and all eternity on our first anniversary!! We are so excited and have been working very hard to get to this point in our lives. We know that we did things in the wrong order.. but we had to do what was best for our family at that point in time.. the important thing is, is that we have made it our goal and priorty to get to the temple because we know that is the only way that we can be together forever as an eternal family!! This is when we will be having our actual Wedding since when we legally got married we didn't have a celebration, so just a note to everybody to put May 1, 2010 on your calenders so that you can be there to celebrate our love for one another that day!! I'll keep you posted on the details!

Halloween is coming!!

So it is now 51 days until halloween and I'd like you all to know that our house was decorated with all of our halloween stuff exactly 55 days BEFORE halloween... :) Thats definatley a first for me but its Denny's favorite holiday and the kids and him just couldn't wait much longer to get them up, so I'm sure everyone at our apartment complex thinks were crazy but we just decided to blame it on the kids :) lol JK But we did have a nice Sunday afternoon decorating our house with all sorts of cute halloween stuff.. as for me.. I just can't wait for christmas!!!

Family Pictures

So on the last saturday of August we got our family pictures taken, and I have to say they turned out pretty cute!!! The kids did so good and we were so proud of them. It may have been because we bribed them with Mrs. Fields cookies and Orange Julius :) But they did amazing and we were very happy with how they turned out! Enjoy!!

And two months later...

Hey friends and family, sorry I have been so horrible on keeping our blog updated, we are having problems with our computer and the pictures so I need to find another way to update everything, I'm hoping it will be resolved quickly because my wonderful husband has been buggin me to update everything. So everything is well, the kids are great and we just love each other so much and we are so excited to be a family. Well keep in touch and hopefully get some more pictures up
