Happy Day - All Is Well!!
Since April 5th Kevin is back in the saddle in his chosen profession as a 3D processing and piping designer! Some good things take time - 15+ months! He now works in Airdrie for an international company. No commute to Calgary, a 30 minute walk or 5-10 minute drive!
We are so grateful for all the fasting, prayers, opportunities to volunteer and work that kept us going during the long drought! I'm so thankful for the great blessings and tender mercies that kept me working crazy insane hours and all the picked-up extra shifts! Looking back now, I know that we were carried, lifted, and inspired. Those who honor God - God honors! He is our kind, loving and eternal Father.

August 19 oh where oh where are the pictures
So many things have happened:
Sherry graduated from Bow Valley College and started working for Alberta Health
Andrew arrived home from his mission in Cameroon
Joel graduated from Bert Church High School
Jeff completed grade 9 and we're not sure how - but he's growing taller
Andrew started working for Action Auger as a plumbing technician
Dallin is loving his mission in Taiwan
Kevin is voluntarily servicing 300+ clients - Airdrie Provident Lifestyle Cooperative
Kevin & our friend/home teacher Brent are doing renovations
Joel has the summer of a lifetime.
The Kay family adjusts to Mom's shift work routine
The savings are almost gone...a drafting job for Kevin would be an amazing miracle
We've tried it all....maybe your prayers will make a difference?

too tired to blog
I admire all of you out there who are amazing bloggers.
Here are my excuses for a lame blog:
1. Not having a camera of my own
2. Having uncooperative family members who refuse photos
3. all work and no play....boring!!
4. computer time - hard to get in this male dominated family
5. tough times are better forgotten
6. I'd rather have clean laundry
7. I'd rather enjoy and get sentimental over your blogs!
8. I'm better at the face-to-face connections
9. It's just too time consuming.
10. I'm just not that entertaining - I'd rather be entertained!!
