This is my son's beautiful girlfriend, and I think I need to paint her more often. The reference photo was taken outdoors in soft, late afternoon light with some snow on the ground - really lovely lighting conditions. The icing on the cake of this portrait - the little skulls on her earrings. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed painting this one.
