I work for a pretty great company, and this year for the holiday party they flew us all out to Denver with a guest. So...Juan and I left Saturday morning, and got back Sunday afternoon. It was a quick trip, but it was fun! We stayed at a nice hotel-minus the 2:00 AM wake up from our drunken neighbors. Our hotel was right down town, so Saturday we walked around the streets and shopped and just spent some time with out kids! It was fabulous! My feet were swollen and after a few hours of walking I just stopped and told Juan I couldn't take another step. He assured me I would make it and we would just walk slow. I told him I wanted him to carry me and he said I was too chubby. haha
The party itself was...a company Christmas party. We sat at a fun table, but most of the crowd was a fairly drunken mess. Made for some good laughs though!

Baby Emerson's 3D ultrasound debut
We went yesterday and had a 3D ultrasound. I think it's safe to say Baby Emerson is adorable! He has nice chubby cheeks like his mama, and big full lips like his daddy. I am even more antsy now to kiss that little face! For the first part of the ultrasound he had his face pushed up right next to the placenta and the ultra sound tech told me most babies who do that are cuddly when they are born. Juan's eyes lite up when he heard this since he is such a cuddly guy! We are 7 weeks away from my due date and are so excited! Juan keeps telling me he wants a well done baby and hopes he comes out brown! We'll see.... it's apparent from the ultrasound already that the Anderson gene is very strong!

Halloween and Pablo's blankie
Make a Smilebox scrapbook |
We had a great Halloween! We went to my Moms and had ghost burgers and then took the boys trick or treating! My grandma also made Pablo a blankie! For any of you that know me..and if you don't..it's deep dark secret time.. when we were all kids my grandma made us all blankies made out of trico. It's like the fabric slips are made of.. and we all have loved these blankies! I still to this day sleep every night with a trico blankie (thank's Roo and Grandma!!) Pablo has always liked my blankie, and will try to sneak around with it and I panic because I don't share well. So Grandma finally made him his own and he couldn't be more proud! He hauled the stupid thing to preschool with him today. He is usually a grouchy mess in the mornings, but this morning not even one tear was shed because he had blankie! WOHOO!!

Halloween Party
This weekend we went to a Halloween party...costume party of course! Juan has never dressed up in his life, and I don't really love it. We were going to bag the party all together, but at the last minute found these fabulous Adam and Eve costumes at Wal-Mart and Juan was all about it!! The costume said one size fit most..so we purchased it and went home!
When we got home, we got the kids all dressed and ready to go, and then...I started to put on my costume. It felt tight, but I figured it was supposed to be sort of tight since it was supposed to look like skin. So Juan had to help me inch myself in to the costume. Then it came time to get it up over the gut area---no small task! FINALLY...we got it on..and boy did it look like skin! I felt like a pig in a blanket-but off we went! We only stayed about an hour because I, of course, am blessed to get terrible back pain with this baby!
We had a great time-and will post more pictures of our Trick-or-Treating adventures this weekend!

Baby Emerson...and more
We had our 21 week ultrasound a couple days ago. And I would just like to say Baby Emerson is darling....and perfect in every way! During the ultra sound he would not do many tricks much to his daddys dismay..other than lay with his hands above his head while he slept. This just so happens to be the exact way Juan sleeps, so he was VERY impressed with his son. Emerson is measuring perfect...REALLY long legs, and he, at this point, does not have the HUGE Anderson head most babies in my family have been so blessed with. Juan assures me my head is huge, and Emerson will have the same. I tell him he's wrong and should shut up! (That's crazy pregnant lady talk--more shut ups than usual these days!!) Then Juan tells me Emerson doesn't like his Mom to be rude so to stop. It's a daily talk we have!
The doctor said everything is normal with both of us...me being a moody mess-normal. My heart racing while doing stupid things like dishes-normal. Possibly freaking out at poor unsuspecting people-normal but not acceptable! =)
Emerson is still set to make his big debut January 30th, but he is measuring 2 weeks ahead so perhaps he can be early. I am going to ask about inducing..but not quite yet! Everyone says if I ask now the dr. will think I'm nuts!
We finally told the boys Mom I'm pregnant. She has been asking Juan weekly if not daily about my pregnancy status and Juan keeps lying. So last night in a pregnancy fit of anger, I called and made the announcement. She told me she didn't care, and I assured her she did otherwise she wouldn't be calling daily to check in on my life status. So...cat's out! Everyone knows!!
We are excited, and happy we can now talk to the boys about their brother. Alex said having another little brother will be a lot of work, and Pablo informed us he is still the baby. They're both in for a big surprise!! We took them with us to the ultra sound appointment, Pablo said he will be hitting Emerson when he's born, and Alex told the ultra sound tech to tell Emerson not to bite me. Then Alex said Pablo, we can't hit him until he's older. I informed them both if he had any of his moms genes, he would be bigger than both of them and they probably should make no plans of hitting him period because they would get a beat down from brother. Oh kids!!
So, all in all, we're still alive and well. Pablo and I are in a close race for moodiest mess....he might be winning! I can't wait for 3 to be over!
Anyways..that's it! Oh..we're moving to Murray Sun. to another apartment for hopefully only a few months and then we'll buy a house. Pray for us! I am sick and tired of apartment living!

Our baby boy!
The pictures are kind of dark and hard to make out what is going on--but little Emerson is darling already! The ultra sound tech informed us he is well endowed and "definitley not a white boy!" Juan couldn't be more proud! We are so excited to finally see our litte boy, and not just a peanut! I will get another ultra sound in 4 week, and the ultra sound tech said there will be so many changes--I can't wait!

Christmas Miracle
I think Christmas has come early this year...or late. For the last 2 years Juan and I have been in a NASTY custody battle for his 2 little boys. We have been on an emotional roller coaster that has never let us off! We have been through so much in the last 2 years, and now...it just might all be worth it.
A few days agin the boys Mom called and said she had some health problems and wanted to give Juan full custody of the boys. We have been down this road before with her-and have always fallen for it. We have been tricked every time! Juan played along with her, and told her flat out he did not believe on thing out of her mouth. He said he would not do anything unless there was a signed court order.
Thursday she called again and still voiced the same....she wanted Juan to have full custody and she would be willing to pay child support and whatever else we needed. We still both doubted her, and told her to call our attorney if she was serious. Friday rolled around....she called me and said she was still serious and hadn't been able to reach our attorney. I told her our attorney couldn't talk to her-but that he could get the papers together that needed to be signed by her and Juan to make everything legal. So I immediatley got in touch with our attorney and scurried around and he pulled together the necessary paperwork. Last night, again, she called. She said she wanted to meet up with Juan today to get the papers notarized and signed and to exchange the boys. Juan was more excited than a little boy on Christmas morning. I still was doubtful, but tried to be a little excited with Juan. Juan made her promise not to lie about this as it would just rip his heart out if she was joking about this. She assured him she wasn't lying, and that she was serious.
So this morning again she called. She and Juan set up a time to meet today at the bank to get things notarized. She said I could come, but only to wait in the car. So, we arrived at the bank...I was still sure she wouldn't show..but she was there before us. Juan and the boys and her went in to the bank and half hour later they all walked out with signed papers in hand!!!!!
We took the boys, and Juan called her as we were leaving and she said she forgot to tell him she was going to call and cancel all child support Monday, and tell them she now needs to pay.
I am still pretty much in shock! Papers are signed...all that needs to happen now is a judge has to sign off on the final order and we're done. The next month or so is going to be difficult as we whip these boys back in to shape. At least Pablo is potty trained now!!
Going in to this mess, I had a blessing that said that in the Lords time this would all work how it should. I never understood that...but I think I might get it now.

Memories
{Memory Lane}
I've seen this on a few blogs, & I want to play! Please play along. Or I'll feel stupid. Really, really stupid..
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.
If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
*I stole this from some friends blogs, but I think it's fun!**
Not 1 pound!
I went to the doctor Thursday for a little checkup. I was so nervous to go because my belly is growing, and I am scared about gaining too much weight. I got on the scale with the nurse closely monitoring my every move, nervous as could be, and she said oh great, you haven't even gained a pound! I said oh good! I told her I had a friend who told me that if I gained more weight than what the dr. said they would judge me. She laughed and tried to assure me it wasn't true!
The doctor let us hear the heart beat and said everything is going great! We scheduled an appointment for August 15th to find out if it's a boy or girl! We can hardly wait!!

Feeling much better!
Last time I posted I was a mess! I was so sick! I thought it was morning sickness, and swore that if it was I would not have another child-only adopt! I couldn't believe it! It was horrible! I left work early the day I was really sick, and called Juan on my drive home. He was less than sympathetic as I cried to him. He said to go to the dr. and I said he didn't know what he was talking about. I then called my Mom and I'm pretty sure I sobbed! She said it was just a flu bug, and to go home and get some rest.
I did just what the Nana ordered-and felt much more human the next day! So-thank the maker-it was not morning sickness. It was the flu-so I am backing to feeling pretty good. Little upset tummy here and there but nothing terrible.
I am just finishing up my first trimester, and the chub is just beginning. It's great when I see Juan after work everyday and he says "Hi-uh--I think the baby is growing." And I insist that means he is telling me I'm fat. haha He then follows it up with "but mama, it's ok--it's the baby." Sweet sweet Juan! haha I can hardly wait for the maternity clothes to be a necesity! That will be pretty awesome--NOT! My Aunt Debbie swears by them-so I'll give it a shot. I want to insist I can just get through this entire pregnancy rubberbanding the button on my pants together-Juan insists otherwise because apparently that will smoosh his baby. =) I am definitley ready to get pregnant chubby and not just appear like I've been eating too many donuts. I swear-I don't eat donuts!
Anyways, things are good! Everyone is feeling better and we're fat and happy. Couldn't ask for much more!
We have a custody hearing on July 10th for Juan's boys. Could be interesting--say some prayers for us please!

Sick as a dog!
I am sure this is me today--sick as a dog! So far in this pregnancy, I have felt nauseaus, but that's about it. I only threw up once--but the last 2 days have been HORRIBLE!!
Yesterday I wasn't able to eat much because of the worst stomach ache ever. And this morning I was able to wake up bright and early to barf and some other gross things before work. I managed to get a shower, throw my hair in a clip, and get to work, but I feel horrible!
I hope this sickness stuff goes away soon-because it is awful!

It's a girl!
Just kidding! I don't know what I am having yet--but I do know for sure for sure that I am pregnant! I am 8 weeks along, and my due date is January 30th.
We had our first doctor appointment this morning and it was pretty standard. Pee in a cup, take my blood, feel my boobs and belly, ultrasound, and send me on my way. I was able to hear the baby's heart beat and see the little bean on the ultra sound machine. They even sent me home with some pictures! I told the doctor I didn't really know for sure when my last period was so I could get an ultra sound! It was very exciting, and when I heard the heart beating so quickly I just burst in to tears!
So..it's for real...we are having a baby...and couldn't be more excited!

WWE Wrestling
Yesterday Juan and I went to see a local WWE wrestling event. It was a good time for people watching more than anything else. The fellow above is only one of the many fine fine attendee's at the event. Mullets everywhere! I told Juan it was mostly inbred white trash, or Mexicans in attendance. Let's just say Juan and I were probably the nicest dressed...mainly because neither of us had mullets or a pony tail.
It was fun--something I hope to never have to repeat again in this lifetime, but Juan and I enjoyed ourselves none the less!

Old People
So most of you know I am pregnant. And most of you also know that I am a complete grouch at times. Pregnant or not--I have a grouchy streak at times! So this week has been the worst week thus far of baby sickness, and I think I am not dealing with it well. My mom always told me as a kid, when I am sick I look liked I "have lost my last best friend."
So today I forgot my lunch, and had to run to Harmons to find something to feed myself and the child. I was walking down this isle, I'm sure I had a frown on my face because I have been near barf all day for about 4 days now. Not cool! So I see this old lady down the isle a bit, and she is heading straight for me. Mind you, I wore a skirt today because it can handle my increasing chub. So, she starts to get closer and I try to step out of the way. She gets her cart right up next to me, nearly running right in to me, and then she herself gets very close to me and says "You've got great looking legs." I wasn't real sure what to say, so I said gosh, thanks as she quickly whisked by me with her basket leading the way!
Ok so, I admit it might have made my day because I feel so yacktastic today--but old people think I have nice legs. Thanks to that old lady--crazy or not--I love her!

For follow up
Shortly after our initial phone converstation, Juan called me to tell me he had told his step dad and everyone in his office about our big news! I told him I had told everyone too! So much for not telling anyone yet! hahaha
Just for the record-baby is the size of a sesame seed at this point and Juan calls it Apple Seed.
Holy crap holy crap!
So, Juan and I have been tossing around the idea of having a baby for the last 9 months. We have been trying, and nothing has been happening! About 2 months ago, I went and saw a nutritionist. She told me since having my galbladder out 2 years ago, it was most likely making my thyroid not function right and causing me to have issues getting pregnant. I started taking a really low dosage of thyroid medication.
Well, about 2 weeks ago I started to start feeling pretty hungry. I brushed it off as pre-period eating. Then some other symptoms came on...and no period in sight. After some convincing, I took a pregnancy test at work. I called Juan from the bathroom and made sure he was sitting down. I told him I thought I was pregnant because I was in the bathroom, had taken a test, and it was positive! He said holy crap holy crap and do not tell anyone! So I hung up the phone and ran in to my office. I shut the door to my office, and my face was bright red. The girl I share with said um..are you ok. I said I need to tell you something. She said you're pregnant aren't you!!!!!! I pulled out the stick I had just pee'd on and showed her! She jumped up and down and told me to call the dr. ASAP!!
I could barely pick up the phone because I was freaking out! I eventually got a dr. appointment made (not for 3 weeks though!!!! Craptastic!!) The dr's office told me based on my last period I was 5 weeks (5 1/2 weeks now)
I then proceeded to call my sisters, mom, dad, and sent out a text to my close friends. Holy crap holy crap!
I can't believe it! We are so excited for what is to come! Our little family is growing, and we are nervous but so excited!

I got a fancy surprise!
Juan's Aunt gave me diamond ring!! Mexican culture is when a family member gets married, the boys family pays for everything. So, his one aunt was in charge of the rings! So-Juan's Mom let me have it on Sunday! It's pretty-I want a big big one because I'm a diva like that-but for now I sure do like it!
Juan's family loves me-I think I am the favorite daughter for sure! Juan's Mom told me on Mothers Day that she loves me so much becaue I am a good mom to Alex and Pablo and that I take such good care of her son. (In Spanish of course-I translated it for you all!) It made me feel good! Sometimes when I think I am quite possible the worst step mom ever-I am reminded that maybe I'm not too bad! Being a Mom is hard work-but it's worth it! I hope one day the boys will grow up and say I was a really mean Mom who made them turn into great men. Cross your fingers!!

American Idol
This morning I stopped at the local grocery store on my way to work. There happens to be a small cafe in this grocery store. As I was leaving, I passed by the cafe and there were 4-5 OLD men sitting at the table sipping on their coffee. I could overhear them talking, so I started to walk slower. I overheard this.
Old man " Yea, that David really needs to show more emotion--he is to karoke like."
These old men were discussing American IDOL! I almost laughed, so I sped up my pace and walked out to my car with a giant grin! I bet those geezers will be at Murray High School today in hopes of meeting their IDOL!

Oh, the joys of kids!
Ok so my sister, Maranda, called me the other day. She has 3 boys, the oldest is 7. He is extremely smart and not in the slightest funny ever. She recapped a conversation her and the 7 year old son had had the night before. She prefaced it with “When my kids ask me about uncomfortable topics it’s always my goal to not act uncomfortable so they won’t feel weird talking to me.” I knew this was going to be good!
They were watching TV together, and a show came on that had a little girl with a training bra. My nephew, Riley, was confused and the conversation went as follows:
Riley: Mom, what is a training Bra?
Maranda: Well, it’s the first bra a little girl gets.
Riley: Oh well, did you have a training bra?
Maranda: Yes, my first bra was a training bra.
Riley: Oh….hmm…well what is a bra for?
Maranda: Well, it’s to support a girls boobs.
Riley: (As he lifts up his shirt to demonstrate) Boys don’t need bra’s because their boobs don’t stick out like CRAZY ANIMALS.
SILENCE
Riley: No seriously Mom, your boobs stick out like CRAZY ANIMALS.
My sister burst into laughter shortly after, as Riley kept a completely puzzled look on his face. My sister thought maybe he’d say balls, or balloons—but crazy animals was far beyond what she'd expected!
Oh the joy of kids!

I hate school!
I just want to go to school!!! I have been working and working, and finally only have ONE semester of school left. I was hoping to finish everything up with summer classes, and be finished in August. But--I found out today that I would only be allowed to pay my tuition in 2 payments rather than the usual 4 payments or so.
So, since I have 2 kids, a lawyer to pay to keep those 2 kids, car payment, bills, etc. it looks like school will have to be put on the back burner for now. Hopefully by August I can come up with enough $$ to pay for my last semester!
I hate it--I just want to be done!!!
Good news!
Well, good news-pink eye is cleared up! Bad news...I can't wear my contacts for a few more days. Then I realized I used my last pair of contacts when I had pink eye-so I have to re-order more! So it's going to be like another full week of wearing glasses. I hate my life!!
The last couple days my friend and I have been going to the park at lunch and walking around to get a little exercise. It is amazing! It's been beautiful out and it's so nice to get out of the office for a few minutes!
I had my first real month at work where I was able to make a decent commission-and I am happy to report I bonused about $700--just a tiny bit under! I will collect on my bonus at the end of May. My boss told me next month will be even better because I have my portfolio up and going now! Very exciting!
So--that's all for now I think!

Pink Eye
I woke up this morning-only to find I could not open one eye! It was glued shut with eye goop. I spent all yesterday with water and goop running out of my eye, and thought it was just my contacts. Well...unfortunatley..it's Pink Eye!
I am working from home today so as not to infect all my co-workers! I will be off to the doctor this afternoon to get some medicine. YUCK!

Our weekend get away!
This weekend Juan and I went to California for a quick trip! Saturday his family was having a get together-so that was our incentive to head to California! It was a quick trip, but we had a great time! Juan's cousin who is in charge of buying his suit for our wedding took Juan to get sized for his suit and pick out a vest and tie to match. It was very exciting! We also got to spend some time shopping in downtown LA at the flea markets (no, not the cool ones-these are the ghetto ones) But we had a great time regardless, and enjoyed spending some time together! Last Saturday night we went to my sister's in Vegas, and got to spend all day Sunday with her little family. Her little family is darling, and my sister amazes me in so many ways.
We flew home yesterday evening, and were back to real life today! It's nice to get away for quick trips now and then, but coming home is always amazing!

I'm pretty proud of my brother!
My brother is starting his own clothing line!! Go to his website!
www.bigjindvrs.com
He is designing shirts and tank tops for now, and in the future he will add more items to the line! I am really proud of him! We had kind of a rough childhood, and my brother has made really great things happen for himself. He's taught me alot about perservering, standing up for myself, and making things I want happen!
So...you should go log on to his website and buy some stuff!

Nana got a WII!
My Moms birthday is today, but we celebrated yesterday! Nana's one birthday wish was to get a WII! SO...my sisters and brother sent some money, and it was my job to locate the WII! THis was no small task I might add!
After many many calls to the local Walmarts I still came up empty handed. I finally found a brand new WII on KSL.COM! So I ended up buying the WII from some punk teenage that buys 28 at a time, and sells them for a tiny bit more than he buys them for and makes a profit.
My Mom came down yesterday, and she opened her present! She was very very surprised, and extremely happy!! She didn't think she would get her birthday wish, but alas, her children saved the day!
After her present opening, we went and had pedicures. It was great! We just chatted, and caught up, and had so much fun. Afterwards, we went to my mother in laws apartment where a fiesta was in the works for my sister in laws birthday. The fiesta included a traditional Mexican soup, Tres Leche Cake, and of course, a pinata! My Mom was a great sport and stayed for most of the excitement!
I love that my mom lives close enough that we can have Saturday excurisions-birthdays or not! I love my Mom more than anything, and am truly blessed to have an amazing woman in my life like her!

Our new car!
Well, we did it! We bought a new car! We traded in the Altima and bought something more family friendly. Juan was hoping for a Grand Caravan (hahah j/k) He said we're Mormons and should just buy a mini van! Much to his dismay (j/k), we bought a cute red Nissan Pathfinder, and I think it's safe to say we love it! Alex and Pablo thought it was pretty awesome! Pablo was mostly excited that his car seat was already in it when we brought it home to show the boys! He just kept saying "Yea, my seat!! my seat!!" For anyone looking for a new car, I would highly recommend Ken Garff..they took great care of us!
Also, this one is for you mom..even though she may never read this...I took out my nose bedazzlement! Juan informed me yesterday that I am so beautiful and don't need a sparkle in my nose, and quite frankly I was tired of getting boogers on it! Sick I know, but it's the complete honest truth!

We moved!
It's true..we moved on the 15th of this month. And I think it's safe to say we love our new apartment. I wish it was a house, but as far as apartments go it's pretty great! I bought a couch and love seat this week, as well as a dining room table and 4 chairs. We are also gettng a washer and dryer in the next little bit too! I feel so big!
We are happy to be moved, and are loving Riverton! We are hopefully going to buy a house out in that area at the end of the summer.
Things for us, other than moving, are just the same! I love my new job, and Juan is enjoying his job.
The boys are doing ok..we haven't seen them much. Their mom is just a joy! Uck...she is such a joke! I can't find one kind word or thing to say about her! We were supposed to have them for Easter and she never showed up with them. I sure hope that this game and wild ride we're on ends soon. It's getting old!

Kid's Mom...Uck!
Well in true crazy person form..the kid's mom has once again thrown us for a loop! We met with a mediator on a Friday, and were to get all the paperwork signed and turned in to the court on the following Wednesday. The kids mom called me Wednesday and said " I am not going to sign anything, not going to cancel the $800 X month child support case..nothing..I don't want to settle because I want the money and that's what matters!" I calmly proceeded to tell her what a jerk she was, and it was apparent she had no concern for the welfare and well being of her children. She said "So what! I don't care!!" She then proceeded to tell me she will be taking us back to court, and I said oh ok great. She is a jerk!
I am trying to find a soft spot in my heart for this ignorant woman, but am finding it harder and harder.
That night the bishop from church came over randomly and talked to Juan and I for a long time about trials, and why we never know why we have to go through them but what stronger people come from difficult trials. Juan and I both felt really defeated, and heart broken because we had made up our minds not to see the kids again until we have court orders.
So, right after the bishop left the mediator from Friday called me. I told him the Mom had changed her mind, and we didn't know what else to do. He said he could not give me legal advice, but that we should turn the paperwork in with out the moms signature. He said it can go to ways-either the judge just signs off on what we all agreed to, or the judge will call for a hearing. Either way-it won't be a bad option I guess. So Juan and hurried and got the mediator paperwork together, along with some other documentation, and I turned it in to the court this morning. The mediator, as well as the court clerk, told me we should know something in about a week.
So...please pray for us, and the boys! We need these court orders so badly! We need to put a stop to the games their Mom insists on playing! I know that in time, this will pass and it will all work out, but for now it sure sucks!!

Mediator Appointment
Well...we did it! I have Carmen on my side, and Juan does whatever...and we all sat down with a mediator on Friday! And...I am happy to report it went blissfully well! No yelling, screaming, blaming, fighting...nothing! Carmen agreed on everything, and we got everything out in the open. We have finally reached a resolution and I think we can finally find peace in our lives. Carmen told Juan that if the kids are sick, or have functions at school she wants me to come because I am a part of their life also. She agreed to everything we presented her with, and we did the same. We all agreed that this is for the boys, not the adults involved. Those boys mean the world to everyone involved, and we need to grow up and realize that! Carmen has made such a turn around, and become a different person in the last month. And I also, have changed so much in regards to her. I think somehow my Heavenly Father has softened my once heardened heart towards that woman. I have been able to be kind and gentle with her, rather than angry and hateful. I know that with God all things are possible, and I truly know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is guiding our little family. I also know that Heavenly Father is so aware of my little family, and most importantly me.
So, in about a week or so, if things go as planned, we should have actual legal documentation of what was agreed upon at our mediation appointment! Juan said there will be a large dinner to celebrate the momentous occasion!

Walmart
So since my husband was out of town last night, I felt like a trip to Walmart was necessary! I love going to Walmart to just walk around, watch the people, and check out the housewares. Last night, as I casually strolled alone some isles, I found one isle that had a lone Walmart employee pretending to work. I approched quietly, apparently too quietly because at the same time I walked behind the woman she farted as she bent over. I giggled as I walked behind her, and I quickly scooted off that isle and on to the next.
God bless Walmart and their flatulating employees!

New job, kids, and all
About a week and a half ago I started a new job. The old job got, well, old! I was offered more $$, and I was out! Thus far I love the new job. It is a small office, and everyone kind of keeps to themselves, and it is blissful!
The kids are doing well! Their mom and I have become "friends." I use the term loosely due to her mental condition--she is my friend one day and hates me more than life the next. She told me my face was stupid the other night-I can't figure out of it's a translation error or her being rude. I just let it slide because she is nuts! I am trying to be kind and nice..which you all know is sometimes a bit hard for me! But I really am trying for the sake of those beautiful little boys! We weren't able to take them last weekend, and their mom told me Pablo (the little one) walked around all weekend long saying "Mama no?" So he was sad we didn't get to see them, and we were of course sad too! We are going to meet with a mediator tomorrow and hopefully get court orders. Juan and the kids mom have agreed not to talk to eachother ever again because they are too angry at eachother and say stupid things. So I have agreed to be the go between to cut the stupidness. I'll keep you all posted on the custody situation!
Juan succesfully ate a hamburger as large as his head last night. He had to go to Rexburg, ID for work, and called to tell me he had completed this task and was rewarded with his picture taken and put on the wall. SICK I KNOW! He told me he felt so sick he could hardly walk, but he had accomplished it! I wasn't as impressed as he thought I would be.
Things, all in all, are pretty great! We are moving to Riverton on the 15th, and are excited!
For now...that's all!

Juan is Home!!
So for those of you who didn't know, my cute husband went to Mexico last Thursday to visit his family. His Grandparents are getting really old, and are in poor health, and he wanted to be able to see them before they passed on. So..he went for a quick 4 day trip! He spent time with his cousins, and his grandparents, and met lots of family he didn't know he had. His little brother and cousin who live here, are there right now also getting work Visas. So they were able to have some guy time! He brought back 2 videos of his trip, and it was definitley eye opening. I take for granted everyday the amenities I have to make life comfortable. As I sit here on my computer, and hear my washer and dryer humming, and my TV blaring.. I am spoiled! We are going to try and get some things in order to send a bunch of items to Juan's Mexico family. I was talking to my sister last night about what they needed, and she put it perfectley--"They need Walmart Items!" Juan had such a hard time leaving his Mexico family. It was hard for him to realize he used to live in the same conditions, and now, compared to them, has a really lavish life style. We are so blessed to have what we do, and are greatful every day for what we have.
**I am blog retarded, and don't know how to label my pictures..the first one is Juan's grandma, then Juan's Dad's parents, a picuture of Juan's Dad when he was a soldier, and then Juan and his cousins. **

Our new apartment
Juan and I put down a deposit on a new apartment yesterday. We have been trying to buy a house, but things just aren't working out quite yet. And we are so tired of driving from Ogden everyday we could barf! So..last weekend we set out on a hunt for a new apt. for the summer.
I told juan the conditions to us getting an apartment were:
1. Not in Mexiville
2. Had to have washer/dryer or at least hook-ups so he could buy me a set
3. Had to have a pool so I can swim with the kids
4. Needs to have a fitness center so we don’t get fat
5. I have to feel safe being home alone
So, we finally found an apartment in Riverton. It's big enough for all of us, and in a nice area.
So yesterday Juan asked if all the conditions are met with the new apt. I said yes, I think we’re good!

Wedding Plans
So...as some of you might know...we are planning a wedding! When Juan and I did it the first time we eloped in Vegas! No family, no pictures...nothing! Just us, and some crazy Vegas preacher man married us in the little chapel of the flowers. So--a year and a half later-we are having a party! Juan and I are going to go through the temple on July 19th, and after we are having the reception we never took the time to have!
I love this cake! I stumbled on this website one day (onesweetslice.com), and found the most amazing cake decorator ever-and she happend to be in UTAH! So, I scheduled a cake tasting appointment with her! I told her I pretty much want this cake-or something very similar. I'm excited!
We picked out our invitations on Monday, and since I loved the pink and brown ones-I decided the reception colors will be pink and brown. Planning a wedding is hard work-but I think it will be fun to have the actual party! We can't wait!

Juan is growing up!
So my cute husband got the priesthood yesterday. To some of you this is no big deal, but to us it was really exciting! Juan has changed so much since we got married, for the better! He has turned into this really amazing man that I always knew he was. I am so proud of him, and am excited for our future!
Our family
We had the boys this weekend! We had a great time! Juan took them sledding on Saturday with my Dad, while I got my hair did.
