2 Cards In One Post!

I made two different cards in the last two days and only have the ambition to make one post!

This first card is for Pixie Dust Studio's Challenge called "Tag You're It!". You had to include a tag on your card. The sentiment says "Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain"...here she is:

The second card is for MelJen's Challenge: "For The Little Ones". It's a baby card. The sentiment says "Welcome to the new King of Your Jungle!". I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday's Challenge #100 for this card as well!

My Second Post in One Day!!

I got this pretty image last week for Free from the Wild Flower Patch group on PCP!! How exciting is that? I used the image to make this card which fits into 3 different challenges:

My New Phabulous Phindy Image!

I went shopping last night about bought myself 2 Phindy images!!!

I used this one for a card to enter in the Phindy Challenge this week along with the Papertake Weekly Sketch Challenge! I hope you like it....

A new card and a few challenges!

Well, I have finally gotten the time and energy to finish another card and this one fits into four different challenges....here it goes:

1.) Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge - This is their Birthday week, you got to pick any of their sketches, I chose Sketch #9.

2.) Corrosive Challenge - Paper Piercing - This is tricky to see and didn't come out in the picture so well but the top, near the flourishes, there is paper piercing....really, I promise!

3.) Pile It On! - Spring! - What's more spring like than rainy days?

5.) Phindy's Challenge #2 - Use Ribbon - That was easy peasy!!

Pollycraft Monday and another Phor Phindy's Phirst Challenge!

Ah-ha! I found another card to use for Phindy's Phirst Challenge!! I decided to make this one a thank you card for my friend for inviting us to dinner! I used the sketch from Pollycraft Monday's Challenge!

Pixie Dust Studios Challenge

This week, Pixie Dust Studios has a challenge to use Green as the main color for your card. They also had this sweet pea image....FOR FREE!!! WOO HOO!!

Here is my card...the sentiment says "Congratulations on your new little sweet pea!" - it didn't show up so great in the picture!

Friday Sketchers Challenge #98 and another entry for Phindy's First Challenge

I used the sketch from Friday Sketcher's Challenge #98 to make a second card for Phindy's First Challenge! Hey, they say you can enter 5 times and I want that prize!!!

This adorable little mouse is being a little hoggish but he's looking pretty sweet sitting on that strawberry cake! Don't you think?

Phindy's First Challenge and Sketch Saturday

Phindy's Challenge Blog has posted their first challenge and it's an easy one....Anything goes! Yeah.....AND....you can enter up to 5 times (so I'm sure you'll be seeing a few more Phindy cards here soon). I combine this challenge with Sketch Saturday's Challenge #99. This was pretty funny since I had a sketch in mind (with lots of circles) right before I checked out their sketch. It was so similar that I decided to use theirs so I could enter into 2 challenges with this one card!

Pollycraft Monday and Sketch Girl

When I first saw what Pile It On had for their challenge this week, I thought, "nope, no way, can't do it"! Well, then I started thinking. I looked at the other challenges, looked for some quotes, and thought some more. Unfortunately, I never got around to posting this in time and now I have missed Pile It On's Challenge, oh well, such is life....but, here is what I came up with:

A Whole Lotta Challenges Going On!

Hello! I started working on this adorable FREE digi last night....isn't she just the cutest little thing? Well, when I found her at Pixie Dust Studios I was so excited. Then I started looking for challenges to use her for and I came up with quite a few. Here we go.....

1.) The Corrosive Challenge - #59 - textures - With the bumpy glitter papers, the smooth as glass button, the ribbed ribbon, and the raised sentiment, there are plenty of different textures on this card!

2.) Cupcake Craft Challenge - #86 - Childhood Memories - I remember my grandmother letting us play in the rain at her house (why do Nana's always let us get away with more than our Mom's did?). We all loved it! This image made me think of those days and the sentiment on the inside went perfectly with my memory!

3.) Digital Tuesday Challenge - #54 - Paper Piece With Digis - This girl took my 3 printings. I used white cardstock for her skin, hair, and the umbrella handle. The coat, umbrella, and boots were done with 2 different glitter papers (a little tricky to print on). I didn't realize how detailed she was until I started cutting her all apart to put her back together!

4.) Papertake Weekly - Cutie Pie - Well, she is adorable isn't she?

5.) Cute Card Thursday - # 108 - Touchy Feely - My daughter loved feeling the different textures on this card, though she also wanted to twist the button off!

6.) A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge - #99 - Nikki's Sketch - I followed this sketch for the card!

Well, I never thought I'd get this card done! I've been busy and it has taken me 3 days but it's done!! Then when I finally finish it, I realize my camera is MIA (probably on the job site with my boyfriend). Soooo, this one got scanned in on my printer, not too bad!

Okay, this card is for 2 challenges:

1.) Sketch Saturday #98 - I had to shift a few things a little bit but it is basically the sketch.

2.) Mo's DP2 Challenge - #26 - must have black, white, and kraft (and any other color).

I found something new!!

I'm pretty excited! While I was looking around on the Paper Craft Planet, I found a group for Meljen's Designs. They had some adorable free digis and some exciting news....they have a brand new challenge blog and design team! I got to join in on their blog hop and got a bunch of freebies along the way!!!

The first challenge for Meljen's Designs Design Team and Challenge blog was for "Anything"! That was pretty simple, especially since I got a bunch of free images to play with!!

I added two more challenges to the mix. Cute Card Thursday's Challenge #106 is called "So Egg-citing". We had to make an Easter card or a card with an egg shape or oval on it. The sentiment and image are both in ovals, so there you go! Finally, I used the sketch for Sketch Saturday's Challenge #97. Hope you enjoy the card....I made it a "welcome baby" card for my soon to be born "brother in law"!

Mo's Digital Challenge & Friday Sketchers #96

This week, Mo's Digital Pencil has a challenge to use Pastels. That was simple enough. I combine that challenge with sketch #96 from Friday Sketchers. I think that it came out pretty well, what do you think?

I usually have some trouble doing "boy-ish" cards so I try to do more of them, that makes no sense I know!! Anyway, I thought this image from The Wild Flower Patch would work well for a "guys" birthday card! I used some masculine-ish papers and here's what I came up with!!

A new card, a bunch of challenges, and an exciting announcement!!

Hello Everyone!! I have a lot to post today but it will go quickly, I promise!!

Okay, lets start with the card..... I think it came out pretty darn cute! The whole thing started out with the new challenge over at Phindy's Place on Paper Craft Planet. The challenge is to make a baby card using a Phindy image, use pastels, some part of it has to be 3D, and add a button!! Okay, this was a little tricky, however, I managed to do it and combine it with four other challenges!

Pile it On!'s challenge #13 was to make an Easel card, this was not too difficult to incorporate!

The third challenge that this card qualifies for is the Pollycraft Monday challenge. For their Challenge #38, you can make anything! That was a REALLY easy one to fit into this card!!

Cupcake Craft Challenges has the challenge of making your own flowers for Challenge #85. My quilled flower on the corner of my image covers that (as well as the 3D portion of Phindy's challenge).

Finally, this card qualifies for the Sketch Girl Challenge #15, which is sponsored by Phindy this week! I used the sketch for their challenge on the front of this easel card!

Now, on to the exciting news! I am very excited about Phindy's New Challenge blog!! This new challenge blog will begin in less than one week (on Monday)!!! To help promote the new blog and the new design team, Phindy will have one new, unreleased Phindy Digi stamp that will be randomly given away for each 50 followers to the blog. So far there is only one new image in the drawing, lets all follow the new blog so there are even more prizes given away at the opening!!!
