Here is the real update on my little family.
Cory just got a new job with Burton Lumber. He doesn't have to work 18 hour days, they give him medical benefits and a work truck. Best. Thing. Ever. I'm still working up at Discover, but my days there are numbered. Hopefully. Shhhh, don't tell. :-) We are living out in Daybreak at the apartment complex out there. We love it. It's a great location even though I feel like we live halfway to Narnia.
Now for the kiddos. They are the ones you want to hear about anyway. Milo is the silliest, sweetest, most adorable kid ever. He's just really started to talk, and he has taken to telling you what's on his mind. For example, the other day we were in the car, and randomly from the backseat I hear,"hippopotamus! Hippopotamus swimming in the water. Hippopotamus eats hay." Alrightly then. I just love him. He is the sweetest little boy. He's always very concerned for his sister. He is the first one to tell me Mikayla is crying, and he loves to get her the binki and toys. He loves cars (both the toys and the movie), animal noises, and recently started loving books. He's getting so big!
Mikayla is amazing. I said the whole time I was pregnant that I was terrified to have another one, because no baby could be as good as Milo was. Well....she's even better. She completely skipped the colicky, purple crying stage. She slept through the night at six weeks (like 8-6 sleeping through the night). She gets up during the night again now, but it's usually only once and she always goes back down really easily. She is the happiest, smiliest baby I have ever seen. She loves to talk, babble, screech, coo, giggle, and be loud. She smiles with her whole body, which I find adorable. She loves to play with her toes, and she rolls from side to side all day long. It won't be long until she can roll from back to tummy!
So there you go folks. A little update on the fam. I am going to keep it updated now, I promise! :-)
