Disney Pixar Blog Hop

Welcome Back!

Today I was invited to participate in Day 2 of the Disney Pixar Blog Hop.  You should've come from Jenny's blog.  If not, be sure to start at Shawn's blog, you won't want to miss a thing!

Growing up is southern CA, we went to Disneyland a lot.  I finally took my 3 kids a couple of years ago and we had a blast!  We took lots of picstures and I am slowly getting them into a scrapbook.

Here is a 2 page layout that I made for our scrapbook.  We had lots of fun collecting character autographs.

As you can see from the pic on the left, my littlest Princess didn't want anything to do with the characters at first.

Lots of hugs for Pluto!

My 3 kiddies :)

My girls and me with Donald.

I like to keep these pages simple since I have so many to make.  I used the Mickey Font cartridge for the letters, and added some Disney stickers.

Be sure to stop by and comment on all the blogs along your way.  ContainYa Crafts has donated a Scrap'n Easel as the grand prize giveaway.

For my blog candy, I would like to give away a Mickey or Minnie crochet cup cozy.  Just leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite ride at one of the Disney parks is.  Be sure to leave me a way to contact you, and become a follower if you'd like.

Valentine Headband

Hello Crafty Friend and Happy 2013 (a little late)

Today I have a quick post to share with you a Valentine headband I made to enter in the Jaded Blossom January Challenge.

The challenge is to make anything but a card.

Since my youngest loves to wear hair bow and headbands, I thought it would be fun to make her something to wear.

Supplies:
Fabric and ribbon from my stash
black tulle
Clover Kanzashi Flower Maker
Imaginisce i-Top Headband and Medium Twist Daddy
Jaded Blossom "Valentine Candies" stamp

I stamped only the wording from the stamp onto fabric to make the center of the flower.

I'll be back soon with lots of other crafty creations.

Thanks for stopping by!
