She has

a new bed, well a preloved antique bed

found on a local buy/sell/trade site

I love it and once the weather warms up

I will do a bit of work on it, sand it, paint it or
re varnish it. we collect it

lunchtime Saturday

this will be Miss Sophie's new bed/ guest bed

its a double and her super sized quilt will fit it perfectly

and it will fit perfectly in her bedroom..

We have a 'handyman' here today he is installing shelves into all
the wardrobes, Emma and Imogen's are finished, Sophie's just need to
have the shelves put in and I am guessing the ones in the my bedroom
will be done tomorrow.

Happy Birthday

To Me

Its my birthday today and I have had a fabulous day

I have been to school for the mini fete and made
popcorn for Sophie and her friends stall

I  had coffee with my man then we went to
Merimbula to collect my birthday present....

and Apple iMac

after a couple of calls to telstra I can now
get emails, and after a help me call to Apple
I can now find the information bar when  I
have a page fully opened....

Loving this new toy.

Tonight we are off to the club for some birthday drinks
then to the pub for a family dinner, hubby has organised
a few friends to join is on Saturday night for a bbq
and more birthday drinks.

Will be back soon with photos of my stitching and
saturday nights fun.

Oh and no news on Ben, the search has been called off due to
the weather, now we just have to wait for the Sea to give him back
so he can rest in peace

Fingers and Toes Crossed

My beautiful niece's partner is missing at sea
along with his best mate,
while setting cray pots off the south west coast of
Tasmania

we have everything crossed that there is going to be
a happy ending but as time goes on, hope is fading.

Love you to the moon and back Jess xxxx

Still Alive

We have just been really busy lately.

Gardening, yes, gardening.

I have chopped down 3 ute loads of tree branches.

2 ute loads of other garden waste

and I have maybe another 3 ute loads of
daisy bushes waiting to be taken to the dump,
and we have had so many people say that its
so nice to see the garden being cared for, it was
very neglected when we shifted in, I can't wait for
spring to arrive to see the fruits of all my hard
work.

last week we had the weather from hell descend upon us,
wild and windy and very very wet.

Unfortunately the 1 pine tree that came down in the storm
very cleverly fell between the other pine trees and
as a result the 30 remainng trees that need to come down so we
can get some sunlight all day into the house are still
standing.

the upside to the wild wet and windy day was I got to sit in
front of the heater and watch mindless crap on tv while I
stitched, sadly no pics to share as I am on the kids computer
while mine downloads the latest anti virus and emails.

I haven't been near a computer for almost 2 weeks!

My mama has had her last chemo treatment, now we wait and see
what the verdict is, she has everyside effect listed, and has done it
tough, but fingers crossed her final results are good ones.

My twinnies are turning 11 next week! I can't believe it 11.
My baby girl is learning Irish dancing at school, she is such a character
and our biggest boy Mr 23, has just moved to Melbourne for work

So all is good, we are all still happy and well and I promise
it won't be so long between posts again xx
