blogging break

just to let you know I am having a blogging break

got some stuff happening that I need to work out

so I need some time out from the blog

I will be back when my head is clearer and thoughts can run free

am feeling a bit sad and down at whats going on

but it will all work out in the end I am sure

just not sure which way it will end!!

One of the ladies I worked with in WA last year is having a seriously tough time.

Her hubby is on life support after a fall and a big brain bleed.

The prognosis for him isn't very good.

So if you could say a little prayer for the both of them I would really appreciate it.

and

my arms are seriously sore today I am having straightening issues with them lol

I am going this morning to be tortured by Josh........

I feel I may be hurting tonight

but Oh How I love treadmills especially ones with iPod docks......

UPDATE

Well that wasn't as bad as I thought

10 minutes on a spin bike as a warm up BLAH

I have to do a circuit of machines, which takes about 30 mins to get through

then my be-loved treadmill, hill circuit 'around the world' for 20 mins, but I didn't get to finish the full thing so I am upping it to 30 mins so I can do the whole workout, but I did walk 1.88kms at a speedy pace

thats 3 days a week the other days I get to do the treadmill and the x trainer.....

all I can say is IT BETTER WORK lol

and now I am off for a shower, chicken roll for lunch and maybe a spot of sewing.....OMG

1st day back at school today for the girlies

I feel a nanna nap will be on the cards in my very quiet house :)

Pity Party is over

I wasn't mortally wounded, just learnt a valuable life lesson

which I won't be repeating.

My girlfriends came and took me out for dinner,

 they let me vent, drink and oh they made me laugh.

Suffering a wee bit this morning from a headache, self inflicted

as a wise woman once said

I WILL SURVIVE.

Off to see Kasey Chambers tonight :)

girlies are going for a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa

with alcohol, lots of alcohol

so not prepared to discuss why I am having a pity party for 1

I love it....

Perfume and stuff

I am a total no frills girlie,

I don't do makeup, never have, can't really see the point actually

but I do love perfume

my absolute favorite is Lou Lou, hubs bought me a bottle once a total surprise, and its all I have worn since, but then I found Gucci rush which is another favorite. So I carry both in my bag and wear whichever one is pulled out first lol

A few weeks ago mum and dad were here for dinner and my mother commented that I looked like I had no eyelashes WTF, my lashes are dark and then blond at the edge of my eye, well I raced out to by some mascara which made no difference to my lack of lash look so today while a girlfriend and I were in town I bought another mascara which has 2 steps, the 1st is to make your lashes white then you do the dark and WOO HOO I have eyelashes again, I am so happy lol.

I don't know if I mentioned here that I haven't heard from ds 21 in quite a while, well today he sent me a text FINALLY, I did have a minor spit at him, but YAY he is in contact again, I'll give him a call tonight to actually see what is going on.

We have the heat pump people coming in 1 hr to quote for a heat pump downstairs, if its too much we will just get the kids heaters hard wired in then they will be on the same rate as the heat pump, cause I DO NOT want another bill like that....

So will you share with my your favorite perfume...... variety is the spice of life and I like variety lol

Alone again

but oh so Happy to be alone,

I know that sounds awful but 7 weeks of hubs 24/7 can be very very draining. He needs to be amused and frankly I figure at his age he can amuse himself!

He left this morning at 5am and will be back in 7 glorious weeks.

Sheesh I sound like a b**ch don't I........

So in the last week or so since I posted there has been alot of not much going on.

I have decided that its time to shift my winter layer so I am walking of a morning for 1hr, my route varies each day but I can see the difference its making so I shall keep on plodding, can I just say that as I face the hills each morning on my way home I do question myself as to WHY we live where we do, I even went so far as to ask if we could move to a flat suburb lol.

Friday bought our power bill, OMFG I was horrified and this morning I wandered into our local heat pump supplier to arrange a quote for a heat pump downstairs......are you ready for it our bill for 3 months was

$1582.70


its so high because we have 3 small heaters downstairs for the girlies our heat pump only used $340 worth of power so between the girlies heaters, the leaky hot water cylinder and the lights we are on a power saving mission. LOL

My heart goes out to those who struggle to pay their winter heating bills, I am just blessed that we are in a position that its not an issue for us to pay. The bill was more than our monthly mortgage payment, can you believe that.

SO its the last week of the school holidays, tomorrow we are going into town to do ?? we have done the park several times,Friday night I went to a girlfriends for drinkies, we took the kids to the skate park with their scooters on Saturday, Wednesday I get a home alone day as Mum and dad are taking the girlies on a picnic YIPPEE, this weekend I am going to see Kasey Chambers with a girlfriend then we are going to hit the town afterwards.  Next week school is back so I will be back to frantic mornings and walking after they have been dropped at school

No sewing has been done for 2 weeks I know slack but I do have a sparkling clean house as of this morning I just need to finish the last 3 loads of washing and I am good to do zip for the rest of the day :)

My favourite thing about Facebook is the status shuffle, there are some pearlers in there is you hunt for them,

I put a new status up everyday

Wednesdays was Kate wonders in Rhino's are just obese unicorns lol

Yesterdays was  Kate has put herself in time-out until further notice lol

today I have yet to be amused enough to change it lol

got the girlies coming for an afternoon on the deck for a few Friday drinkies.

I treated myself yesterday to a bottle of Bacardi 151, it comes with a flame proof cap.

Definitely not having a big night on that lol

No rest for the wicked! Pt 2

The new tattoo well I paid homage to the great spirit Bacardi

I now have the Bacardi Bat tattooed on my lower back!

I know that many will think I am crazy for getting a bat but I love my Bacardi rum, and I am a bit batty at times hey its me lol

I asked hubs was he shocked he said he was glad I finally got it done as I have been talking about getting it for YEARS

will share a pic soon, I have one on my phone but no idea how to get it from the phone to the computer lol.

as for the doo, well I am not sure that I like it's  much shorter than I am used too I have had hair past my shoulders for nearly 8 years tonight it sits above my shoulders and its DEAD STRAIGHT yippee, no frizz, no curls  straight, I love the colour too so that helps

and will continue to be dead straight as I am now the owner of a GHD straightener, Louis (my hair dude) said he will give me curling lessons next time I am in which is at the end of October.

The dance concert thingie I went to with Miss S was FANTASTIC I am so pleased I went with the kids, and I came home and downloaded some songs from iTunes that were used today.




So Miss Jo and Miss Deb patience my friends I will share eventually :)

No rest for the wicked!

Its been flat out

and its doesn't seem to be stopping.

Monday I went to Lilydale with my mum to the lps I bought a fat 1/8th of fabric and that was it!

and I sewed some more compass points for the mariners compass quilt

Tuesday was a rush too

* coffee with a great girlfriend,

* took the naughty puppy for a bath with another girlfriend who has a dog grooming business

* had an appointment to get a new tattoo on my lower back so there went another 1hr (and I love it)

* collected the beast from is clean out and service

* did the groceries (well what I got what I thought we needed will be making a return trip today for all I forgot lol

* called in for a chat with another girlfriend

* made a hair appointment for a full colour, foils and a new doo, thats today at 3:15 and I have decided that change is as good as a holiday so I am getting a new style and I need a hair straightener

* today I am off on an excursion with Miss S's class from 10:30 - 1:30

I have a mountain of washing that needs to be done at some stage

I desperately need the car serviced

and I need to do some gardening, if ever the ground dries out.

Plans for the rest of the week are lunch with my oldest girlfriend tomorrow (we met in Prep 35 years ago)

last violin lesson for the term

school finishes for the term Friday

orchestra concert on Saturday which is also our 11th wedding anniversary, then we have a fathers day dinner planned for Sunday night.

Monday morning I am going to go for a nice long walk with only my iPod for company and dh  can man the fort at home until I get back!

I am exhausted thinking about it all
