My Digital World

Just a few minutes ago, the new week starts. I am still at home (Groningen, my parents' house), since it is useless to go to U because I already handle my thesis to all supervisors and the *bad* supervisor still does not manage to his device working, which means that I am not able to do any testing.

Anyway, I do not want to blog about him again, since it is not worth to mention about bad things. Last week, I am fully booked with appointments. Every day, I have a meeting with friends or seminar about business related stuff. My week starts with a dinner with ShukYee + her boyfriend and my buddy Nancy in Kimchi house in Rotterdam. We ate Korean. The food was OK lor. There are very limited choices.

At Tuesday, Joyce (the secretary of my department) forces me to join the annual New Year's dinner with iur department group. Although I really do not have any mood to move, I gave Joyce face to apply for the dinner. We ate at a (Dutch prepared) Chinese restaurant. The food was so so, but it was a nice gathering to eat with my colleagues.

The evening of Wednesday, Ann + her husband and Ashley came along. Ann is pregnat and she almost gives birth. She asked me to shoot her big belly a few months ago. So, last week, I tried to make her happy. :) The shooting was so so, since it is my first pregnant shoot.

The next evening, direct after I was out of giving lessons at the secondary school, I headed to Utrecht for an information evening for starting business. That information evening was nothing special. Luckily, I made one new contact.

The Friday evening, after I left out of school, I went to gymn. After some quick exercises, I headed to meet Nancy. Nancy brought her friend to the dinner. Nancy said to me that she wanted to introduce her to me as a potential girlfriend. Last week, due to the horrible snow and ice, that girl stayed at home and did not come. But this week, she came to Rotterdam. Nancy asked me what I think about her friend. She gave a feeling that she is a good girl. But I am there just to make friends and not to search for my other part.
Oh ya, I forget to mention her name: if I remember it correctly, she calls Yin Peng. :P hehehe...Oh btw, her birthday is the same as the brithday of my buddy. SO accidentally!

The Saturday started with working on my business, which meaned I attend seminar in the afternoon. After the seminar, I took the train to Utrecht to take pictures of Izabella's 18th years birthday party. At her party, there is a friend of Izabella who is very rude. Nowadays, the young are so reckless.

This year, the winter is very fierce. We have never had such a cold winter before. This week, the temperature hits the -15 degree. The week before Christmas, we had a very serious snow. Whole Holland is covered by the snow which is at least 20cm thick. It was really amazing and also very weird.

This winter does not only give troubles to The Netherlands, but other European countries, such as UK has a serious problem as well. In the last few years, this world is really changing. It becomes unpredictable and things turn into bad. I wonder how long we can tolerate the unexpected changes....

Anyway, I give this blog entry 桃花, since it seems that this year, I will meet my girl. I am not sure if I spell 桃花 correctly, but it simply means that the guy will be surrounded by many potential girlfriends. Am I surrounded by girls? Yes I do! Am I surrounded by potential girlfriends? No, I don't!

This week, last Friday, Nancy wanted to introduce one of her friends, female + single, to me. The first day that Nancy came to my place for dinner, she asked me if I was free at Friday. She also said, she had a nice girl to introduce to me. I was joking that I want her to introduce some nice and pretty girls to me. But it seems that she is serious about my joke.

Like usual, I went to school at Friday afternoon. After I was out of school, I headed to gym center to exercise. I did not care about how tired I would look like after gym. Luckily, nor Lord (老天爷爷) hold me back to meet that lady, since because of the bad weather, that lady did not want to come to Rotterdam for a dinner with me and Nancy.

Although the "blind date" was cancelled, Nancy and me just proceed to grab some food. It was our first time that we went out for dinner, since we usually cook at home.

My other friend, Ashley, plus her sister and brother-in-law said this week that they will arrange a girl for me. I really feel that this year, I will somehow be attracted by a girl. When my uncle gave me a ride to home, he also mentioned about when I will bring girlfriend home.....

When I chat with people about my "love" life, many people have one very common thing that they will say: you are too picky! I am very surprised by their conclusion, since I don't know where they draw this conclusion from. They even do not know which kind of girls I am looking for, how can they say I am picky?

Anyway, the girl that you are waiting for, is the girl you meet when you close your eyes and spend at least 8 hours with her in a world where nobody can't disturb you both. This world must be very beautiful, since the whole world is about you + her story only. Besides, quarrels or other heart-hurting things do not exist. Do ask yourself if you have dated with someone from that world. If you ask me, then I say NO! I simply do not have a dreamgirl. Hahaha!

I think there is no need to mention which kind of girl I am looking for, since I think friends who know me well, do have a good idea what I am searching for. Although the look is not an important issue for me, I have considered to draw my perfect girl (just her face). My drawing skill is bad, but some how I want to give it a try to draw. I decided to draw her digitally, in stead of the traditional with paper and a pencil, since I am too lazy to scan. :p So, I will share her face once I finished with drawing. But dun expect a nice drawing, OK?

Now it is time to sleep. Maybe I finally will meet her where many others already have met their own ones. :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I hope that for many people, this New Year will bring many happiness to everyone! This year, I brought my sound mixer to home. I let my family sing KTVs. It was funny, since the only one who likes to sing is my 表姐 cousin. We pushed my younger brothers to sing and finally everyone has sung at least one song. :P

On the New Year's eve, I didn't play any firework. I even did not touch one of them. It was too cold for me to play. My brother KarLoong also did not play. I think he is grown up already, since adults do not need to play. hahaha....

I will share some photos later. Today, my cousin 表哥 brought us a visit! Yay! I am happy to see him again! :)
