This week, many things happened. The first thing is that I finally
manage to get access to the pre-programmed memory in the microcontroller.
Because of this, I made a progress in my project. Piet and Dafina were
happy with my results so far. Now, I have to work in MATLAB for showing
that my idea for the read-out electronics should work. Piet is sometimes
very annoying, because he is hard to satisfied.

Last Thursday, I got a call from Wati. Last week, she had her defense
and she got a 7 for her project, which is good. But, Piet wanted her
working out the inverse Laplace Tranform and plotting the bandwidth
and phase diagram. First off, because this is after the defense, Piet
cannot ask her to do that. We all think that she gets her Master of
Science. Wati is very panic on the phone and ask me for helping her.
On the phone, I tried to make her less stressing. Plotting the
bandwidth and phase is not difficult. But she uses MATLAB for doing
that job, which can be very frustating sometimes. It should be a piece
of cake, since last year, I was the student assistance of the toughest
lab in the Bachelor curriculum. However, things enter in my left ear
and they also immediately flowing out my right ear. But I told her that
she can count my help. I also recommend her to ask Shabir to join us,
because he is by far better than me. ;)

That Thursday evening was a nightmare for Wati. She left her keys and
stuff in her car. She urged to call ANWB for opening the door. While
we were waiting for the ANWB, shabir made many jokes about how to open
the car's door. I told Shabir to stop joking, since Wati did not
appreciate that.
When Wati got her stuff, she worked very hard on the last things to
finish her thesis. Shabir helped her in analysing her circuit and
mathematical approach, while I was busy with enjoying my dinner. :P
I know, I am a bad guy. But I will be a super hero when people lost
her hope. So, when they stuck somewhere, I tried to get them to move
forward. I verify the results. In the meanwhile, Bou and his sister
came along. They were just for chit-chatting. Later on, Suhaib also
came along. He joined the group of helping Wati.
Wati was at 19.30h at my place. Suhaib and Shabir stayed at my place
till 22.30h, while Bou and his sister left very soon after their
arrival. Although, Shabir, Suhaib and Wati work so hard, they cannot
finished the whole analysis. Suhaib needed to pick her father and
Shabir will drive with him home. So, the tough task was passed to me.
I helped Wati till almost 01:00h. There is something that I do not
understand about the phase diagram that MATLAB calculated. I recommended
Wati to plot everything by hand. But she said she did not know how
to do that. I told her how.
Apart from the diagrams, there was one thing left: inverse Laplace
Transformation. Laplace stuff is a piece of cake for me. So, I showed
her how she can do the full analysis in 2 steps. I did called Shabir
twice for the mathematical conditions which I usually forget. :P

So, after the busy evening, I finally can get a rest. The next day,
I cycle to Delft. This week, I have cycle 4 times to Delft, because
of the nice weather. I broke my record: 40min for a distance of 16km.
This week, I have cycled for 8*16=128km!!!

The amazing news that I got this week, was about miss Holland. I got
a VIP room for miss Holland. On top of that, I am the photographer for
one of the sponsors of miss Holland. So, this weekend, I will buy
16GB memocard and an extra battery for my camera (D2Hs).

Today, Saturday 26th of July, I went to BIJ to meet the canteengirl.
Recently I saw her on msn again. I chatted with her and she told me
that she worked for BIJ. I told her that I visited her.
She cut her hair and she look more mature now. Sometimes, we did not
what to say. actually, we rarely chat when we met each other at the U.
Now, she left Delft and go to Erasmus for her Master of business degree.
I first thought, that we could not see each other again. But thanks
Lord, I still have the chance. :)

This week, I get a very sad feeling about my project. I have solved many errors. Every time I solve them, new ones are waiting for me. I do really hate programming part. Besides, I am asked to give a short presentation about what I have done so far and what my current problems are. I notice that the things I have learned from my previous do not match with what people will use in real life. Sometimes, it is really confusing what the best tool is to present the work.

Because I feel sad about my project, I take my project more seriously. I told to myself many and many times to work hard. But I end up with doing nothing. But, this weekend, I have written 5 pages of my thesis. Tomorrow I will continue with writing, while I will try to do write another test code in C and writing a programme in MATLAB for my Fourier series analysis. Besides, I also will do some calculations on my read out electronics.

Last weeks, I have been busy with many things. First of all, it was my project. I also went to Utrecht to talk about to the boss for who I will build an application (software) with my friends. Thus, our first business is in our hand!
Last Tuesday, I gave Estella feedbacks about her exchange project. She graduated at Wednesday, which I am happy for her.
Last Wednesday, I cycle from Rotterdam to Delft. I bought a bike some weeks ago, since I want to work on my health condition and it is easier for me to go by bike then by public transport. The Dutch public transport is really very lousy: many delays and troubles.
The next day, Wati had her graduation and I had my presentation. In the evening I expected the doctors from Erasmus Medical Centre would come along. But they finally could not make it.
At Friday, I rush to home to get a mobile for my brother's birthday. But I was late and missed the mobile. Well, hopefully, I will get it next week for him.

I knock off now. Tomorrow, a new working day is waiting for me....

Finally, I can finish my first assignment for photography. The day before, Faruk's sister (Hanna) came along to my place for shooting. She never had any experience in shooting. Therefore, I had to tell her the things I know.

Shooting with Hanna is tiring, since it is her first shooting. The day before the shooting, Faruk, Hanna, Bou and other friends from our university had a kind of gathering, because Faruk and Wesley are leaving us. Wesley has a job offer and he will start his career after he is back from holidaying with his girlfriend. Faruk is leaving us and he went to Taiwan for working. At that day, I did not take any pics because I had no time to go back to my room to grab my cam.

Well, let continue with shooting. This Friday, I had a kind of professional shooting. I had MUA and experienced model to work with. This shooting differs from other shooting. I personally think that the model lacks something in doing a good pose. She liked to look down and put her head in front of the body.

During the shooting, the MUA also gave her opinions which are very useful. She gave feedbacks to the model. While I was shooting at almost at the end, something oooops happened. While the model was lying on the ground and she was ready for the first few new shots, one of her breast is totally uncovered. She didn't notice that. I told her that her breast came out of her shirt. This is my first time I saw a breast of a woman. Before I notice that her breast is uncovered, I look carefully at it. I thought it was a weird collar. But after a few seconds, I realise it was her breast! Oh my gods! I think it was not a big deal for her, since she was not shocked.

After the shooting I open my photoshop and editting the pics since my cousin wanna have them by next day. So, I play photoshop till 5am!!! Then I went to bed and slept till 9am. My cousin came to me at around 11am since I wanted to show him the pics I edit. He was very satisfying with the results.

After showing and handle the pics to him, I took the train to Groningen. When I was almost home, Willemijn (our model) sent me a sms about the selection of which pics will be on the cover and posters. When I same to msn to send her the pics that will be used for the poster, she was not happy with the chosen pics and the way how I edit the pics. The very smooth skin plus high-key effects that I applied, seemed to be outdated. Willemijn said that professional photographer will not do that. So, that is a thing that I learn from her. :)

It was my first time that I chat with her on msn. She is quite spontaneous girl. Although our first appointment was cancelled since it was unclear for her what the assignment means. Let me show you the pics that my cousin selected which I applied those effects on photoshop. Do give me comments!!!
