This week, I have done many things and I also spent a lot of money on buying things I like and where my friends also can have profit of it. Let me start at the begin. At Monday, I bought a mixer. I need a mixer since I want to sing KTV in my room. I already bought two microphones a few weeks ago. I was very surprised of the size of the mixer. It is a huge thing! I can plug 7 microphones in it. Anyway, after buying the mixer I went to buy clothes tree. Nowadays I am reorganising my room.

At Tuesday, I went to the University to work on my pacemaker project. I stuck at the circuit simulation again. The problem might be the biasing problem during the design in the circuit. I don't know where the problem arises so I need my professor to help me. So I make an appointment with him to discuss which will be next week. Before I start with my project, I have worked as the student assistance which is in the morning. The assignment becomes difficult now. Some of the students have no idea what they should do. But there is one student who has to start with the first assignment of our first session. He said that he was sick last week and therefore he missed a session. However it is already the third week! If he did this lab in the year that I did this lab, he will be kick out from the lab for sure since we are not allowed to be slow.
Well today people become more and more friendly. Also the requirements to allow to entry this lab is signifcantly low alot. Besides I don't want to kick someone from the lab if it is not neccessary. Therefore I give him a chance to catch up all the assignments he has to do to be on schedule. But there is one thing that he annoys me alot. He is not honest to me! I am sure that he copies files from others. He uses the codes and he shows it to me. But he is not able to explain to me since he doesn't understand it. I told him that he has to be honest to me and if he is honest, I will do my best to help him. I don't appreciate students who copy codes from others without understanding how it works etc.
Anyway, this week, Marijn (which is also one of the Student Assistances) passes his important task to me: he handles the list with names and progressing list of the students for this lab to me since he cannot make it to be present for both days which the lab is given. If the professor has questions concerning the lab, I am the person whom he can contact with. It seems like that I carry stones in my bag now. This lab is definitely not easy to do. Besides it is my first time to be a Student Assistance. So my experience is zero! Well, I will see how things turn out.
In the evening, I go to buy speakers. Jimmy, Vincent and me will drive to Utrecht. We had a dinner in Vincent's house. It was a very long time ago that I have had Dutch food again that is cooked by Dutch. I don't miss that though since Dutch food, which I think, is nothing special. The car in which we sat was a very expensive Mercedes Jeep. I like the previous (also very expensive) Mercedes car. The first time that three of us are driving was the time that we went to Germany. We went there to buy digital cameras. Vincent and Jimmy caught me up in Groningen and from Groningen we drove to the environment of Aachen. At that day, the weather was not very good. It has snowed. But the car in which we drove was the Mercedes I like very much. With the average speed of 190km/h we arrived at our destination in 2hours and 30mins.

The Wednesday is a sportday. I go to play badminton with Shabir and other people who join us. At that day I played very bad since the pacemaker was not progressing very well. I tried to smash everytime.
In the evening a fridge had been delivered. Now I have my own fridge in my room. I don't like to share things with others since they usually use my stuff without asking.
In the late evening I got a call of a friend who lived very far away from me. She is a classmate of me from the University. Now she lives and works in Taiwan. Her name is Toby. Toby was one of the best student of my schoolyear. She received an honor for her B.Sc. degree in Delft. After her Bachelor she went to Imperial College for doing her Master of Science. After graduation she goes back to her mother country to work.
During the phonecall, she tried to pull my leg. She thought that I would not know who she was. But the way how she talked betrays her. Anyway, it was very nice to talk her. We haven't chatted for 1.5 years. But we still do contact each other by sending e-mails. The fact that she called me, was that she was in Holland for holidaying. I wanted to meet her, but since she was full-scheduled we could not meet. That is a great pity. But when I am in Asia, I will try to make time to fly over Taiwan to meet her.

I made a big mistake this Thursday. In the morning when I was heading to my University to attend a lecture, I realised that it was cancelled. So, I went to my 'office' to look at my circuit design. However I still stuck at my design.
In the evening, I did photoshoots again for my promotion of Miss and Mr Delft. I add some pics that I have photoshop at my multiply-account. And here I also have some new photos to share.

Next week, I will discuss with the lady who is in charge with printing. I hope that she will sponsor us. Of course, I need to design a nice poster.

Today I watch a movie with my mom that I have downloaded from Wangyan's computer. It is a Japanese movie with Chinese subtitle only. However, I do not understand the Chinese characters very well. My mom helps me with the part that I do not understand.

About the movie:
It is a very nice movie!!! One may think it is very boring because in this movie there is no "action" like explosion, fight, etc. But I like movies that can let me think or a movie that has some moral or a good sketch of the reality. This movie gives a draw of how a fresh-born dog is teached to be a good dog, so that he can help people who are blind. I am really amazed of how dogs can learn things from human. And surprisely, they do understand us too. Such a dog is able to communicate with his/her boss. But the boss must also be able to communicate with his/her dog too. This movie give a sketch of how a man builds up a (good) relationship with the dog. I would recommend everyone to see this movie since it is a very nice movie that you cannot miss. Maybe one has to watch with your loved ones since this movue is very touching too!

From this movie, I notice that dog's life is not easy. I mean those dogs that have to take care of their boss (blind people). Staring from very young age, they are educated to able to "talk" to the boss in the future. They have to know what they should do in any kind of situation. I wonder what will happen to those dogs who are not easy to be taught. I am afraid that they become hit or be very badly treated by their trainee or their boss. Once the dogs are able to take care of the blind people, they are attached to blind people. From that moment, the dogs have to do their job for their whole life. We, human, can stop anytime we want. We, human, can choose our own way of living. We, human, can choose things we like. For those dog, their fate is already determined when they enter this world. There is no freedom for them. They are pushed to learn and they are teached to obey their boss.

I remember that I have had a dog when I was very young and when I lived in Malaysia. My dog was also a very adorable pet. But my dog passed by by a car accident. At that day, my dog was playing outside. I waited for him to come home the whole day. It rained very heavy. Finally I am told that my dog had left us.

I do understand how hard it would be for the man to say goodbye to the dog. I also do understand how difficult it would be for the dog to wait for his boss. If "a couple" is being seperated from each other, life has no nice meaning for the other one...

When I was in Singapore and when I was at my Aunt's home, I heared a song on TV that attracted my attention. I didn't know what the name of the song was. Today, when I came back from working in the restaurant and when I was just surfing for songs, I coincidentally found that song. After spending time on googling I finally find a link of the midi-file of that song and I add this song in my blog:

This week, I was talking about the canteen girl with Yan and Luna. From a test that Yan gave to me, it is said that the highest chance to find my other part is in the canteen. I sit in the canteen for many years. I take my lunch there and I usually study in the canteen. So, if I will meet my other part in the canteen, then she lets me waiting for her for ages! Somehow, I have a song that is related to this issue in my mind that I want to write it down. It is a very famous song and I have modified the text:

'CANTEEN' De Nu Hai Kan Guo Lai
Kan Guo Lai, Kan Guo Lai
Deng Ni Le Deng Dao Tuo Fa Duo Guai Bai
Qing Bu Yao Jia Zhuang Bu Li Bu Cai

'CANTEEN' De Nu Hai Kan Guo Lai
Kan Guo Lai, Kan Guo Lai
Bu Yao Bei Wo De Yang Zi Xia Huai

'MICRO' De Nan Hai De Bei Ai
Shuo Chu Lai, Shei Ming Bai
Qiu Qiu Ni Pao Ge Mei Yan Guo Lai
Hong Hong Wo Dou Wo Le Kai Huai

(He..He..he, Mei Li Wo, heh!)

Wo Deng Le Zao Shan Dao Wan, Wan Shan Dao Zao
Yuan Lai 'CANTEEN' De Nu Hai Dou Bu Jian Dan
Wo Deng Le You Deng, Wo Bai Fa Lai Le Yue Lai
Nu Hai Men De Xin Shi Hai Zhen Qi Guai

'MICRO' Nan Hai De Cang Ying Pai

I don't know where I should start with. But it seems that I am doing very bad with respect to my study. First I fail for my Nuclear exam. For that exam, I lost all my motivation to study. I don't know why, but that course bores me so much. I finally don't want to look at the books or slides before the exam takes place.

The last week, I get my results back from my exams in January. All of them are too bad. I only pass for one subject!!! I have never been so bad. My marks were average a 8 in my Master and now I end up with "eggs". I really don't know what is wrong with me. I ask myself several times. I think I don't plan things very well and I also realize that I am not able to do many things simultaneously. That is why I give up my second Master: Biomedical Engineering. I only want to complete the minor and I have to satisfy with a certificate for Biomedical Engineering. Also, I have given up the medical course in Leiden. I think I need to take a break to breath before I can recap everything. But time flies. After a few weeks, my exams start again. In the meanwhile I want to prepare for the oral exam that is very important for me. I try to pick up myself in the coming few days.

Apart from my study result, I am also busy with doing my job as Student Assistance. Two weeks flies by already. Although the assignments of the first two weeks are quite simple, I have to work very hard for it: There are still many students who don't understand how to do the practical assignment. And it takes me quite a lot time and energy to explain things clear to them. The prepartion takes me also a lot of time. However, it will be more and more since the coming assignments are very tough. I am not sure if I am able to make things very clear...

Last weekend I was not at home (which I mean that I did not go to my parents' house) since I went to watch movies. Last week, the annual Internationale Film Festival had been started. Several movies from all over the world were exhibitted in the cinemas in Rotterdam. Because it was a special week and because I wanted to watch movies, I stayed in Rotterdam and took a day off of my part-time work in the restaurant. I went to the movies with some friends: Wangyan, Luna and Villa. Our first movies started at Monday. the first movie we saw was very bad!!! During that movie ("Lost in Tokyo") I almost felt asleep. The first effort to sleep, I was jolt awake by crying of the man who plays in the movie. I have never heard a man cry in such a way that he is able to wake someone from his/her being unconscious. This man performs better that my alarm clock in the early morning. The second time that I was waken up, was a call of my friend Jimmy. He wondered where I was since he was also watching movies that day.

The second movie (Princess) was about a guy who took revenge against the porn market. That movie was a cartoon animation that was created by people who come from Denmark. The drawing is far most not so good as our familar anime/manga in Japan. But apart from that, there was one very remarkable thing in the whole movie: the voice of the girls. I was very amazed by the voice of the girls who play in the movie. Their voices seem like a man! Also the way how the girls talk, seems like a man. That may be very typical of people from Denmark, I guess. The movie itself was OK. After seeing a very bad movie, this movie was significant much and much better. However, this is not a way to judge the movie. So our first day of Internationale Film Festival ended with one very bad movie and one reasonble cartoon.

I forget what I have done in other days. My memory seems to be worse and worse. It might be because I become old. It is said that once you become older you will be wiser. Although I am agreed with this judgement, I like to add some comments. First, you might be wiser but the things that you need to pay for it is that you become more and more awkward. In my case, which I think that most people will also suffer, I will lost more and more memory. With respect to electrical explanation, short circuit will be created in my brain: people who becomes older and older, the connection of nervous systems in the brain will grow since they become wiser. Once the nerves fill the whole brain, they have no more space to expand. However they like continuing growing since we want be wiser. Therefore they expand in all direction which leads to chaos in the nervous system which results in malfunction in memory. Commonly the phenomena are short-memory or losing memory :P The last and not the least, don't take this too serious since I am in a weird mood again.

By the way, in the weekend, to be more precisely, at Saturday we continued with watching movies. They were the last movies we wanted to see. Starting with a Malaysian movie: "Love Conquers All". The movie was OK. The day before the movie started, I had a talk with Wangyan about loverboy. She didn't know what a loverboy is. And coincidentally our first movie was about loverboy. It was weird to watch a movie in which you tell a story that exactly played in the movie.
The second movie was "Before We Fall in Love Again". This was also a Malaysian movie. There was one word for this movie: boring! One positive thing of this movie was that it was slightly better than Lost in Tokyo. Every time when I watched a movie that I didn't like, I always say it was a waste of my time and money.
After the second movie we moved to my room to have a dinner. I invited Bou and his girlfriend (Sherry) to come to my place to enjoy the dinner together. Because Bou likes salm fish, I prepared salm fish for him. Besides, I did new experiments of how to make "yeung tofu - 酿豆腐" and "spare ribs- 排骨" (I dunno if I write the names correctly in English). I also cooked soup which is lotus-soup - 莲藕汤. All my friends were white mice at that evening. And surprisely, they all survive. My cookingskil is fortunately not that bad as what I expect.
Anyway, after the dinner we went to see our last movie ("Aachi & Ssipak"). It is a Korean animation. The story was about a world where people and aliens fought for their energy source which was shit. This cartoon was also OK. The most funniest part of the cartoon is the ads about shit. The remaining part of the movie was a bit flavorless.
When we left the movie, there was a guy who put his arm on my shoulder. When I turned back, I saw that it was Mark! We had a short talk since it was late and I wanted to bring the ladies to the nearest metro station. Mark also watched movie. He was with his brother and a friend. I haven't talked to Mark since he was on holiday to Mexico to visit his father and when he came back in The Netherlands, he started with working in Siemens. It was very nice to meet him in the cinema and have a talk with him. :) The world is really very small. You never know who you will meet.

The next day, I went with Faruk to Scheveningen. Faruk wanted to buy a analogue camera. And since he didn't have any sense of judging a camera he asked me to join him. I personally also don't have sense of how to judge a camera whether it is good or worthwhile to buy. But at least, I have some experience in taking pics. So, I might be helpful for him.
When we arrived in Scheveningen and when we took a look at the camera, there was one thing that caught my attention. I saw dark spots through the viewfinder in the camera very clear and big. However, they have no effect on the image. After we left I told to Faruk about my worries of the dark spots. If he likes to learn how to take pics, then he can buy the camera since it is well priced. But if he wants more with the camera, I advised him to save his money.

This week, my first week of the 3rd quarter starts. I haven't attend any lectures except the practical aasignment that was hold on Thursday. I really don't know what I am busy with. Due to circumstances I am non-stop doing stuff. Anyway, this Wednesday, I went to Amsterdam since I have a dinner with Nancy, Shukyee and Stephanie. It was a very long time ago that I see Shukyee since she was in Taiwan doing her exchange. I also haven't seen Nancy and Stephanie. I don't know why I am so quite (non-talktative) when I meet them. Among my many friends, I talk alot. It is not because I like to talk but I usually have things to tell.
Anwyay, we have had a nice dinner. Our plan was to eat India's food. But since nobodys know where the restaurant is where we want to go, we finally end in an Italian restaurant. The pasta and pizza that they served were nice. During the dinner we talk about our current life. I tell them that I am accepted to become a student-assistance of the last year's project in the Bachelor. This week I started with my job. My task is to help students with their problems concerning the assignments that they have to do at home and behind the computer (using MATLAB). This project is very tough to teach and to guide since the things that are discussed are at a very high level.
Nancy, Stephanie and Shukyee said that this is a typical job for me since I am a person who likes to give tuition to people and who have lots of patience. But I do not agree with the fact that I like the job that I have now. I apply for this job since I want to earn some money. Besides I want to learn more stuff in real life. So, this is a great opportunity for me to fullfill my wishes.
By the way, after the dinner we went to eat ice-cream. We went to Hagen-Dasz which I like very much. We took a chocolate buffet (I forget the name already:P). it was very nice! Here I have a very nice picture of my pretty friends:

How sweet! The cookies and the chocolate plus the icecream were so delicious! Oh, I forget to show my buddy in the photo. Here you have my pretty friends again with "gekkenbekken trekken":

There was one person that I missed: Airin! She was sick and so she couldn't come. Hopefully she feels now much better.

This week, I started with modelshooting for my promotion of Mr. and Miss Delft Paegants. I have a professional model who is a friend of my friend. She was in Holland for holidaying and she lets me to took pics of her for the promotion. That is very nice of her. My friend, Eileen, who is just back from holidaying in Asia with her boyfriend also offer her help. She likes to be my model too. I really have to thank to the two models plus other friends who help me with orginasing. Here I share some results of my shooting:

I want to use (after editting) two of these photos for doing the promotion. But I want to discuss this first with the models and the community-members.

Well, it is very late now and I write too much. This is my update of my current life. Next time, I have other stuff to tell.
