Another Snow Day!

We got hit again with another snow storm! This is the 3rd day this week that Ryan has been out of school for a snow day. This morning we woke up to the worst of it so far. They just closed the University of Idaho, where Dave works, but he is already at work. He is keeping an eye on the network and power outages. Shawna and I are not going to open the stores until it stops snowing and after they get the roads cleaned up - maybe not at all for Pullman. I think we will still head to the Moscow store to work on our wedding invitation samples for the Bridal Fairs we have this Saturday and next Saturday. (btw...that is me shoveling snow to the mailbox at the Moscow store - so the mail lady can get to us!)

Scrapbook Retreat

I just got back from an amazing weekend scrapbooking with a group of 30 talented ladies! We spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Palouse Divide Lodge scrapbooking! Paper Pals, my scrapbook stores, hosted this retreat.


Shawna and I got to the Lodge Friday afternoon and "moved" in! We brought so much stuff with us! Every one got their own six foot table - so we were all able to spread out. The banquet room we scrapbooked in was so huge! And the view was awesome! The owners of the Lodge are such gracious hosts and made us feel like we were at home. We had dinner Friday night, Brunch and Dinner on Saturday and Brunch again on Sunday. I have never been more comfortable and relaxed!

We had such a great group of ladies come with us! London, Shawna and I shared a room. It felt like camp! We all just bonded and had the best time. I was able to scrapbook and made 32 pages! Check out my slide show below to see a sampler of what I created!

Happy Birthday Ryan!

Ryan turns 15 today - but had his birthday party last night! We had 4 of his buddies over to play Rock Band & Munchkin; eat pizza & cake and have a sleep over! The house looks like a real rock band had a party in it this morning! But these boys are really good kids and a lot of fun to have over! Happy Birthday Ryan! We love you!!

Power Bowling!

Ryan and I went bowling with the Kermots yesterday. Ryan got tired of bowling after the first game so I ended up bowling for an hour & 1/2 on one lane! I think "power bowling' counts as a workout! It sure felt like one! Ryan & Katrina went to play in the arcade and were "dancing" up a storm on the DDR game.

We all had such a good time and can't wait to go again!
