January 21 - Snowman Take 2

After all their hard work the night before, this is what we woke up to the next morning:
 But Ben was not discouraged.  He wanted to play more "noman".
 So while Ike took a nap, we did a little plastic surgery and fixed him.  Her.  We have a limited supply of snowman clothes, so we take what we can get.
Apparently when Ben and Nick were building him the night before, Nick was telling Ben to get handfuls of snow and pack it in.  Then he would say "Great job Ben".  So when Ben and I were rebuilding the snowman, he kept saying "Great job ma".
 Side note:
Ga = grandma
Pa = grandpa
Ma = mom
Daddy = dad
I have a picture of Kim and me when we were little.  We built a snow family - dad, mom, and two babies - then stood on either side of them and pretended to be snowmen too.  I told Ben to hold his hand and smile.  Not quite the same effect, but it's still cute.

That's all from my January 21 folder.  Stay tuned for February 2!

January 21 - Snowman Take 1

Sometime between January 1 and January 21, it snowed.  In case you didn't catch that from the title or the pictures.  Nick was already super busy with taxes, so he didn't get home until late.  Ben really wanted to go play in the snow, so they bundled up and headed out to build a snowman.

January 21 - Preparing for the Snow

 A few things.
1.  I just love that picture of Ben with the goggles.  The way they were sitting on his face was just scrunching him all up, but since they are his Dad's, he thinks he's big stuff for wearing them.
 2.  Not all of this stuff from these posts happened on the same day.  I downloaded all my pictures on January 21, so I made a January 21 folder for them.  I figure it's close enough for the purposes of this blog.  I suppose I could put January 21ish in the title.  But I won't.
3.  I have really gotten out of the habit of blogging.  I know that's not much of a surprise to you, since I haven't posted anything in months.  What I mean is that it's really difficult for me to think of what I want to say and how to say it.  So for the most part I'm just going to post pictures with little captions.  Which will make it easier for me to post a lot of pictures without spending a lot of time, and easier for you so you don't have to read a lot of painful ramblings.  Like these 3 points.

January 21 - Bath Time

Bath time is so tiring.
