More Summer Fun!

*SWIM LESSONS*

Kambri had swim lessons the first of August. She had so much fun. She is a tiny little thing so she couldn't touch the bottom. But her cute teacher held her and helped her do all the things she needed to do.
Here all all of the cute kiddos, Kambri, Brinlee, Ty, & Wyatt. Jaxon and Jamie were missing in the pic! What a bunch of cute kids.

This was Kambri's favorite part, she loved swimming all by herself with the noodle. She is so daring and loved jumping off the side. She did so well, hopefully next year she can swim all by herself:)

*LAGOON*

We have had so much fun going to Lagoon this Summer. We have loved meeting our fun friends there and having a good time. It is so nice to be able to go for a couple of hours and then leave when its nap time:) Kambri and Bennett love it. Bennett loves to go with his sister and isn't too sure when she isn't on the ride with him.
Kambri and her posing, she for some reason loves to put her chin on her shoulder! So funny. She loved all of the rides. Towards the end of the summer she just wanted to go on the bigger rides. She didn't love the babies ones anymore. She loves the new Dragon ride, and the Haunted House. Poor Bennett hates the Haunted House and tried to run out of the line:(

I was so surprised they let the little ones on the Flying Aces, it goes really high. Kambri loved it, but Bennett wasn't too sure about it.

Oh the train, we love the train. We tried to go on it every time and they love it. It's nice to be able to have a place to relax for a minute too! This is the one and only time Brandon has gone with us. Hopefully we can have a date night soon, so we can go on the big rides. It's fun to be able to watch my kids have such a great time. Can't wait for Frightmares!

All dressed up!

I can't believe Summer is almost over. We have had such a fun busy time. I love the Summer, it is so much fun to do things with family and friends. I have lots of things to post that happened awhile ago. I just got pictures from Bri since my camera broke. My cute cousin Taylor got married this Summer and him and his cute wife Lindsay asked if mine and Bri's kids would be in the wedding. They wore the cutest outfits and Kambri and Graicee looked beautiful while Bennett and Halen looked handsome as ever.
Here are the kiddos at the temple.
It was a really long day and Kambri fell asleep on the way to the reception in Draper so this is the best pic we could get of us. She is such a stinker sometimes.

So cute, these two are best friends:)

Ok this picture makes me laugh. Here are all of the kids with Taylor and Lindsay. If you would like to look closely my kids are the only ones not cooperating. Exhibit A, Bennett completely freaking out and exhibit B I am pretty sure Kambri is picking her nose. Yes those are my kids:) They are such a cute couple and we had a fun day celebrating with them!

Happy Birthday Brandon!

Today my sweet hubby turned 30! Seriously when did we get so old? I met him when he was 20 and I feel like it wasn't that long ago. I am so lucky to have him in my life. He is the hardest worker I have ever met. We got home from camping yesterday and I was inside getting things put away and planning on cleaning the trailer next week. Well Brandon comes in a few hours later and tells me that he has cleaned the whole thing and already taken it back to the storage place. I always think that he is going to give me a hard time for not getting things done, but he is so sweet and never says a word. Even though I sometimes think he thinks I'm a slacker:) He is an amazing Dad and Kambri and Bennett think the world of him. I always tease him and tell him that he is everyone's favorite and the golden boy. But he really is and I am so lucky that he is my golden boy! We had a fun relaxing day with a little party at Bri's.
Pictures of his surprise party will come later:)
I think this picture is so cute. He grew his hair out when we were building our house about 4 1/2 years ago. It has never been that long since and I don't know if it ever will be again, but I'm glad I got a picture of his handsomeness (is that a word?)

Surpise Party

I wanted to to make Brandon's 30th birthday special so, I thought it would be fun to have a surprise party for him. I wanted it to be really cute and fun and did a Luau theme. I had so much help and I wouldn't have been able to do it without my talented family and my great friends. Thanks so much to all of you!!!
This is the awesome palm tree my brother made out of pineapple and ferns. He did such a great job and went to town on it. Bri and I made his invitations and made cute little umbrellas to go with them. (I put one in the sand, its rolled up with the umbrella in it) This is the fabulous cake that Bri made and my Mom decorated. They seriously have tons of artistic ability.
These are the cute umbrellas we made for the invites and added more to the cute cupcakes. And the darling cookies my Mom decorated, they were delicious!

We made the best slushy. I was going to pay someone to all the extra stuff, but decided that Bri and I could handle it. I love that she is always up to help me with anything. The slushy was delicious and turned out great!
I was getting nervous that Brandon was going to figure it out. I was getting pretty good at lying and making up stories of where I was going so I could do things for his party. I had to do it before we left camping so it was a week before his birthday so I think that helped him not to be suspicious. It was nice to tell him that I wasn't a slacker and the reason why I hadn't done all the things he needed me too were because I was planning a party for him:) I had my family take him golfing and it worked out perfect. He was completely surprised and I couldn't have been happier. (I was a little stressed)
Brandon's grandma was in town so that worked out perfect too. What a good looking bunch of brothers!

Here are some of the people at the party. We had about 38 people there. It was so much fun to have all of our family and Brandon's good friends there to celebrate his birthday.
My little man sneaking some licks off of the cake. He loved the frosting!
Some of my cute gal friends! I am seriously so lucky to have such awesome friends. The party was great and I am so glad that everything went so well. We had yummy food and great people. Thanks again for every one's help I appreciate it! I'm glad that Brandon could have such a memorable 30th birthday!

Bear Lake!

We have been spending a lot of time with Brandon's family the last couple of weeks. His grandma and great aunt are here from out of town. One of the fun things we did was go to Bear Lake. We stayed in my sis-in-law's Dad's cabin. I haven't been since I was in high school and it was really fun.
Brandon found this gun and of course had to give it to Bennett. His future hunting partner!
Kambri and Bryndie having fun in the swing! Brydie is so good with Kambri and Bennett. I keep saying that everyone needs an 8 year old around!
This is Brandon's grandma or Nan as we call her, and Brandon's mom Debbie.

When we planned our trip we didn't realize it was Raspberry Days so the beach was packed! But the kids loved it.

Here is part of the fam that came up. My cute bro-in-law is single if there are any cute girls out there!

My little guy trying on Uncle Casey's glasses. Oh he is stinking cute!

My little sunbathing beauty! She loved it up there and had fun playing with her cousins.

The girlies finding seashells.
Waiting for our yummy raspberry shakes! Hmmm they were delicious:) We had a good time and hopefully we can do it again next year.

Being a Kid!

Nothing better than being a kid and licking the mixer! I remember this was my favorite thing to do. I love that I can bake and have Kambri enjoy it too! I just love that messy face.
Trying to get every last lick in:) Hmm banana bread!
