the story goes like this..
remember i mentioned before that i was very hooked on 小虎队's 红青蜓?
so.. on a particular saturday over at ah ma's house,
i started singing the opening, the ah ah ah portion and got everyone else to guess the song.
needless to say, ma and ah yi guessed it correctly right away.
anyway, that's not the point.
the point is, i've been looking high and low for their songs to no avail.
and.
five minutes ago, i saw 红青蜓 in my bro's itunes.
wth!
super jian leh!
got nice song also never share!
偷偷 went to download.
i'm so going to give him a piece of mind tmr when he comes back.
seriously.

i was listening to my ipod and this song came on.
i was like 'why does the opening sound so familiar?'
and i realised that it was 'you're beautiful' by james blunt which i just recently downloaded.
out of the blue,
i felt so 感伤..
it's been so mad long since i've listened to this song.
oh man.
i'm feeling real silly now because i actually feel like crying.

food recommendations up ahead!
lunch with muay fan at ikea tampines.
we were there specially for food.
the meatballs are just so yummy!
- lavender chocolate sponge cake from city square, jb.
this is so nice!
it's fluffy, not too dry and has a strong dark chocolate taste.
not the least bit like cheapo chocolate taste!
- munchy's chocolate waffles, 3.20RM
i got this in watsons in city square.
again, it's nice!
the waffles are filled with chocolate.
i'm not too sure if we have it here in sg.
- lay's potato chips in tomato.
this was from a random mini mart in beijing.
i was pleasantly surprised when i had it.
i thought it would taste weird.
my bro got me to take away gong cha for him that day and i thought i might as well get myself one too.
i seriously have not been drinking bubble tea for the longest time.
this was the passion fruit green tea.
oh my..
i love it!
i'm craving for it!!
p/s: i know i'm weird.
i don't drink milk tea.
my favourite bubble tea is passion fruit red/green tea.
this is perhaps the nicest chocolate i've tried from royce.
i honestly do not think that royce chocolates are nice,
given those that i've tried so far.
but this changed my mind.
it's full of nuts!
i adore nuts!
there's a fruity chocolate bar version which has banana in it.
gross.
hate bananas except for goreng pisang.
for me, banana is the right after jack fruit on my smelliest fruits list.
that's that.

Rebecca Minkoff MAC Mini
a new parcel came yesterday.
it's from
shopbop.com this time round.
got myself my fourth rebecca minkoff bag, mac mini in navy.
this is a super blackened blue.
compare it with my black wallet,
and you should be able to notice the blue hues in it.
i ABSOLUTELY love this!
especially the pebbled, soft leather and the colour.
just showing you what i would carry around in the mini to give you a gauge of its capacity.
wallet, keys, tub of egyptian magic cream, mirror, tide to go, bag hanger and phone.
actually, my wallet sort of fits snugly in it.
so i would most likely switch to my tiffany card case instead.
lastly, the leopard print thingy is the dustbag.
and that is also the lining of the bag.
that's all for now.

spent the day shopping in jb with ma, ah yi and winnie.
the four of us headed to ksl to have our nails done.
i've not done pink nails for ages!
and aren't those bookmarks cute?
i love the bus one!
oh yes.
we had lunch at this hong kong cafe called something causewaybay.
and...
their soup in bread thingy was so nice!
i mean the bread.
my god!!
we didn't finish the soup because we ordered curry soup which wasn't the least bit soupy?
but we finished up the bread.
mad good!!!!
after a day's shopping, here's what winnie had.
mostly food for ah ma.
anyway, i honestly didn't buy much except to stock up on sunscreen and mascara in watsons.
i can't wait to use my dark brown mascara tmr!!
next.
winnie passed me the korean songs today.
and i really like
big bang's love story and
2ne1's ugly!
they're the same genre of songs.. same style.
WHERE'S MY CONVERTIBLE?!!
these are the exact kind of songs i would want to be blasting while racing down a road with the wind in your face.

i got carried away with dreaming.

something unhappy happened yesterday.
i got pretty pissed off and almost wanted to 出气 on my hair and chop a good amount off.
but.
i chickened out.

thank god ma didn't scold the hell out of me.
but now, my heart aches whenever i think of the money.

my absolute favourite has to be

there is plans for a ktv session next weekend,

rebecca minkoff mac
my, or rather, our parcel came last night!
finally!
it's rebecca minkoff!
again.
i ordered straight from their website this time round just because they've got the latest colours.
introducing the morning after clutch [mac]!
the mini one in blood red is sunya's and the navy regular is mine.
p/s: the macs look darker in real life.
i managed to tempt sunya into getting one together with me and i ordered hers even before it was available online!
all thanks to nicole who took my order over the phone.
she was so nice and patient.
wonderful customer service over at rebecca minkoff.
the size difference is more apparent here.
the mini is 20% smaller than the regular mac.
actually, i think hers isn't a mini and mine is simply a giant!
it can even hold a 500ml bottle with ease!
one characteristic of rebecca minkoff's bags is that they come in different linings and the respective dustbags.
sunya's is the latest leopard lining and mine is the kiss lining.
i've got no idea why it's called the kiss lining though.
stuff that i carry in it to let you have an idea how roomy it is.
handphone, wallet, pouches, keys and mirror.
bascially, i love the bag.
it's compact and yet roomy to hold my daily essentials.
what's more?
there are 4 ways to carry it- over the shoulder [doubled/ singled], crossbody and as a clutch when you remove the chain.
but.
i just cant get over the distressed leather of mine.
it looks so mad crumpled.
i hope it will mm.. not look so distressed with use.
oh well.
nevertheless, i'm having my eyes set on the next rebecca minkoff mac.
i so want a mini too!
p/s:
i would say that rebecca minkoff bags are worth the money because the leather of my black mam is so mad soft that i can easily hug it to sleep.
this, has been proven by others too.
even the tassles are ultra soft.
and..
i ABSOLUTELY love love love my mam!

the previous saturday was winnie's 21st birthday party at costa sands.
my task that day was to pick up her cake from lana.
oh my..
we had special order.
hahaha.
the party went on fine and we sort of got to know her friends.
and her friends kept calling me 表姐!
weird man!
the only photo i took with my phone.
the deco on the cake was so much nicer than mine back then.
i told godma that i was jealous.
hahaha.
anyway.
the cake didn't look like special order,
but it really was.
要吃才会知道..
the four of us stayed for the night at the chalet and it was MAD cramped.
totally didn't sleep that night.
we went for harry potter the next day and it was pretty good.
i can't believe the series lasted for 10 years.
it sure doesn't feel that way.
moving on.
the three of us, excluding my bro, celebrated winnie's birthday at melt the world cafe at mandarin oriental hotel.
the buffet wasn't fantastic.
here are a few recommendations of ours.
- pasta in cream sauce [winnie]
this is the ONLY 'main' of the lot.
- plain bread with butter [winnie]
- multigrain/ multinuts bread with butter [me]
this is by far the most 香 bread i've eaten before.
like.. OH MY GOD.
- the melt [winnie/ me]
it's a rich, bitter chocolate cake.
- blackforest [us]
just super nice.
hahaha.
-belgium waffle with chocolate ice cream [winnie/ me]
it was the day's special.
the waffle was very crispy!
some chocolate larva thingy [becca]
super nice too.
cappuccino which tasted not too bad.
that sums up our reccomendations.
mainly desserts.

we're just bread lovers!
because i was asked if we were celebrating a special occasion when i called to make reservation,
the cafe prepared a chocolate cake for winnie, a card which had a photo of us and a birthday song?
hahahaha!
the cake was good.
but we were far too full to stomach it.
we ended up taking it away.
after lunch, becca went back to work whereas winnie and i went shopping.
for dinner, i met up with pet while she met up with her friends.
something irritating happened that day and i was complaining like crazy to pet who literally thought i was just making a huge fuss.
after dinner, i sent winnie and friends home since we stay sort of nearby.
yesh.
moving on.
as for today,
i decided to take a break and went ikea tampines with winnie for lunch.
oh man!
the meatballs are so nice!!
afterwhich, we did grocery shopping at century square.
we literally bought ALOT of stuff.
winnie was like "我们都不住在这里, 跑到这里来买.. = ="
hahahahaha!
