Funk...

Is anyone else in a funk? Well, I am. Thus, a lack of postings. I hate the weather, I hate the cold, I hate the snow. Why do I live in Cache Valley again? I do this every year until spring, summer and fall roll around, which are amazing here in the boonies. I can't wait to do yard work, to play outside, to set up the new pool we bought Molly (this is mostly for me), to go golfing, to see the sun, to breathe air that isn't apparantly going to cause respiratory problems when I'm old, I'm just done. Every February a fog settles over my brain. Even at work I just feel distracted and I can't focus. All I'm saying is, "Sun please come back."

Molly update....

Sorry, no pictures. I am planning on putting up some video soon but have been super lazy. It seems like lately Molly is changing every minute so I suppose it is time for an update. She is 10 1/2 months old. After coming to the conclusion that my daughter might never crawl, it finally clicked. She had been doing this awkward army crawl/stomach flop action for the last month. Within the last couple of days she just started going. I'm not sure if it was my daily demos but I might take some credit. She still prefers to stand if it is an option. She makes laps around the table in our family room and usually finds something she can spill or isn't supposed to have. I can't tell you how many times I have had to do the finger sweep in her mouth. It used to infuriate her but I think she has gotten used to it. Speaking of her mouth, her top two front teeth are almost in. She has been a little whiny but more cuddly which has been nice. She still sleeps through the night and takes two 2-hour naps. She has found her voice and loves to scream, whether she is happy or mad. She has already started to throw tantrums. I'm not sure what to do. When she does it I just walk away or ignore her but this doesn't seem to deter her. Any advice? Does this usually start so soon? Is this a sign of things to come?

Other than screaming she says the typical mama, dada, she "moo's" and tries to "oink" and "meow". She loves any animal she comes in contact with in life or book. Lately she likes to look through her books by herself and has to turn the page when reading with someone else. She loves to look at pictures. She loves to give kisses, regular with a lot of tongue, and eskimo. She loves to wave, clap and is working on blowing kisses. Last Sunday while Kade was taking her out during Sunday School she waved to the class as they left, she got quite the laugh. Already a smart-allic. She will eat pretty much anything and only makes faces if something is hot or cold, give her a lemon and she doesn't even flinch. She likes to watch Classical Baby, Baby Einstein and Sesame Street while mom or dad get ready. She loves music; Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, anything with a good beat. She is very spoiled and is usually a very good baby. I can waste the whole day just playing with her. I try to pretend like I actually got something accomplished when Kade gets home, but little does he know Molly and I just sang and played all day.
