Kade and I left on Friday for a quick trip to Denver to go to the first Bronco's game of the season. Kade assured me that it is just like driving to Las Vegas so I was down. We went up through Bear Lake, Wyoming and eventually to Colorado. The game was on Saturday and we came home on Sunday. So it was a quick trip but gave me plenty of opportunities to make some important observations and life lessons:
1. Wyoming sucks! This picture is small but it is of one of many trailer parks spotted on our unbelievably long drive. However, if you are by chance looking for a trailer with a view call 1-800- Wyoming.
2. Fun Fact: The origianl Little America Hotel is in Wyoming. It was a special place. They advertise along the Highway the whole way through the state. The only highlight of Wyoming came from the 50 cent ice cream cones at Little America.
3. When I first witnessed the football players running out of the head of a bronco I was confused about why such a tradition gets people so excited, but then I realized that everyone in the stadium besides the two of us was at least on their 2nd beer.
5. And last but not least, Kade was able to realize his dream of playing football on the bronco's field right next to his heroes. (Or at least as close as he would ever get.)
