Birthday

Thank you to everyone for a great birthday. I had a great day! I got to see a lot of my family the day before when I went to Ariel's baby shower which was a blast! It was great to see everyone! I woke up and started cleaning the house when Kade came in and told me that he was taking the day off of work and to get ready because we were going to Logan. So we went to Logan and ran some errands and went to lunch. Then he took me shopping. Then that evening we went out to dinner with Kade's family at this new restaurant in town called Blackstone. I had a killer black bean tostada salad! And the cheesecake was to die for! It was such a nice day and it was awesome to relax and spend a whole day with Kade! I guess I should post a picture of myself for my birthday but I took this picture of Brynly that night and it cracked me up.

TV

Kade's parents decided to do some remodeling on their house and decided they wanted to get a plasma for their family room. They had bought this big screen a few years ago right before the plasmas came out so they called us and asked if we wanted it (yeah, we are pretty spoiled!). I thought about saying no but I knew that this answer would forever affect my marriage so I said yes. We did have one problem, it was so big we didn't really have a place to put it. Our family room is really long but narrow. However, there was a bar in the corner of the family room that was fairly ridiculous and we didn't have a clue what to do with it so we talked about the possibility of ripping it out so we could put the tv there. I came home the next day and there was Kade surrounded by saws and dust and the bar was gone. Brynly thought she was a big help! So we tiled the floor and painted and tucked the tv right back there and it worked out perfectly. Now we can't figure out how we ever watched tv on our old tv.

Update

Sorry I haven't really been keeping up this month. School has been crazy but I thought I owed it to everyone who listened to my ranting about the Praxis (that test that I had to take), I passed with flying colors! This upcoming week is my last week of classes before finals but I only have one test, all of my others are final projects so it shouldn't be too bad. Anywho, I promise to put something enlightening up soon!

Dedicated to Amy & Emilio

So my mom finally sent me some pictures from the tubing trip at my house. When I saw Amy's picture of she and Emilio dancing I had to reflect on Jamal and to be honest his stupidity. I'm convinced that he is completely loveable but in no way trainable. He just doesn't get it. For example, when I tried to teach him to sit, lay down and roll over I got this freakishly awkward front flip. None the less he still got a treat. Anywho, this picture was taken when some others were on the snowmobile and tube and I didn't want him chasing them so I told him to sit. Apparently, he thought that I wanted him on my lap. This is for Emilio!
