Carving Pumpkins!

A few days ago, we got to carve pumpkins! We had so much fun. Chloe actually carved Peyton's pumpkin because the one she got from Grammy and Grampy is ginormous and I think we are going to decorate it instead of carving it. Chloe was not fond of getting her hands dirty, but had no problem telling me exactly how to carve it.

We went over to the May's house and all three boys carved their own pumpkins. When did everyone get so big?!? Kyle's job was to watch Peyton, so they hung out in the background, but I think everyone had a really great time!

Digital Scrapbooking

So, I am thinking about doing digital scrapbooking. Costco will print out 12x12 sheets, so I thought it might be fun. Here is my first attempt at it...

Peyton's Blessing Day

Today was such a special day for our family. Peyton was blessed in our church. We had so many members of our family come to church with us to participate. I am so grateful to the support and love of our families. It made her blessing day such a great experience. Thank you to all of you who took the time to join us this afternoon. It was really appreciated!
Peyton is wearing the same blessing dress that Chloe wore on her blessing day. The resemblance between the two of them is remarkable.

My mom had this blessing dress made for me when I was in high school. I remember thinking when she had it made that I was probably never going to have any girls. Who would have thought that I would have two girls who would get to wear this dress.

Peyton also had her 2 month old check-up on Friday. She is 22 inches long and weighs 11 pounds 1 ounce. She is getting so big. She is pretty healthy but we have to work on stretching out her neck muscles and practice 'tummy time'.

Who Would Have Thought?

Who would have thought 11 years ago that Kyle would one day be painting his little girl's toenails just because she asked him to? Chloe certainly has him wrapped around her little finger! I think they are pretty cute together!
