Happy Birthday MOM

Mom I wish I could be with you today to celebrate your Birthday!! Your such a wonderful Mother and Grandmother! My parents b-days are three days apart. My Dad is exactly three days older then my Mom. To quote Mom, " I always knew I would marry an older man."

Hiking we will go

We had such a beautiful Presidents Day weekend down here in Sunny Southern Utah. It was hard to stay in doors. We discovered there was a hike right in our own neighborhood that we had never hiked (Janette thanks for the tip) Macie and I hiked it on Sunday afternoon. It was so fun we took all the boys on the hike the next morning.

Nate was such a trooper. He walked the whole way up and most of the way down.

The boys hiked all the way to the top of that peak. Macie twisted her ankle and her an I waited mid way for the boys to return. Gotta love the red rocks!

Valentines Weekend

I just figured out how to use my scanner, all you do is push the button that says scan, imagine that. Here I am with my Valentine of 11 years. We had a great weekend, we went to the annual Kanab Stake Sweethearts Ball on Saturday night. They serve a nice meal, have dancing and a floor show. Clay and I have been in our ward's floor show 4 years in a row. He is such a good sport. However he already has plans for next years Valentines Day and they involve being out of town. My friend gave me the idea last year to involve the kids in a candle light dinner for V-day. We repeated it again this year and I think it has become a tradition.

Jake and Pres Uchtdorf

This is my brother Jake and his soon to be wife Kaycee with Pres Uchtdorf. Jake is in his senior year at the Air Force Academy. He graduates this May and will be married three days later. Jake will then go to pilot training. Pres Uchtdorf is a pilot too. Recently he toured the US Air Force Academy and Jake was with him most of the day. Jake was able to present him a gift from the academy. I can't believe this kid gets all the breaks, can you imagine having lunch with an Apostle of the Lord?

Gymnastics Performance

Friday night Macie's gymnastics class performed at a half time for the Kanab Cowboys!
