knee surgery!

well i survived my surgery. it actually went really well. the second day it hurt really bad and i wanted to chop my leg off, but other than that its been really good. for some reason i don't really respond to pain meds. just once i want to be loopy! hahah j/k. anyway, here are some pics. the one is when i first got home from the hospital and the others are when i finally got to take my bandages off and shower. after not being able to shower for three days it felt so good! thanks to all who came and visited me and thought of me. hopefully this thing works and i'll be as good as new!

mesa rabbits!

yesterday jaycie, savanna, and i had a little too much fun on our car ride to karissa's cheer competition. {we took some fun pics in the car as you can see.} yesterday was the 2008 state cheer competition and my mesa high bunnies were competing. of course i had to watch the competition so i joined jaycie, savanna, and my parents. mesa did really well and karissa did well even though she has a retarded arm. {she dislocated her elbow at a cheer competition in november and they haven't been able to get it straight again.} they got third place behind xaivier and deer valley. they had some tough competition and still got third out of 9 teams! mesa's five man stunt group did well too. they got third place out of 26 behind xaiver and dobson. congrats to mesa high cheer and good luck at nationals next week!

oh and i decided that you know you are old when you see something you use to love doing and the first thing that comes to your mind is the pain you will be in if you try it again. when i watch cheer competitions it makes me miss cheer, but now i think about the pain i would be in if i cheered again. my body is on the down hill already. sad.
