Jordan Family

We took some family photos this summer with everyone so I finally have an updated picture of our family! The one of Jeremiah and Jonathan I think is especially darling, but I am biased. :)

For Grandma

Because Grandma requested some more photos of the boys, here are a few of the things we have been up to this summer.

The Annual File Cleaning.
The best part of this event is shredding up the old files and then having an indoor snow storm!

We have two rules: the paper stays in the office room and they help to clean up afterwards.  General mayhem but a ton of fun.

The Primary Summer Activity.

Our theme this summer was The Armor of God.  The kids got to go to different stations and create their own individual armor to wear.  The shields were my favorite - we found a steal on pizza cardboard rounds and added a couple of zip ties.  Jonathan loves to wear his "helmet".  Oddly enough it was the few odd deacons who attended with younger siblings who really, really got into this activity. And they thought they were too cool to come to a Primary event.   :)

Jonathan's Second Birthday.
Jonathan turned two this year! His cousin, Divya, also has a birthday on the same day.  My amazing sister-in-law throws some incredible birthday parties and let us tag along as a part of her Red Riding Hood themed event this year.  She even came up with the idea of making wolf masks for all the kids to have and wear.  Aren't they cute?

First Backyard Campout.
This was the first year we decided to have our own backyard campout.  The boys were nearly besides themselves with excitement.  We borrowed a tent (thanks Pop!) and did our own s'mores.  Bobby cleverly created a small side fire for the boys to use to roast their own marshmallows on. Or he just propped their marshmallows up between two rocks.  Both ways worked.

April and May

Summer has finally come on full force now.  We broke out the popsicle mold to celebrate.

Of course, the washing machine is also doing double duty now too...

I tried to take a few photos of the boys just because it has been a while since I got a decent looking portrait type photo.  Jonathan bumped him head on the bedframe not five minutes before I tried to take these.  Of course a nasty red bump showed up immediately.   Ha ha ha! I just had to include the "out takes" as well.  Loved Jeremiah's last facial expression: it is him to perfection.
