Mt Charleston

Yesterday we headed up to Mt. Charleston for something to do. We were suppose to go to Utah but because Charlie was running a fever we didn't go. We rode up and had lunch at the restaurant and let the kids run around a little bit. Brinlee wants to live in the mountains. The kids had a blast and it was nice and cool. Here are a few pictures I snap of the kids.

I want to cut my hair like this!

I have been trying to grow my hair out for some time now. It has been the biggest struggle. My hair grows so slow and I can't stand it on my neck. I am sick of having the same old bob haircut I have had since the 11th grade. So if I get the itch I might do something like this. Maybe I just really want to look like her. My husband would love my hair to be this short. I am not sure if I have the guts to do it!

New Game

Charlie (above)

Haden (above)

Here is the new game at our house. Kenny flips their shirts and puts it on their head. They think it is so funny. They chase each other around the house giggling. I have got to get it on video.

Dance

I put Brinlee in a summer dance class. I always wanted to take dance when I was a kid but got more involved with sports and never had the time. I wanted Brinlee to be able to try out a few different things before we commit to something. She has loved going and loves to look at herself in the mirror as she dances. :)

Over the Summer we have been.....

We have really been enjoying our summer. Well I have because I am not worried about Brinlee getting to and from school. Brinlee and I went to Lake Powell in June with my family. Kenny stayed home with the twins and let me enjoy my favorite vacation being at the lake. Brinlee had a blast with all of her cousins and she even learned how to ski. All of my sisters were there and we really missed this guy...

My brother Jacob is serving in El Salvador. We are so proud of him and miss him a ton! We then decided to make our way to Alamo for the 4th of July. We love going and staying at my grandmothers house. Brinlee loves to go see Ryder her favorite boy cousin. Yes they ran the race holding hands. It was adorable even though they lost.

Sneeky little boy!

I came into the family room and found this little boy with no pants or diaper! He thought he was so funny. I have other pictures but it shows his stuff. So we will save those for his baby book. Charlie is my giggly, smiley, happy little man. He laughs at almost anything but especially Brinlee. He thinks she is hilarious!

Haden & Charlie's First Birthday Party

We had the boys party last night. I tried not to go to overboard with the party planning. We had a family party with pizza and cake. It was so nice to have everyone come and spend this special day together. This last year has been hard but we have been blessed with such wonderful little boys. They are so much fun and I can't imagine our lives without them. I had to include a little picture of Brinlee. She loves helping me bake!

We are 1

My boys turned one yesterday. I honestly can not believe it. It has gone by quick. We spent their birthday at home with allergies and runny noses. We will celebrate in a few days. Just wanted to share picture and let you see how far we have come in the last year.

Charlie Jacob: He is a climber. This kid has mastered climbing on the couch and everything else he can find. He is happy playing by himself and loves to play with his sister.

Haden David: He is quick to learn. he is always the first to do everything. He has been walking for a month now and he is quick. He loves his mom and doesn't tolerate Brinlee as well. He knows how old he is and puts up one finger when you ask him.

It has been awhile

I haven't realized how long it has been since my last post. Our family has had a lot going on. Kenny's brother Richard passed away suddenly on January 16. We have all taken it rather hard and are all trying to stumble through the grieving process. He will be greatly missed. Thank you for all the phone calls, letter, and kind words. We have been really blessed with such wonderful family and close friends. The picture with Kennys siblings is the last one of the four of them together. It was taken on Kenny's 32nd birthday.

My boys are turning 1 in a week. I can't believe how fast it has really gone. I thought I would have lost my mind during this last year. However I only lost it a handful of times! I will update the boys on their birthday. The last picture is apparently how we do timeout, in pairs.

Christmas 2010

Christmas was so fun now having three kids. We actually did the Santa thing at our house! Brinlee was excited to see Santa brought her the pink Barbie car she has been asking for. The boys were more thrilled with the wrapping paper than their new bikes. Then it was off to Grandma Bingham's for presents and breakfast. All three came out like bandits. Then to the Grandma Sorensen's for yet another round of presents. Then the Stewart family all gathers and exchanges gifts. So fun to see all the cousins. Then to top it all off we go to Aunt Georgia's for more gifts. We were all exhausted after opening presents and crashed for a good three hour nap. My kids are so spoiled! They have way to many toys to play with. We had a great time and loved having the boys to celebrate with.

Our Thanksgiving Picture

We have one other family picture and it isn't a very good one. So I made Cortney take this of us right after we just stuffed our faces. We had a great day eating with both families and taking a really long nap. Can't get better than that!
p.s Kenny is holding Charlie and by the way he is wearing 0-3 month clothes and is 8 months old. He is my little man!

We couldn't wait!

I am so excited for Christmas I wanted to put my tree up right after Halloween. Kenny wouldn't let me. So instead we put it up on Saturday and decorated the house. I love this time of year and wish it was longer.

Haden Sweating to the Oldies!

My sister Erica put this on his head. He thought he was so funny. He wore it around the house for a couple of hours.

7 MONTHS OLD!

My boys are seven months old. I can't believe how fast it has gone. They have changed so much in the last month. They are crawling all over the place. They are also pulling themselves up and standing against furniture. Now Brinlee walked at 9 months and I am thinking they will be close to that. They love to eat and are holding their own bottles for a few minutes at a time. They are very happy and love being talked to.
