I stamped and heat embossed on dark teal card stock and
colored with Castle Arts Metallic pencils before fussy cutting.
A cut and emboss die was used to die cut a frame out of
metallic card stock. I backed the frame with the same card stock I stamped on.
The white background was embossed with an embossing folder.

Greeting Card Box Set

I think everyone could use a greeting card every once in a while, so why not create a Greeting Card Box Set to give as a gift?

Hey there! I'm here today with my latest project for CutCardStock.

Lessebo Colors AMAZON Dark Teal Card StockCougar NATURAL Card Stock ,  Stardream Metallic COPPER Card Stock, Digital Alcohol Ink Patterned Paper on Cougar Natural Card

Cards

Start by making a set of 6, A2 cards by cutting 3, 8 1/2 x 11 inch pieces of Cougar Natural Card Stock in half at 5 1/2 inches along the 11 inch side. Score each of these pieces in half at 4 1/4 inches along the 8 1/2 inch side and fold.

Next I cut the 8 x 8 inch piece of pattern paper into 6 pieces. Two pieces are rectangular and the other 4 are triangular.

6 pieces of the Copper Metallic card stock are cut to mat the pattern paper.

Adhere the mats to the pattern paper. I cut 2 smaller rectangular pieces of pattern paper and matting.

Add the above pieces to the card bases.

Die cut sentiment out of the Lessebo
Amazon Teal Card Stock.

Adhere the sentiments to the cards. Add some gems to complete.

Box Construction

I start the box construction with an 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of Lessebo Amazon Card Stock. Score this piece at 1 3/4 and 6 3/4 inches along the 8 1/2 inch side.

Turn to the 11 inch side and score at 2 3/4 inches to the 1st score line and from the 2nd score line to the lower edge. This will be the back part of the box.

Also score at 6 and 7 3/4 inches all the way down.

Take and turn this card stock to your right. Cut diagonally from the score lines on either side down the the outer edges on either side to the 1st score line.

Cut along the 2 lower score lines from the outside edge to the inner score lines on either side.

Fold along the score lines. Add adhesive to the edge pieces of the 2 lower panels as shown in photo below.

Bring the back of the box up and adhere the 2 small tabs to the inside.

Lastly, bring the bottom up and adhere the side flaps.

Box Embellishment

With the box construction complete, we can embellish.

I am adding some of the pattern paper, pieces of solid card stock and die cuts.

A piece of pattern paper measuring 4 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches covers the back panel of the box.

Strips of 1 1/2 inch wide Ivory card stock wrap around the center of the box.

A rectangular die cut goes on next, with a 1 1/4 inch strip of pattern paper over it.

3 die cuts are added with some gems to the box.

Place the cards with coordinating envelopes into the box and the project is complete.

Happy Thursday!

Have you started working on holiday project?
The holidays will be here before we know it, if you can believe it.
It's hard for me to believe so.
This year is going quickly!

I have been working on a few projects and have one to share today.
This is a set of 2 ornaments created with the Prickley Pear stamp set, Holly Jolly Christmas from

I colored the 2 snowman stamps with Prismacolor Pencils.
They were fussy cut before adding to the ornaments, which are
comprised of scalloped die cuts, plastic snowflakes and rosettes.
I added oval die cuts cut with the Prickly Pear Scalloped Oval Die from
The "Merry Christmas" sentiments were stamped from
the stamp set used and heat embossed.
I added a snowflake to one of the ornaments and a bow to the other.
Twine was added as the hanger on both.

Halloween Wall Hanging

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing my 1st Clear Scraps Design Team project for the month of October!

If you like Halloween, Clear Scraps has all kinds of great products that

make it easy to create cute, fun and/or scary projects.

I have put together a little cute and fun Halloween Wall Hanging.

At least, that’s what I’m calling it.

This piece could be hung on the wall as part of a grouping, or

maybe added to a wreath, or just above shelf with a Halloween vignette.

I am using 3 Clear Scraps products.

Blank Wood Card - these come in a pack of 2 and measure 3.75” x 5.75” and have 2 side holes.

Bat Mini Pallet Shape

Spooky Chipboard Word Title

The first thing I did is paint the bat and the “spooky” word with black acrylic paint.

Next I painted both wood cards with purple acrylic paint. I did 2 coats. Then did a small amount of dry brushing with black paint.

I die cut a large circle out of gold metallic card stock to replicate a moon and printed a cute ghost digi onto white card stock and tore around the edges.

The 2 wood cards were tied together with bakers twine.

Time to add embellishments to the base.

Start with the circle die cut, a white rectangle and the cute ghost digi.

Fashion tails for a bow by twisting a piece of ribbon and adhere to the top of the base. Add the bat and “spooky” word title.

Make a single loop bow.

Add the bow and some glittered twigs to complete.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my project.
