60 sing dollars for a pair of Topshop formal trouser. Is it expensive? I am in dilemma....abit tight to fit size 8. Maybe due to the thermal pant i wearing. Should i get or should i not....Pls help me out!! The price is abit steep...but is already 50% reduction.
Whole newcastle is having sale...up to 70%. Yesh tommorrow checking out the new year sale!! YEsh!!!
Just came back from Salisbury . Quite sad, they donot have any reduced veggies or fruits. I ended up brought a loaf of bread, 4 cookies, 2 danish pastry, 2 pots of yogurt, 2 packets of salad and a big bag of onions. Having a difficult time bringing the stuffs back home, the walking pavement was slippery as it was filled with ice. Walking is a hinder to me now....

2006 Resolution
2006 is coming. The end of a year is going to arrive. Is the time to make a new year resolution and look back at the things I did in 2005.

- Jan 2005 ---> Came back from an enriching trip( Vietnam), Lost some weight.
- Feb 2005 ---> Celebrated Valentine day with my best pal... sang to the fullest!
- March 2005---> Busy with school work, Got the best grades ever!
- April 2005 ---> Holidays meanwhile suffering in CPTC ( horrible place but i did enjoy the interaction i had with my poly mates.)
- May 2005---> Started with the last schooling semester in NP.
- June 2005 ---> Struggling with the school work.
- July 2005---> Spending my birthday in school rushing for WISP project, luckily 2 of my gd poly mates planned a rather nice surprise for me at home.
- Aug 2005---> Busy ever...Headache making decision
- Sep 2005 ---> Exams....Time to head to Newcastle..Mixture of feelings
- Oct 2005---> Working in Newcastle, first time living alone. Got a disappointing result.
- Nov 2005---> Enjoying singlehood... Looking on the bright side
- Dec 2005 ---> Fully understand the work i am handling. Italy sightseeing not too bad. Gained weight..OMG!!
- Obtain my ideal weight
- An opportunity to further my education
- Spend quality time with my family and friends
- Pick up a new sport ( dancing )
- Complete my attachment with a gd testimonial from Prof. Paul
- Meet someone new
- Change my appearance
- Pierce my earlobes
- Trim my hair but not sniping them off
- Make changes to my room layout

Home counting down a month's time
All i want for 2006 is get back to singapore ASAP!!
Proceed on the next phase of my life,
No matter what it will be like...( fingers crossed),
Whether it is ideal or non ideal...
I shall live on....although fate is set upon my own hands but for me
I think my fate has already set its own path without allowing me to decide....
Right now i will put in my best performance for the coming 1 month.... hopefully my attachment will has a very nice ending. Pray for me please!!
Went to italy for the past 13 days....
Seen the good and bad about italy....hopping from one places to another..
Draining the last straw energy of me.
I am really very tired..
Give me back the sunny sun and the warmth showered on me by my family and friends.
13 days spent in italy, left me a very strong feeling.....
First time backpacking.
First time been conned.
First time encountered flight cancellation due to heavy snow fall, had to spend one night in the lousy airport.
First time travelling without a female companion.
First time travelling without buying much stuffs.
First time seen some much ancient ruins.
First time eating so much sweet stuffs within a day.
First time ever got the thought of running back home asap!!

I will be away for 12 days...to Italy!! Praying hard ( Hopefully will be fun) Planning to eat Gelato...

Coming back from Italy, work will be a challange to me. My mentor is going back to China for one and a half months. I will be working alone and working on Fuel cell, for which i was given 2 days training!! Hopefully, i can make it!! mUst not fail my mentor's expectation!!
Will be back on the 28 dec....will be resting till 29 dec..then i will post my photos....
School reopen on 3 JAn...however i went off early..therefore i will work during New Year Period!! Looking forward to New Year!! MAking new year Resolution soon upon my return to UK.

See we are seperated by a highway.....KJE!!
When i just shifted to my current place, KJE was still under construction. That time, Xia's family and mine family will meet each other and spend our lazy weekends afternoon cycling on the newly built highway. Speeding along the KJE, with our mighty legs pedalling as hard as we could. Those enjoyable times we did have...so nice!! Both of our brother learned how to cycle on this particular highway.... Haha...This particular highway will always bring back fond memories of my childhood.
Nice to share with U guys some of my grandma's stories!!!

Today is a very nice day!!!完美的一天

Today is a perfect day for me !!! 完美的一天 ;)
Why?
This afternoon, one of the boss from liverpool paid a visit to our lab again!! Of course, there was free lunch after the little visit of his. The lunch was held at the old library cluster, i had a baked cod in scallots and thyme, accompanied with a bottle of "Fanta" ( carbonated lemonade with sweetner). The cod was in baked in a cream based sauce with bacons bits, scallots and some thyme. I was allowed to choose 2 sides dishes to accompany my baked cod. The 2 side dishes i chosen were boiled brussel sprouts and ginger shredded cabbage. My whole main course cost about 4.75 pounds not inclusive of the drink. So expensive!! Must pray hard....that the liverpool boss come often!!
Then went back to my lab, continue with my assigned experiments......Did UV- Vis experiment, did some data entry for my results...plotting graphs....with my full stomach!!
Out of the mist of my work, i stumbled across the school website......."Tonight they having a carolling service in one of the churches in the city center." They stated that there will be free wines and mincepies and performances. I was so delighted, logged in to MSN....to ask the guys whether they want to accompany me or not!! 4.30pm le.... experiments did finish...so decide to make my way home!! WeeeeeeeeeH! Flew home to come online and chatted with my brother & mum online. Heard some gd news, so happy!! And chatted with some friends over MSN, happily chatting...while waiting for Delwyn to get ready.
6pm left house, went to St Thomas. The whole church was lighted, however the main entrance was dark. Both of us thought that we were late, maybe the person in charge shut the entrance. We walked around the church, desperately to find a back door entrance. However we did not manage to....so like abit gave up hope. I went to the main entrance and push the door, the glass door opened. The entrance was dark, after the glass entrance door there was another main door. I pushed open the main door, the priest was conducting a service. Both of us were looking at each other, thinking are we in the correct place? Haha..till i saw the name tag on one of the people in charge..saw the Uni logo. Yes is the correct place. One song was sung...which brought back some secondary school days feeling. I do like carolling...i love the songs that the church usually sing. Very nice...especially my sec days where every start of the school term, there will be mass which i was forced to attand. Those days were like, so hot in the hall, with my tie in my collar, somemore must endure the numbness in my knees where sitting with my legs cross-legged. AiloooYa!!! Mary lah....all that would be humming in my hot head.
KK, back to the carolling...
The christmas song was sung...then priest said " okie this is the last song! Please enjoy the wine, orange juice and mincepies." Heheh.....time for eating!! The mincepie is very nice, i think it is only available during Christmas season. It contains raisins, orange peel and some sweet stuffs. I ate 2 of it....and drank one glass of wine. Not born with a sweet tooth, the bitter wine was nice companion to have with the sweet mincepie. Oh ya...we were so delighted to find out the mincepie we ate were from the "Greggs" each cost about 60 pences. Wah save alot!! Happy!!
After the eating and drinking, we went to city center to shop and walked around. I was telling Delwyn whether Ferwrick having any reduced price sandwiches. Cos everytime i passed by Ferwrick i wanted to taste their Damn nice sandwiches.....but they are very expensive. Hence we went in and true enough. They having some reduced price sandwiches. haha very happy got each other a sandwich. Each cost 1.10 pounds. Olsen never came along with us..dun know whether he want so never get for him. After all, he is a walking boney...not need to eat one loh!! I sure kena from him!!
Then went to the Christmas Fair....saw alot nice sweets, chocolates and fudges.....Lucky i not that carve for them. They had christmas tree make of chocolates...very nice!! I sampled on some cheese and sausages. OMg the dried sausages like uncooked meat....very horrible!! The cheese was very nice... Maybe i will get some home from Amsterdam!! DEpends on My $$
Then went to CO-ops, to get some stuffs...and went home!!
So fruitful....is really a 完美的一天 !!!

Deadbeat
Recently for the past few days I had been burning midnight oil till 2am. Writing the interim report was not a simple task, personal think that it was far worst than lab report. The details of my project was not stated clearly to me, hence I had to do a lot of research on that. Going through websites, reading scientific papers and referring to textbooks. Something like doing the final year project, where Lesey and I usually stayed back in school mugging to do research without any productivity. At least final year project was a group work based therefore not that bad. The objectives of the final year project were stated in details; the concept behind was what I had learned throughout for the past 2 and half years in NP. The attachment project’s concept is electrochemistry, a field that I am barely studied or trained in except during sec 4. The chemistry theory is like redox reaction, protons, electrons and electron transfer. So different from what I had studied in NP, where I calculated mass and energy transfer (my key interest), energy balance, flow rate and scaling of pumps.
I love mass transfer…very much!!
No pain no gain…. I really do like Chemical engineering a lot, although fuel cell is also consider as one of the applications of chemical engineering. Hopefully in the future, my work is something associated with my passion. Something challenging and interesting, last but no least with an attractive income!! Hmm….

I love Museli
I simply love it!!! Swiss style Museli ( S$ 3.60)
I had being eating it about 3 times a day....WAh...Too much....with skimmed milk....
But i simply cannot resist......
Feeling very bad.....
WHen i am done with my interim report(I wonder when), i am going to jog. Haha depends on the weather!! Sat Must Must go......
And also with 2 Rich Tea Biscuits.......a best combo with a cup of hot chocolate........

Had a full blast weekend ever.....
A late update on my last weekend,
Went to Scotland's highland, Skye and Loch ness. Sunny, clear blue sky...And snowy mountains...Everything under the sun...In the freaky cold weather...
If is the summer, I think I can jump into the clear water or paddle the boat catching salmon.
I love Scotland.... I love the feeling and everything including the SIngle malt Whiskey which relieve my cold body into warmness.....
One thing to note: I never brought a single thing..... Singapore has everything. No point buying... Since my dad don't want to buy whiskey. Intended to buy whiskey toffee...But abit ex... Sweet only wad..Nothing special... Hahha
