Just because

I took these pictures after church last week.

I think they are just so adorable.

I LOVE this dress. So cute and one of my favorite bargains ever--$1.99 on clearance!

Ice Castles

Friday night Richard and I went to Midway to see the Ice Castles.

Some were large enough to walk through or under. The blue color comes out naturally in the ice.

Beautiful!

Dance Recital

Bryndi had her dance recital from Fairy Tale Dance class a couple of weeks ago. So cute.

I love this picture. She's wearing her Alice in Wonderland costume and watching the teacher intently.
Side to side. Side to side.

Brooke, (name unknown), Bryndi and Melia

Having fun!
At the end, they all did a bow.

Now THAT is quite a bow.
Time to run off stage!

No diapers?

Just giving a shout out to Bella, who at 2 1/2, is potty trained! I'm so proud of her. Three days with no accidents!! Now we get a couple of weeks sans diapers at our house before we start all over again :)

And speaking of a couple of weeks left (Yes only 18 days till due date!) I just want to say thank you to my brother who asked me this morning if I was 7 months along now? and to my old co-worker who I ran into at the grocery store yesterday who asked how far along I was and when I said 3 weeks left she looked shocked and said, "You don't look that far along! No fair!" Much better than people saying, Wow--are you having twins? or You like you're going to pop any second now!

Sewing project: Car seat covers

My cousin Lindsey posted pics of a car seat cover that she had sewn on Facebook. So I decided to try it!
This one I made for my sister Kelly, who's having a boy.
This one is for our little girl. It was really fun to make! The link on how to make it is on the next caption.

25 days and counting...

So the other night Bella unzipped her sleeper and stuffed it with a blanket so her tummy would look like mine. Then Bryndi had to do it too. Here are the 3 of us big belly girls!

We get to meet the new baby girl in only 3 1/2 weeks!!!

Sushi Party!

Last week we had a sushi party. Had some friends over and all made our own sushi rolls. It was so much fun and so delicious!

The table of aftermath. We had 2 trays of sushi rice, nori (seaweed) for wrapping, soy paper for those of us who are not fans of nori, different sauces, and the following in bowls for fillings: avocado, cilantro, crab, shrimp, scallops, cucumber, cream cheese, yellow chili peppers, and  macadamia nuts.
Richard did a wonderful job of teaching us the techniques.

Laura's first ever bite of sushi!!
Bo's rolls were very well put together.

I think Felix could eat sushi every day!

KaeLynn and Sybil loving their rolls too.

Jason held his together to eat them. Its all about the taste.

Even the kids ate some sushi :)

Christmas 2010

Okay, so I only took a few pictures at Christmas, and it was 3 weeks ago, but better late than never. Last Christmas my friend Bryndi bought a darling tea set for Bryndi, but I had already gotten her one. So I decided to keep it for a year and give it to her this Christmas. It was perfect. She and Bella love it! Bryndi even brought the tea set with her to Preschool for the "Mystery Bag" (like show-and-tell).

Bella got a "Lady" from Lady and the Tramp.
She carries her around with her everywhere!

They got lip gloss and nail polish too. Gotta love that!

Richard putting together a puppet theater for the girls. Santa got them a LOT of puppets to go with it.
