All-Occasion Seed Packets: Free Graphics

It all started with baby peas. Recently, I posted how to create tiny pea pod pendants, and the very next week I found a vintage peas seed packet among my ephemera stash. So I went about scanning and modifying it to create a little gift packet to hold the necklace for placing in a gift box. (Feel free to snag the image below for yourself!) Next thing I know, with little packets on the brain, I’m designing more and more with fun bright graphics. I saved each individual packet image large enough for you to use at any size printable on a letter size sheet. To access the graphics, simply click on an image and drag it into a file. Then place within your open software page and adjust the size(s) to your liking. Here are a dozen fun printable packet designs just for you.To make your packets, print out and trim along the edges of the graphics.Fold up the bottom, and in the short side and spread a bit of glue stick adhesive along each. Fold over the large flap and press. Then the top flap folds down to close. They make great little note card envelopes, pockets for small supplies, party favor holders or gift card wrappers. I’ll be using one for my needles and think they would make cute little travel sewing kits. With a round punch you can cut a semi-circle area for accessing the contents. I used my Martha Stewart scalloped 1" punch.Tuck a little loot in one for someone special. (Recognize the jump-rope girl from the growth chart I posted?)Make one large enough to hold index cards, receipts, coupons and more. Wrap little floss cards with Divine Twine for sharing with your creative friends or for projects on the go!What would you use them for?

UPDATE: Within hours of posting these packet graphics, just look at what a JSIM reader, enjoy from Germany, created!

Aren't you a princess for sharing these..
I wonder what it would be like to make a small zippered purse out of the pea pod packet, and use the tiny peapod for the zipper pull?

Hi Cathe! I've been following your blog for over a year now and - while I'm pretty much always amazed at what you come up with - this project has to be hands-down my fave! This is a smack-me-in-the-forehead piece of brilliant simplicity! (I'm also a fan of the decals and cereal box notebooks...) Thank you so, so much for all the great things you put on your blog - I'm so inspired every time I visit!

Well I flipped a few months back when you showed us that little pea pod. I've been on the hunt (OK, thinking about going on the hunt) for some green shoes ever since. Now I am going to have to get myself in gear because these little envelopes are calling my name. Thanks! Lisa~
