Overload!
blog's been dead for quite awhile. been too occupied with the stuff i need to do. too stressed out til can't even bother going to destress over here. will be having exams in less than a month's time. busy busy busy. just hope things will get better after exams. =)

HEALTH :QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION
Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.
Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a MIXED GRILL can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.
Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!
Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good!
Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!!... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?
Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A : Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger.. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.
Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? HELLO. Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around!
Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.
Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!

Kushinbo @ Suntec!
wee... the long awaited kushinbo! waited for ps til evening when we go eat the dinner buffet. Its more ex but we got no choice. coz ps hv to work. its 40++ pax. haiz... its really ex. think i can get better food with that kinda money. but it was yummy still.
all 3 kinds of cold noodles. udon, soba and cha soba!
clammy pasta, not bad.
all the cooked food. nice! liked the fried prawn, the fish with sauce, teriyaki chicken ++
seafood soup! wow wee! nice, but too greedy, end up burn my tongue abit while savouring the soup. wee...
steamed egg. nice!!!!
sushi time!the clam doesnt taste as gd though. nvr try the sushi much for mi. mostly is ps-ed. sashimi! but not that great. coz the place not that cold, and the sashimi hv been put there for awhile. aww....
misc stuff. the tomato salad was nice! mayoniese crab meat was not bad, the potatoe salad was eggy, not not bad as well. lol
trying the crabby... nice!!!!!!!!!!!
dessert, eclair plus choco puff plus 3 flavours of mousse, choco, mango and pink guava. its nice!!!!!
second round of sashimi, fresher this time coz they just refilled the plate, but not cold enough still. plus sweet sweet crabby! yummy!!!!
scallop plus ginseng porridge, also nice!
assorted oden plus soup, veggy but yummy. had 2 bowls. lol~
had 3 cup of jasmine tea to soothe the digestion
miso soup not bad, but just plain soup, nothing much.

Night Cycling + Supper
gathering with army pals after so long. right after ict as well. we went vivo catch a movie first, Transformers! then we went east coast to rent our bikes to go on our supper cycling trip!

4th rest stop, went to kallang bridge to rest. everyone's tired out, just lying along the bridge regardless of whether any people going to cross anot. lol

last stop before the bike shop opens. everyone just anyhow sleep. flat ground, just sleep!

Holland V Trip 2
went for a food trip to holland v again. this time we end up trying yoshimaru, a jap ramen shop. but the funny thing is its managed by jumbo seafood.... whats the link,i dont know. lol~

they provide a seasoning bowl to grind the seasame
jap version of dandan mee
normal pork ramen
for dessert first up is apple crumble! not bad, realli. not bad at all. plus the serving is huge.
2nd up, rainbow cheesecake. lol 4 diff flavours of 5 cups of cheesecake. got lemon, green tea, strawberry and oreo. but honestly speaking, its so so onli. dont think i will order again next time.
