If there is one most used sentence throughout this blog of 10 years, it will definitely be "so many things have happened since the last time I wrote". And being someone who is usually always following the norm, I'm going to start this entry with the same sentence.

So many things have happened since the last time I wrote. Its been awhile. The last entry I was devastated by a news which concerns the matters of the heart and the entry before that I was eager to conquer the challengers that I foresee at work. This entry, its the exact opposite. Let's take the time to recap this last post of the year and probably even more.

Firstly, work has been super tiring. Been working long hours and even going back to office/working at home during weekends. Haven't had much time for myself as well. I started the year determined to concur all the challengers ahead but after a year I'm feeling jaded. But I have to say, even though my current role is extremely busy it lets me learn a lot and I get to interact with many other people in other departments. I'm still deciding which route I ultimately want to specialised in. Let's see how next year will be like and what opportunities are there.

Secondly, I achieved somewhat a dream of mine since poly. That dream though isn't something world changing, grand or inspiring but its just something that I always want to do. That dream, is to... grow my hair long enough to tie it. Haha! I always thought guys with long hair and being able to tie them looks really cool. Anyways I managed to do that albeit not in the way I always though it would be, but I kept the top of my hair long enough to tie it into a manbun. Just fitting among the manbun craze recently. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you see it, I only had 2 weeks to keep it until I had to cut it off before I go for reservist. I wonder if I will be able to grow them long enough again.

Last and probably the most important thing, finally after 26 years of age.. I'm officially attached. While I never pen down the timing when I first met her and how we got together, I'm still really happy that I am writing here that I have a girlfriend. I wasn't looking but things just happened which I'm glad it did. Here's to much more happy moments that we two will share.

I guess this is the recap of this year, and this blog. Yes, I'm planning to stop writing now that I'm busy with so many stuffs and just nice it's 10 years since I started justlet-me-be. This blog has seen/heard me through from after finishing my O levels, to my whirlwind years in poly and primers, to my very mentally and physically then relax time in NS, to my short but eventful years in uni, to my first full time job in Westpac and the people I met there, to my very first solo trip to Melbourne, to my first permanent job in OCBC, and now to me having my first official girlfriend. I started my blog looking to find that "someone" special, all the ups and downs I encountered and fast forward 10 years later I found her when I wasn't really looking. I feel that it has come a full cycle and what better chance for me to write my last post and to close this blog.
