Sadness
I don't feel that good today. Not after 3 hours of studying biology. Maybe it's something else. Won't elaborate too much about it.

SSS

Right guys, take a look at this year's SSS committee in melbourne. This was taken at the night of NDP at Velour.
Actually, all I wanted to do was post this pic up. Haha, oh well.
I'm just waiting for somebody to come along and tell me how long my hair is...

American Sensei
Whoosh, I'm super fired up for lacrosse even thought it's post-season practice now. This American dude in the club has been really helpful. It's like he's teaching me stuff that the coaches have even bothered to teach me. Right, let's make him proud!

PDA
So, i was taking bus 307 to get home and it just so happens that there was this couple right in front of me. Goodness, they were at it from the time i boarded the bus till the time they got off (which was pretty far by that way!). I mean, c'mon, even if you're totally at ease with kissing in public, at least give it a rest for some time. I mean , my lips just HURT by watching u guys go at it for no apparent reason other than a possible urge to just show each other your undying love on a stinky yellow bus. I could be as liberal as the next person but just a kiss here and there is probably good enough to show your other half your affection.
Wonder what they're doing now?

WE WON!
Yes!, David vs Goliath and we did it! League leaders Surrey Park has been beaten by the tenacity and perseverence of Melbourne Uni's Lacrosse Team! We were lagging behind by 5 goals and finally caught up in the 4th quarter with 19 seconds left. 10-10, no mere feat people. We went into extra-time and that was when our perseverence paid off when we scored 2 goals to beat them! Whoo hoo, Way to go melbourne uni!

Weird
Ok, this was supposed to be yesterdays post but I was obviously too lazy. Yesterday, during dim sum, my dad mentioned a very interesting fact that made me feel really weird. Imagine seeing a face around school in JC, knowing that person is there but yet you're so different, different stream, different group of friends. Totally different lives. You basically know who this person is but it's just a face in the crowd. So, here in melbourne, you feel as though you've seen this person again while walking across university and you think 'Ah, what a coincidence'. But other than that, you've never given it much thought.
Then at dim dum, your dad mentions bumping into a friend whose daughter studies in the same university and when he mentions her name, you recoil in shock because it's exactly that person you saw. The best part was, apparently, this person was a very good friend of mine during my kindergarden years, like I would go to him/her birthday party and he/she would go to mine. So, it's like one of those things which really feels weird because you never expected a history like that. I mean, cmon, I couldn't even remember this person and we're supposed to be good friends.
Ha, never mind. It's just one of those things.
Weird.

Lacrosse Game
I know it's been a long time but today is really a day of significance. No, it's not Harry Potter people, it's the game against Caulfield. Now, I've been playing lacrosse for while now but I still lack the technical skills or the balls to charge through sticks and bodies just aching to hurt me. This isn't about that though, it's about the sheer violence of the game. I was battered left, right, centre today. Being body checked isn't all fun and games people, especially when you're recovering from a shoulder injury.
It all started out with the shoulder. I tried receiving a feed while cutting through and guess what? I heard a faint ominous 'creak' coming from my shoulder and it hurts like hell. I failed to receive and ran out of the pitch like a man on fire. So, after nursing my shoulder for a bit, I had to get out there once again. Ran on and got body checked while trying to run with the ball and fell to the ground. I got up and started pursuing that bloody ass and tried to give him some. Unfortunately, ball switched hangs and I couldn't do anything about it.
Second time happened in the midline. I was going for the ball and this guy totally shoved me aside. Ok, at this very moment, I was like insane already, I couldn't take it anymore. Everyone's like giving me shit all the time and I wanted blood. So, I chased him down and pushed his ass to the ground, to the mud. Yea, you like that don't you, huh? Who's your daddy now? I viciously chased guys with the ball and gave them a bit of their own medicine. Unfortunately, that didn't work very well. Guess body checks are the way after all.
Third time, was defending when this guy took a shot. Unfortunately for me, I was the block of meat that was in front of him at that time. The ball hit my thigh and it burned. MY goodness, it was pain I tell you. Lucky for me, adrenaline was high at the moment so I barely felt it at that time.
Thus, concludes my report on the most vicious and physical game of the season. We lost 7-5. It was pretty sad cause we caught up in the four quarter but that scored two more and that was it.
Hai~
