Family,Food, and Fireworks is what our 4th of July consisted of. I think we celebrated for at least a week and we ate way to much delicious food. On the 4th we went to the parade in Menan and then to Rodney's house for a BBQ and to watch the Idaho Falls fireworks.

Mitchell's T&A
If any of you know my little guy, you know that he has some awesome allergies and we frequently were having to give him albuterol nebulizer treatments so that he could breathe easier. I took him to the ENT physician just wanting him to check Mitchell's tonsils to see if it would help to get them out, because they were HUGE! Well the Dr said let's get them out and Mitchell was scheduled for the next week. He was pretty good about it, I just kept telling him that we were going to go and get his throat fixed. He did really good and when we went back to see him in recovery the nurse said that she hadn't seen that large of tonsils in a 4 yr old in a long time. Also he had his adenoids taken out and she said they were full of bacteria and that is probably why he was getting sick and always sounded like he had a cold. Mitchell was back to his regular self within a day and asking for a hot dogs for lunch.

Life' s Little Miracles
Life is full of little miracles, but sometimes the are harder to recognize in your on life. Our little family had one of those last week with the birth of our little girl, Maybri Lark. She is truly my little miracle baby.
On Wednesday March 2nd, I went into the hospital to be induced. Maybri was measuring a little smaller than she should and also I was low on amniotic fluid so there really wasn't much room for her to grow any bigger. So at 8 pm, I was admitted to the hospital for what we thought was going to be a long night. I was only dilated to a 1, so I had a lot of work to do before she would be here.
Just a side note for those of you who don't know, I am lucky enough to work at nights on the Labor and Delivery and Mom/Baby units. I work with some amazing people and I they are the best friends to have around you.
Anyways at about a 10:30, I started to feel my contractions. Nothing real serious just a little in my back and they were about 5-10 minutes apart. I called to my nurse, Carli, and asked if I could get my ambien so that I could sleep through the night while my body did all the hard work. A few minutes later it felt like my water had broke and I was thinking that maybe it wouldn't be an all night thing and she would be her pretty quick. Boy was I right. It felt like there was a lot more fluid than there should have been coming out, Justen then looked down and informed me that it wasn't water that it was blood and there was a lot of it. So we called for Carli and she came in and then went out to call my amazing doctor, Dr. Watson, to have him come in. I was abrupting, which is very dangerous not only for the baby but also the patient. My placenta had slipped causing me to hemorrhage. Everything after this point happened so fast. I was prepped for surgery and taken back all within a matter of minutes. I know at one time they had a hard time finding my pulse and my blood pressure was in the toilet. Also before I was put under the couldn't find her heart rate.
Maybri was born at 11:27 pm, just 27 minutes after I told them I was bleeding. In the end they think I lost about 1/4 of my blood volume and I had to receive 4 units of blood and stay in the hospital a lot longer than I wanted to.
I am so grateful to all of those that were there that night and worked so quickly to get my little girl here. If this had happened at home or any where other than the hospital it is very likely neither of us would be here now. You all will never know how grateful I am to each and every one of you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Also thank you to my Heavenly Father, who I know was watching over me and my family that night and was listening to all of our prayers.
