The First Academy of Enterprise: 4th Gen Education Week

We started the day out learning about Woodgrain then heading off to Emmett to see the sawmill.
With the heat wave over 100 degrees everyday we were nice and sweaty at the end of the tour and ready for lunch at Fiesta.
Tuesday we toured millwork and learned about distribution at Home Depot.
The cousins had lots of fun times together.
The rafting was a high point for a lot of the kids.
Overall it was a great week in spite of kids coming in late due to the computer system failure that shut down the airlines.  Eventually they all arrived and they all learned a lot and had some fun.  Kelly and Evelyn hosted a pizza night for our farewell dinner.

McCall was a trooper representing the Kelly Dame family.  She earned her "favorite second cousin" award.

Lily and Luke didn't get to participate this time but we loved having them join us for some of the fun.

Lily Living the dream

During the summer months Lily is in high demand and spends a lot of time flittering between this friend and that.  Lucky girl gets lots of invitations.
Swimming with Payton and Hazel at the pool.

Silly times with Kylie and all of our cats.

She also got the privilege of getting her braces on in June.
While Emmy and Kate were at FSY like and Violet spent the day at the zoo.

We made lots of Kraves trips to visit Kate at work.

And there were a couple stops at the snow cone lady's place.
Primary Activity at the River Ranch Pool.
Lily had a great summer playing with friends and reading tons of books.

Girls Camp

Girls Camp 2024 started out with a rafting trip.  Kate didn't want to do the rafting so she rode up in the car with the cooks and helped get camp set up.

Meanwhile, Emmy rode in the 'ginger' raft with the other red heads.

Their camp was close to the river so they had some fun playing in the water.

They helped stain this cabin for service.

Bishop's night was fun playing games and visiting Starlight Theater to see 'Newsies'.
The next morning after very little sleep. The girls woke at 5:30am for a sunrise faith walk.

They stopped at Black Canyon Dam on the way home for a little bit of boating before they headed home.  When they got home they were exhausted.  I went to call everyone for dinner and found three girls fast asleep (and Lily didn't even go to girls camp).
