To all my dear friends in SG. Life isn't that good for me in UK. Everyday i would wake up and log onto the net to try my luck to find a suitable job. And everyday its a disappointment for me. I guess it's due to the fact that i am a foreigner to this country and having graduted from sch recently, i find it hard to compete with the pple arn here. And the most impt thing when applying for a job is experience which i only have 1 pathetic year of work experience. Hence i can conclude that i'm sort of wasting my time here.
I could have been on the way of pursuing my degree along with my other friends or continue with my damn lousy job at Singtel. But why am i here at such a far away place from my home? I really had no idea. Maybe its bcos i wanna help my sis to fulfill her dream that i come to UK with her. As i know that its really hard for her to come alone. Anyway, its really too late to say anything. All i can do is try my best to look for a job. And hopefully i can appreciate having the chance to live in such an english country.
Its getting more n more cold over here. And while i'm typing, i'm actually shivering as its raining outside. Sigh.. Everyday i live in an air-conditioned place. Miss the sun alot. And all the laksa, fishball noodles etc.
Btw, so sorry to Chris that i can't celebrate his 21st bday together with the TDH members. But i guess u wouldn't mind rite cos having that person arn is enough! :P

Days in Paris
Yawn.... Jus came back from Paris ystd. Damn tired. Haven't got much slp while travelling.
Spent the 1st 3 days in Disneyland Paris. Feel like a kid while i'm at the Fantasyland. Saw Stitch, Winnie e Pooh & Friends, Chip & Dale, Daisy Duck, Mickey Mouse, Pluto and many more. Tried almost all the rides and there was 2 which really make me feel like vomitting. Shall describe in real life when i'm back in SG.
There's also a Parade at nite, something like Chingay but its all Disney Characters that is on the lighted up cars. Not forgetting the fireworks - Wishes. Brillant and lovely is what i would say. Images of Disney chars were cast on Sleeping Beauty Castles and fireworks were played in the background. The feeling is wow....
Before leaving, i bought myself a Winnie e Pooh mug and a Grumpy glass. Had wanted to buy a Big Grumpy mug but its too ex. It cost 8.90 euro okie, which is almost S$18. Dun bear to buy it, might as well spent my $$ on something more useful right.
Visted Notre Dame, Louvre, Eiffel Tower, The Arc during the last 2 days. Not much time to visit other places. Went to eat Baked Salmon for one of the dinner. Had actually wanted to eat Mussels one. But i dun really fancy it as my encounter with them is hard n weird taste. But after this trip, i gotta give them another chance. My sis friend ordered a big pot of Mussels and tell u what, it was god damn delicious. Its soft and jus nice lah... *drooling*
More details on Louvre. Its the museum where Mona Lisa reside. Went to take a look at the painting. No words to describe cos at any angle, she seems to be looking at u and smilling. Hahaha.. Masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci.
Sad to say, i didn't get to see my favourite paintings by Vincent van Gogh. "La chambre de Van Gogh à Arles" is the name of it. Abit the cartoon lah but then that's bcos i was suppose to draw a painting of any famous works during my sec sch days and i happen to chance upon this piece and decided to use it. Anyway i wanted to buy a souvenior and was to decide on postcard, jigsaw puzzle, calendar and magnet. And due to the lack of fund, i choose the magnet. Hahaha. Wanted to get the puzzle one but it cost 18 euro lo.. Too ex and considering i still have to get a nice frame which would cost at least 50 bucks.
Overall, i wouldn't recommend France as a good place for free n easy. Main reason is that the pple there are rude and refuse to speak English even thou they know how to. And all signs are in french, even while i'm in Disneyland, everything is in French, who the hell knows what they are talking abt? Watch the Winnie e Pooh live show which is also in french so ended up watching the characters jump here n there nia. Sigh.. Such an unfriendly place. Dun like. So do consider before making a trip there or if u guys know french language, can give it a try. But be careful of pple jumping ur queue k.

Sightseeing
Finally, my supply of Maggie came on Saturday.
Yeah my sis's friend came to visit us and bought lots of food for us. So happy.
On the 1st day(Sat), we brought them to Oxford Streets. Its a long street with shops on both sides. Selling almost everything. Common shops are Dorothy Perkins, Bodyshop, Marks & Spencer, Clarks etc. I bought a pair of boots cos i think i will need a presentable pair of shoes for interviews and other occasions. Cos me a bloody of S$120. *Shake head*
On Sunday, we head off to Buckingham Palace where the Queen is staying. And of cos, the Queens is not there. During Summer, the Queen is away for holiday and that's y we can visit the palace. A very grand place with lots of paintings, chandelier antiques. A pity they don't allow us to take pic and we were limited to certain room. And i forgot where we went to after which. ^_^
And on Monday, we went to the famous Oxford. An hour from London by train. Nice place with lots of old historical buildings. University of Oxford is actually made up of 20 over colleages each having their own code of arms. So there isn't any campus arn. Hence we can only see lots of colleages scattered all over the place. The famous Harry Potter dining hall was film in Oxford at Christ Church. Nth special abt it and it doesn't look as grand as what we saw in the movie. Its actually a very small dining hall and the tables wasn't that long either. Guess it was the effect that makes the hall looks grand and big. *Abit gena cheated cos the entrance cost £2.50 and nth much to see*
Tuesday wasn't that interesting. Went to check the ticket price for Phantom of the Opera. And each person gotta pay £38 for a seat on the Royal Circle. So in the end, only my sis's friend went to catch it. My sis and i will watch it some other days when the crowd is lesser and cost much more cheaper.
And on Wednesday, we went Cambrige. A place that is much more nicer than Oxford in my opinion. A more serene place for further studies. We also went punting. Something like sampan. Jus that the person rowing the boat uses a long thick stick to row it. I wanted to punt myself de.. But hor.. I scare later i lose my balance and fall into the river and that will be haleluya le... And on the way, we saw a man fall into the river and he was shivering with cold. Luckily i never try ah.. Hahaha..

Today, sis friend headed off to Rome early in the morning. And we'll meet them in Paris on Monday. Yeap.. I'm going to Disneyland Paris. Great isn't it. Though it means spending more $$. But i think its more fun to go with many pple and anyway we intended to tour round Europe during our stay in London. So the more the merrier. Getting all excited on my trip to Paris. And of cos, gotta cut my diet for the next few days le. Getting all the fats from the sumptous meals these few days. Cannot keep eatting those gd stuff else my ma won't be able to recognise me when i return. Hahahaha.
Got time then upload the photos. Abit the lazy. And think the next post will be up when i come back from Paris. Which is next thur. So take care folks.
