From the designer paper, cut an 11 x 4 piece and fold in have, this makes the card base.

Making a Heartfelt Gift Caddy

Hello!! So I had a little time and made this gift caddy... when your done you can add a little crafting yummies and give to someone who would love it!

Tell me what you think... it will accomadate 3 small Stickle bottles...and who doesn't LOVE Stickles!
 photo 6 sticklesChristmas gift caddy_zpsaaqhldht.jpg
Products used:
HCDI-7104 Ornate Sleigh and Presents Die
HCD1-7016 Celebrate the Season Die
HCPC-3747 Celebrate the Season Cling Stamp Set
Celebrate the Season designer paper

Other products used... Gold Washi Tape, Want2Scrap self-adhesive bling, 3 1/2 wood circle, Stickles Diamond, cardboard/card stock, Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen Boudoir and Holy Leaf color, Apple Barrel acrylic paint in Purple, Xyron sticker maker.
Cut one 3 1/2" x 8"-- a 2" x 8" --a 3" x 1/2" and --a 1" x 8" from heavy duty chipboard/card stock, Paint one side of each piece with a coordinating color. I used dark purple acrylic paint.
photo 1Christmas gift caddy_zpsdxe0foau.jpgCover the 2x8 and the 1x8 piece with designer paper from the collection and glue each end to form a tube/cylinder.
Cover the top of the 1 x 8 cylinder with gold washi and glue this tube inside the top of the 2x8 cylinder to make it look like there is a cylinder within a cylinder.  Add Stickles to the surrounding area where the two pieces meet. Set these aside to dry.
Cover the other two pieces and also glue them together to make 2 different tubes. One will be taller than the other. Cover each of these pieces using your favorite papers from the designer paper collection.  You will end up with 3 tubes in different sizes.  Cover the tops with Washi of your choice, I used gold washi since it's a Christmas project.
Now adhere the two bigger tubes together. When gluing the front piece to the taller tube, elongate the tube and hold it till it adheres completely to the other cylinder. It will look like the taller tube is circular, but the smaller tube is oval, you will be able to fit 3 stickle bottles in this area. Now, the smallest tube is just big enough to hold a pencil, or other crafty tool. Adhere it on the right side of the caddy. Using Washi tape, adhere the newly created caddy to the circular wood piece to give your caddy a base.
photo 2Christmas gift caddy_zpsg8bszrgt.jpgNext, stamp, color and die cut the flowers and leaves.  I colored my flowers in with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen in Boudoir and the leaves in Holly Leaf, it makes the flowers pretty glittery. I did a set of 3 flowers, for each flower I used two of the bigger petals and one of the smaller petals. For centers, I used the Want2Scrap self-adhesive bling.
Now using the dies, cut out the pre-printed Gift box images from the designer paper.
photo 8 front view Christmas gift caddy_zpslsfn6frm.jpg
Finally, adhere the 3 poinsettias and leafs to the front of your caddy, and add the gift boxes on either side to cover where the two tubes were hot glued together. (The taller gift boxes are the perfect size for this.)

Stamp, color and die cut the leafy garland, I colored it with the Holy Leaf pen and ran it through the Xyron sticker maker. Adhere this garland around the top part of the caddy. Add some bling across the garland, and also around the flowers and leafs.
That’s it, now you can buy 3 stickle bottles, maybe a bone folder, a cool glitter pen and other yummies, wrap the caddy with cellophane tissue and give it away to some lucky friend!  Have fun and enjoy!!

I am having a HEARTFELT Christmas in July!

Hello everyone... thank you all so much for visiting and leaving me such awesome comments.  I truly appreciate them ALL!!!

This month, Heartfelt came up with the most beautiful papers and designs... I used the Gate fence stamp and the mini poinsettias, they are so cute!!! I hope you enjoy and become inspired to maybe make your own Christmas cards this year...

Look at those cute mini poinsettias! they are so adorable and so easy to make... stamp, color cut you're done!
 photo FRONT1GATECARD_zps8zukni7r.jpg

Here is what I used and how I made it...
Products used:

HCPC - 3746 CLING STAMP FESTIVE GATE
HCD1 - 7105 DIE FESTIVE GATE
HCPC - 3747 CLING STAMP CELEBRATE THE SEASON
HCD1 - 7106 DIE CELEBRATE THE SEASON
HCPC - 3748 CLING STMAP GIFT WRAPPED PRESENTS
Heartfelt designer paper "Celebrate the Seasons"

Other products used: Bling embellishment for the flowers, Copic Marketer in BG13 Mint Green, N2 Natural Grey #2, N4 Natural Grey #4, (For the Fence)
RV 00 Water Lily, E04 Lipstick Natural (for the Mini Poinsettias, they were stamped with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink "Victorian Velvet")
The Mini poinsettia leaves were stamped in (Tim Holtz Peeled Paint) Stickles Tiara and Star Dust. Cream Card stock. Tim Holtz distress ink in Evergreen Bough to shade.

First I die cut 4 set of the Festive Gates, just on plain cream card stock. adhere 2 of them together, now you have 2 thicker gates.
These will make the card base, so you will have to cut a 1" x 2 3/4" front he cream card stock and fold it in half. This makes the hinge for you to make the card base. Adhere the gates to this hinge, now you have a card base... yay!

Now stamp 2 more gates and color them using the Copic markers colors mentioned above, or colors of your choice. Die cut these gates and also die cute one more gate without stamping it from the designer paper.

Adhere one of the colored and stamped gates to the front of the card, one to the inside of the card and the one cut from just the designer paper, adhere it the back of the front side of the card.
 photo FRONT2GATECARD_zpsi8haeafw.jpg
Cut a piece of 5 3/4" x 2" and
stamp a sentiment from the collection. I used "Merry Christmas". Used some Tim Holtz distress ink in Evergreen Bough to do a little shading around this piece. Color in the leafs , stickle them and add some bling. Set this aside and let the stickels dry.
Stamp, color and die cut the wreath, mini Poinsettias and leaves. Put your flowers together and adhere them over the wreath, tucking in leafs here and there to make the wreath look full. I added some pink bling to embellish.
From the designer paper, I fussy
cut a ticket that read, "Celebrate the Season" and some of the cute bells from one of the other pre-printed images.
On the inside of the card, adhere the Merry Christmas sentiment, it should be dry by now...
For the cover of the card, I attached the Wreath and beneath it the ticket and bells.
Stickled the flowers and the gate and ... done.
enjoy!!

THANK YOU fro stopping by... have fun crafting and as always...

No card today...instead a Heartfelt TAG!

Hello, did you all have a great Independence day?  We sure did, lots of food, my kids were here, what else could I ask for?  Later on the day, I did manage to craft a little bit, not much, but enough to keep me excited about crafting.  So for today... is Wednesday...and for a while Wednesday is going to be devoted to Heartfelt Creations, and to show you today,, is a Tag.  This was fun and easy to create... tell me what you think...

 photo tag 1_zpsjgxzy543.jpg
PRODUCTS USED:

HCDI-736 Classic Leaf Die
HCDI-758 Botanical Wings Die
HCPC-3546 Classic Leaf Cling Stamp
HCPC-3545 Open Leaf Cling Stamp
HCPC-3651 Botanical Rose Cling Stamp (leaf only)
HCPC-3742 Regal Hummingbird Cling Stamp
HCPC-3741 Botanical Orchid Cling Stamp
HCDI-7101 Botanical Orchid Die
HCDI-7102 Regal Hunning Bird Die
HCDI-7100 Church Window

Other products used: Tim Hotlz distressed inks colors: Peeled Paint, Rusty Hinge, Scattered Straw, Forest Green for leaves and Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet for the flowers. Memento Tuxedo black, Stickles Diamond, Kraft paper and black card stock, paper crimping tool.

Cut a 6 x 3.5 tag out of Kraft paper and cover it with a piece of botanical designer paper.
Cut a second tag out of Kraft paper out of Kraft paper and run it through a paper crimper.  Die cut the inside part of the church window, just the decorative section.
Cut a small tag 1.5 x 3 from the designer paper.

photo tag 2_zpszgjt09qs.jpgOn the 6 x 3.5 tag layer the smaller crimped tag, on the left hand side tuck the small 1.5 x 3 tag just so you can see the decorative top part. Over all this layer the decorative window section.

Cut 2 pieces of black card stock 4 x 4.75 and 2 pieces of designer paper 4 x 1.
Layer the designer over the black card stock.  Now you have 2 strips, on one of these strips cut one as a flag banner.
 photo tag 3_zpsvsbasssj.jpg

Adhere one strips long ways over the tag and tuck the banner strip underneath.

Stamp, die cut and color, (using the distressed inks) the leafs and orchids and 2 humming birds.  To make these flowers add additional 2 petals to each flower, this makes them a lot bigger and a different type of looking orchid. I also added some stamens to the centers and adhered the flowers over a bed of leafs.

Adhere these flowers on the left hand side of the tag and among the flowers tuck 2 of the little humming birds.

Cut a ticket from the designer paper, I chose one that read A Gift of Love and I nestled it between the flowers and the banner.

Add Stickles to everything, makes it sparkle pretty. you're done.
Have fun!

Simple Heartfelt card Wednesday...

Wednesday...means what? If you said Heartfelt day, you are right!!  I am still working with the botanical papers...another card with some really cute humming birds...what you think? Used some recollections bling this time.

Products Used:
HCD1-7101 Botanic Orchid Die
HCD1-7103 Botanic Orchid Bouquet Die
HCPC-3743 Botanic Orchid Bouquet Cling Stamp
HCPC-3741 Botanic Orchid Cling Stamp
Designer Paper "Botanic Orchid"

Other products:  Spellbinders Nestabilities Majesetic Labels Twenty-Five, Stickles, pink and white card stock, flat back pink rhinstones, Recollections bling, foam tape

Cut the pink card stock 4x12 and fold in half, this makes your card base 4x6. Round all the corners with a corner punch.

With the cling stamp set mentioned above, stamp the bouquet image, color it in with your markers of choice, I used Copic Markers in shades of pink and green for the leaves.  I used stickles to make it sparkle and set it aside for it to dry.

*Move on to the Spellbinders Nestabilities die and cut the first 2 of the biggest die, you will use the 6 x 3 3/4 for your card.
Next from a piece of Heartfelt designer paper, cut the next size of the die which will give you a solid piece with a little touch of color.

*At this time also stamp, color and die cut 2 sets of the Hibiscus flowers, I used the smallest flowers of the set. Put these flower together, and add a little stickles to make them sparkle.

*Stamp, color and die cut the tiny humming bird boarder and one of the sitting humming boards.

*On white card stock stamp the sentiment "Thinking of You" and cut it 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 and layer it on a piece of pink card stock 1/4 inch bigger. (set aside)

*Now, cut a piece of designer paper 3 3/4 X 5 3/4 and round the edges.

Now to start layering all the piece of paper on the card base, first the designer cut piece of paper, then the Nestabilites die cut pieces but before you adhere the last layer use foam tape, to give it a bit of heighth and dimension. Next adhere the stamped bouquet in the center of the card and on it, adhere the 2 orchid flowers previously die cut. Add some bling bling around the bouquet and the cute little humming birds.

*At the base right beneath the last flower, tuck in the sentiment and add the sitting humming bird and some pink flat back rhinstones to the upper corners of the card and inside each Orchid flower.
|to the left bottom corner.
That's it, you're done!

Botanic Orchid - Birthday Card w/ Humming Birds

Happy Heartfelt Wednesday!  This Sunday will be Father's day, do you have anything planned?? I plan to have him relax and cook him a full hearty meal... ya' know steak, potatoes and more lol'  or maybe seafood???  But before I get to ahead of myself lets take a look at my card for today. Heartfelt creations has the prettiest papers, they are vibrant and the mini layouts help you create instant cards.
I've liked all the papers thus far, but I ADORE these, they are pink and soft and so easy to create with.
I used the cute humming birds and flowers for this card, plus the window dies... what ya' think?

photo Happy Birthday Huming Bird Card 1_zpslwygawok.jpg

Products Used:
 HCD1-7013 Botanic Orchid Bouquet Die
HCD1-7100 Botanic Window Die
HCD1-7101 Botanic Orchid Die
HCD1-7102 Regal Hummingbird Die1
HCPC-3741 Botanic Orchid Cling Stamp Set
HCPC-3742 Regal Hummingbird Cling Stamp Set
HCD1-747 Arianna Lace Die
Botanic Orchaid paper Collection

Other materials used: Hunter green card stock to die cut the large window frame, white card stock for the card base, Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Broken Chain and Spun Sugar to color in the humming birds and shade the flower petals, 6 flat back pearls, and Stickles in Gold and Diamond.

 photo Happy Birthday Hbc5_zpseqsukdv6.jpg
Like always, I start by making my card base, this case I used a piece of 5x10 white card stock folded it in half. This makes your card base 5x5.
*From the Botanical paper Collection I cut a piece 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 and layer this on the card base. *Using the Window die, use the Arch die to cut 3 pieces,(This is the thiniest of the dies, it will cut an solid piece in an arch shape.) I cut 2 in green and 1 in pink.
*Again, using the Window die, out of the Hunter green card stock, die cut the window frame. (This will be the bigger of the dies, with all the pretty scroll work)
*Finally from the Window die, cut the center piece from the white card stock.
 **Set all these aside.

*Stamp the humming birds, and 3 sets of orchids (I used the samllest of the 3 stamps), color them using the above Tim Holtz given colors and die cut them. Shape your 3 flowers and put them together. Also, while you're utting, cut one of the lacy dies from the Arianna die set and cut it half.
** Set this aside as well.

photo Happy Birthday Hbc3_zpszmvklqn3.jpg *The paper collection it self has pre-printed images you can use your dies on. From this one sheet and using the Regal Hummingbird Die I die cut the cut flower arrangement you see on the upper left corner of my card and using the Botanic Orchid Bouquet Die cut the beautiful bouquet image you see on the lower right hand corner of the card. Onto these images adhere the flowers you made earlier. Arrange them in a way that they looks like they are part of the die cut.

 * Back to the card, now over the 1st layer of designer paper you added to the card base, adhere the 2 green arches so they are side by side, but stay within the size for the card. Over these, center the pink arch, but use foam tape to give this 3rd piece some dimension. On either side of this layer tuck a piece of the Arianna Lace you had cut before. Over all this, now adhere the Window die cut over the pink arch and adhere the White arch ontop of the pink arch. This gives you a completed window.
* now arrange your flower bouquet you on both sides of the windows, place the cute humming birds playfully around the flowers.

photo Happy Birthday Huming Bird Card 2_zpsp4nx4omo.jpg
*The paper collection also comes with a sheet that has many pre printed sentiments. I cut a piece that read HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Cut it to look like a banner and attached it to the front of the card just below one of the humming birds.
*This time I used Gold stickles for the humming birds tails and beaks plus on some of the flowers. For the pictures, I did not add the stickles to the flowers, mainly because it does not photograph well, but this is a pretty sparkly card. So use stickles are your own judgement. On the top right corners and lower left corner I finished the card by adding 3 flat back pearls.

That is is... you're done... have fun creating!

Heartfelt Humming Birds have landed...

Yay! It's Wednesday AND it's a new month, so that means  NEW Heartfelt Creations paper, stamps and dies!!! On to-date this is my favorite!!! Krystal, my daughters has always loved Orchids and guess what this month brings your way???  come on...guess!!  ORCHIDS!!!  and the most awesome window die ever. It's a biggen...you will not be disappointed... so looksie what I made for my first project... I turned that window into a humming bird cage lol  Did I mention this collections also has humming birds???   I tell you,,, you all' are gonna love it!!
look.....

 photo humming bird cage_zpsukjusbma.jpg

Products Used:
HCD1-7102 Regal Hummingbird Die
HCD1-7100 Botanic Window Die
HCD1-7101 Botanic Orchid Die
HCPC-3741 Botanic Orchid Cling Stamp Set
HCPC-3742 Regal Hummingbird Cling Stamp Set

Other products: White card stock, Stickles, 8 inch piece of Pink Floss, 3 glass beads and 2 bead caps, Memento Tuxedo Dye,

First thing I did for this project was to stamp one of the humming birds from the stamp collection on heavy white card stock and color it in with alcohol markers. I used the die to cut the colored in image plus six other, on just blank white card stock. I glued 5 of them together, just to make it really sturdy. Before adhering the 6th humming bird, I sandwiched the pink floss between the last two die cut piece. This gave the humming bird a string to be hung from.
photo 2HummingCage_zpsdtpdiuxj.jpgOnto this floss string a pink glass bead, the bead cap, another glass bead, another bead cap and the last glass bead, I added a tad of hot glue to make sure the beads didn't roll of the floss.
Put this aside...
Now, cut 3 of the Botanical Windows die, there are 3 dies in this set. Use the big die first, leaving the inside solid, then cut 3 of just the 2nd die, the arch, from the designer paper, then cut 3 from the 3rd die, the inside of the window... Layer these so you can see the pretty designer paper through the window bars. (Ain't that just too cute!)  Do this to all 3 windows.
From each side of the scrolled die pieces on each window, add some strong wet glue, I used Tombo glue and I adhere each window together just from the ends. This gives you sorta of a bird cage design.
photo humming bird_zpsqvcr2vde.jpgFrom the bottom up-- run the floss, with the hanging humming bird, and use this to connect the three window tops together.

Be gentle, so you don't beak the delicate paper tops. Now the beaded humming bird is hanging from the bottom part of the Window cage.

Now use the flower cling stamps mentioned above to stamp two of them on the designer paper, that way you won't have to color them in.
Die cut the stamped images, form and shape the flowers.  Adhere these two flowers to the front of one of the windows and add stickles to everything you want glittery. Add some flat pearl beads, a seam binding bow to the top and decorate the bow with some glass beads and you're done.
 photo 1HummingCage_zpsgfdvejdd.jpg

One more thing...I ran some pink floss through one of the top glass beads before I hot glued it to the bow to be able to hand the cage.

Other products used" Stickles, washi tape, Tim Holtz distressed inks in Spun Sugar, Forest Moss, Victorian Velvet, Scattered Straw, Kraft paper, white card stock

This card is a big one measuring 6-3/4" x 6-3/4". Start by creating the card base, cut 2 pieces of Kraft paper with the 6-3/4" Nestabillities die. To attach them, score at half an inch from the top and fold back just a little bit, you just want it to be able to have some flexibility. Add a little glue up to the score line and attach the two pieces together. This will creates your card base. Set it aside.
Using the same 6-3/4" die again, I cut on piece from Kraft paper and one from the Under the Sea paper collection. (Chose a color you like, they are all beautiful!) Next use the 5-3/4" Nestabillities die and cut one from Kraft paper and one from the coordinating designer paper. (The reason for the Kraft paper is to give the card a heftier feeling, since this will be a big card.)
Now stamp, color and die cut the Hibiscus flowers, two of the fish, one seahorse, set of seashells, two of the beautiful boarders from the Regal Border dies and one Lattice doily. Put the flowers together and add a cute center. (For my flowers, I cut them from the designer paper, so I didn't have to color them in, it's an option.)I also cut 3 of the tag images from the paper collection.
Time to assemble your parts. Cover the Kraft paper with its corresponding designing paper and then center the smaller piece onto the card. Tuck the two pretty boarders on either side of the card as seen in the picture. On the top part of the card, tuck in the 3 tags, stagger them so you can see each little tag peeping through. On the left upper hand side, over one of the tags, tuck in the little seahorse. So he looks like he's come out to see what is going on.
photo YTBEST 2_zpso8hwiqys.jpg On the bottom left corner, adhere the Lattice doily and start to arrange your flowers, I used only 2 but I used lots of leafs. I also tucked one of the fish on the top portions of the flower arrangement. (Isn't he cute? He too is looking around.) Stamp your sentiment on a white piece of card stock and I cut the ends to look like a banner and nestled it among the flowers. On the upper right hand corner, using card stock and washi tape in coordinating colors, I cut 3 banner like pieces, adhere them to the card and place the other cute fish over it, facing down looking at the flowers. Adhered this to the card base, stickle "Everything" and you're done. Now go find someone special you can give this to!! Thanks for watching ... stay crafty!
