Bad JuJu!!!

Hi!! Ive been MIA for a while...reason...my youngest has been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks! She will not be released till the 12th IF all goes as planned. She suffers from CF --CYSTIC FIBROSIS...an awful, incurable lung disease :( Lung infections became severe this past weeks and landed her at the childrens' hospital. ANDDD Krystal got rearended tonight and is now in the ER in the same hospital!! Both my girls!!! Say a lil prayer for my girls tonight! sure would appreciate it! :/  I must have really made "someone" really bad for all this bad juju!!! :/

I will keep you all posted...Thanks so much for all the sweet comments and prayers so many of you have already posted!!!   I miss you all and with God's help we will all be back on track! My poor craft room is growing cobwebs! lol

8x8 Layout "Darling" Layout...I AM ROSES DT

Hi!! I have been MIA huh? I have been so busy and believe it or not, in bed by 10pm!!! But I'll let you in on what's going on later...nowwwwwww what I want to share with you guys is my latest project for the I Am Roses Design Team.  I made this great 8x8 layout. The paper I used is from DCWV, I love this stack!!!  and of course I LOVE these flowers! They make everything look complete don't you think???

I AM ROSES SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hi friends!  Is everything settling down from the Independence Day celebrations? We sure did have fun, just watching the grandbaby get excited over fireworks made the evening!!  So now that is all behind us, are you ready for a challenge?  We were challenged to design a project..anything...a card, a layout, a mini album cover, using a sketch provided by our leader Arlene! Just a Few Friends, STARS & STRIPES

Hello friends!!! Ready to Celebrate Independence Day??? I am so ready not only to celebrate and enjoy the company of family and friends, but to honor those who have fought and those who are still fighting for our Freedom. May God Bless them all and keep them safe today and always...and I'm so happy to have a friend over to spend the day with us.  We are gonna make a few cards, eat and maybe go catch the fireworks later that evening! What are you all going to do?? I hope one thing on your list will be to prowl around all the Dens along with us, Just a Few Friends. We have grown!! We now have 5 new cubs in the Den who are now ready to show you their creations. We hope that what we have created will inspire you to take lots of pictures this holiday and scrap them on your spare time!! (wink wink) ...Our mini hop starts here with me...so lets me show you what I created...a Layout! using solid cardstock, no designer paper here! I did use a floral stamp to make my stripes and hand cut my stars, since our theme was STARS&STRIPES! I used lots of I am Roses and recollections petals and the bling completes my project! I hope you like it! Can't wait to take that one special picture that will fill in the now empty photo mat. Watch the video HERE, there are lots more pictures for you to view... ok here goes...

IAR Design Team project -- WATER CAN PIN CUCHION

Hello!! Its been so hot lately I'm hoping tropical storm Debbie will cool things down a little without causing to much damage anywhere! I'll keep you guys posted to that...The heat has kept me busy in my craft room, I sure prefer it in there vs being outside!!  So here is what I made for the I Am Roses Design team...

I've had this little sad tin water can for years now and its day finally came! I painted it, added some beautiful IAR flowers, some trim, lace, pearls and presto...not so sad anymore eh? I really liked how it turned out!!! I have been on a pin making kick and this will house the pins I wanna ...ummm...hoard? lol nahh lets use the word "collect' or the pins I want to "admire" better huh? lol

The Prides Fathers Day Prowl

HI everyone!!! So excited with this months post!!!!!  The PRIDE has been busy and we are all so excited to announce that we have adopted 4 new Cubs!! 3 female and 1 male cub!!! YAY!!!

They are Margaret, Tina, Bon and Rj!!! Check out their bio in the "Meet the PRIDE" blog. These new friends come from all over the place and have been busy trying to learn all the ins and outs of our den!  But even though they are quit new at it, they managed to create this month's project!!! whooo hooo!!

This month holds a very special holiday...Father's Day!!!  So we all decided to post a week early to give everyone a chance to get inspired and create something home made...something with heart and from the heart! Instead of buying a store bought card!!! booo! (hehehe)   So now 9 strong, The Pride has all the following projects to get your mojo going!!!

This is my project...I created a Tag/mini album/Gift CARD holder! lol yeap combined all 3 into one cute little package. I used Graphic45 paper from several different collections, some recollection bling and 7gypsy stickers!! and NO flowers!!! I TELL you this was a very,VERY hard project for me. It was hard to keep it on the "Flower down low"!!! lol
